A friend has a Remington 788 in 308 caliber with a 3x9 Weaver on it and wants to sell it. What would the fair market value be in average condition? Don't have a Blue Book and would appreciate help.....Thanks

Do you see many sell for that??

Here they start at around $225 in average conditon with really "minty" ones selling for $350.00

Nope, I really don't see them selling for that... Guess the price is subjective to what part of the country you are in and how bad you want one.... just trying to help the guy.

Beat up ones around here in SC sell for $300-350.....

Minty ones are up around $450 if you can ever find one!

I'd love to have a minty 223 for sure, myself!
