Hey John,
On your posts you talk alot about your 257. I am assuming it is a Roberts? What point do you use and what is the velocity? Is it an Ackley?

It is just a plain chambered Roberts. A Rem. 700 classic from '84 ( i think )

I had poor accuracy with 120's, but it likes the 100 to 117 weight class ok.
But mostly I shoot 70's, on coyotes.
As for speeds, 70'[email protected] to 3700.......100's @ 3150, and 117's at 2950. (give or take)

The 70's are hollowpoint, flat-base. The others are soft-point boat-tails.

What brand are the 70's?

I have shot alot of 75's in my 25-06's, but have not seen 70's. Who makes them?

John uses Starke 70gr. They are not made anymore.

I have two boxes left of them too. Use them in my 25-06 and 25-20WCF.

Too bad Clint Starke stopped making bullets.
