I have a Ruger 77 tang safety stock. The magazine box cut out is about 3 inches long. The distance between the rear trigger guard screw and front angled action screw is about 7 inches. What do I have a short action or did Ruger make a middle length action for the Swift? Thanks, Ron

AFAIK, they only made the short and long actions. I remember Jon Sundra, a gun rag writer, was toying with the idea of having a smith cut a long action Ruger down to 'mid' length for the .284 Winchester, but he never got around to it.
