30° in Upstate NY this morning, it is snowing some right now, we have 1" on the ground which is less than expected. It is supposed to stop this morning sometime around 10:00AM. It will be a cloudy day with a wind of 8 to 10mph.

Yesterday I didn't to very much, quite a bit of thinking with a couple of phone calls about the club survey. I did some work here at home and today I will wait till he snow quits and clean things out. Other than that, I plan on taking life as easy as possible.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy and 23, high about 32 with some snow, maybe.
I stayed busy yesterday clearing snow and visiting the hardware store. We had dinner with my wife's oldest brother at a fish house in Faribault. Good food and very noisy.
Today's plan is once again try to accomplish something. Grandkids band concert at 7pm.
Hope everyone has a blessed Saturday,
Ken

31 and still snowing lightly but steadily. Looks like 4-5" of heavy, wet snow. Outside light reveals that is it sticking to all the branches of the trees and weighting them down some. Looks like I'll be attempting to move it around at some point today. Gee, that's going to be a treat once again.
Being wet, it should settle down and melt from beneath if we're lucky. We had a sunny day here, got up to 41 so the ground would have been able to soak up those rays.
Bad thing is looking ahead to Monday night's Nor'easter on top of this mess. Winter ain't over in these parts yet.
Once we get things cleaned up, looks like a day of doing not much. Any thoughts of grabbing the splitter just got put off for another week with these storms. I may be forced to take a ride to the LGS to see what's shaking.
I sure hope you all have a great Saturday.

Mornin boys...36 here high on RUGER Mt this morning. Sure wish I could sleep in on my days off. After yesterday's adventure with the sewer, I think I'm going to go back down and do some things different, after thinking about it last nite. Just 1 of them things that's better to do now before it fills back up. No rest of the wicked I guess...lll
Not looking forward to it but it'll make me.sleep better...maybe.
Don't know what else I'll get into today.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

Good real Saturday morning. 35 heading for 45 in Indy. Today’s big event will be the arrival/introduction of the pup Julie wants to adopt. Everything else will revolve around that. My older son is planning on coming by sometime this afternoon. He’s bringing a new grill which will need some assembly and he’ll haul the old one away. Pretty exciting day, I tell ya’.

IU beat Maryland to advance to the semi-finals of the Big Ten Tournament. They play Penn St, I think, today. Come on baseball season.

Off to the pancake joint. Have a good day.

34° Here this morning. The gun club fish fry was a howling success last night. We had a big turnout for dinner and for the shoot afterward. Back to work this morning after a good night’s sleep. I thought it was cold when I stepped outside this morning but after seeing CTKen’s pictures, I realized the weather here isn’t so bad after all.
Congratulations on the new grill Doug.
Safe travels to those on the road. Make it a good day.

morning all. 38 with 50 later and of course wind, blew most of the night and still at it this morning. Slight chance of some moisture.
Boss man was gone yesterday so we had a busy day, one cow had a set of twins, we got them in and hauled to her own pen so she can
take care of them better. One cow lost her calf when it was born, not sure what happened there but dead is dead. Another had to be brought in
to pull a huge calf, but we got it alive and well.
Hope today is a little quieter, will still be nasty with the wind howling.
But better get at it, slept in for a few minutes anyway. Sure could have used more.
Prayers for those with health issues and others, have a great Caturday.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning everyone, No complains from this end either.
Got a good shower last night first or second rain since mid Nov . 75 at the moment headed to lower 80's bright and ☀.
Yesterday was a successful day at the range .I stepped the load up a little more. I'll pull out the Labradar and see what velocity I'm running with this short barrel next time . The guy beside me asked if I brought my cannon when I got there . It does bark and little.
Vehicle should be maintained until I get back to VA in May.
Life is Good.
Everyone have a great day enjoy your weekend and may the lord's blessings be with you and your family.

NO SNOW. Very pretty photos Ken, but it's not really welcome here. We have had only ONE Snow this winter and its about over. Few cold nights and thats it i say. Snow is a Novelty here.

Good Caturday morning, GoGo. At 0839 it's 37 in Louisville, cloudy, and going to 51. Gotta keep CTKen's photos in mind, because the weather is way uglier up his way. Hope the Nor'easter isn't as bad as expected.

I've used H&R Block Tax Cut for years and been mostly satisfied with it. So, last night I went to Amazon to buy and download the software to pay our 2022 taxes. Whoa! on several fronts. First off, I'm used to paying $40-$50 and it appears most options this year are more like $80-$90. But worse than that, folks who have bought it and already used it this year say it is horribly buggy. Where about 85% of last year's ratings were 4* and 5*, this year those high ratings are running more like 50-60%. Way down. I left Turbo Tax decades ago after they shared individual financial information in a borerline illegal way. I sort of hate going back to them, but may have to. If any of you do your own taxes and are willing to advise me, I'd appreciate it.

The Kentucky Wildcats got spanked pretty badly by Vanderbilt last night, so they'll be a very low seed in the Big Dance. One UK fan summed the season up this way:

JR, I absolutely love Otis' monument. It always felt to me like Otis was as much a GoGo regular as anyone else and I loved hearing about his adventures "catting around." RIP Otis, may we remember you for a long, long time.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe, and lift up prayers for our friends here who are ailing or chasing wild hogs. Hope Sam and Greyfox are on the mend and taking it easy.

Morning folks. It's a drizzly foggy 51 in Hugo OK this morning. We finally drew blood last evening. Larry whacked a sow about 5pm. My. Uddy Tony got a couple shots at one right after dark but they couldn't find it. Coyotes will. I had one come past the feeder, never tripped the motion light. Had I not seen it with the thermal monocular, I have never known. Spent the night watching opossums, rabbits and a ****. Hunted until midnight. Slept in today, breakfast and a place to butcher this pig is on the agenda. Pics later.

Have a good one.

40 with some sun and clouds, probably make the low 50s today. The trees continue to green up and the yard is filled with blooming dead nettle. This morning both dogs jumped up looked out the front window and started barking. Took a couple of seconds to figure it out. There was a very large red fox walking across the yard. Haven't seen one here in several years. Don't plan much for today, Tarcila will be in zoom meeting all day and I'll need to spend a lot of time with the dogs to keep them somewhat quite when she is speaking. I dropped off the BAT Beggs yesterday with the gun mechanic as it is just not working. Maybe he can figure it out. I'll be reverting to a BAT PPC for a while. It shot well last season and maybe there is a little left. If I shoot it badly I'll know it's me and not the rifles. This is very possible. Might load some PPC ammo and might start on an epoxy sleeve in a Savage J action if I can muster the courage.

Cool marker JR. My two German shepherds are buried under a couple of dogwoods. I think about them every time I look up the hill, especially in the spring.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Morning all, 38 headed to 52, gloomy day overall. Got a ton of reloading done, put my peep sights back on the Marlin 336 in 38/552 shots to zero, and then I went 3 for 3 on pop cans at 100 yds, off hand. Dang that felt good. I am not nearly as sore as I thought I would be, but sore enough. Not much on agenda today, just see what the wife wants to do, and go from there. You all have a good day, prayers for all of us old farts, Buff out.

Morning Everyone!

Its 45º and cloudy here headed for the low 50's. We have a strong chance of rain and T'storms through out the day and into the wee hours of tomorrow morning.

The housekeeper was here yesterday and I retreated to the loading room. I resized and primed 600 9MM cases and did a little straightening up. Out of 600 cases I culled 6 due to loose primer pockets. I guess thats what you get when you shoot range brass? The Wife, Cat and I all had naps in the afternoon.

Todays plan is that my oldest Son and Grandson are coming over to help me organize the attic. I haven't done much since we moved except put stuff up there. We'll watch the Razorbacks play this afternoon.

Donnie, besides being an Electrical Lineman I ran a sideline electrical business. One of my regular customers was a small community a little bit South of us. They had their own sewer system which was mostly like a giant septic tank with booster stations and grinder pumps feeding it. The pumps were controlled by float switches, a start, stop and another for an alarm. It was kind of a shittie job and I charged them double my regular rate which they were all right with. Don't really miss that!

JR, thats a nice memorial for your little buddy. My Cat Missy was 19 last Thursday.

I hope you fellows that are taking these falls are doing ok. I know it ain't much fun!

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.
