56° here in Upstate NY under overcast skies this morning, the high temperature will be going up to about 68°. It will be a cloudy day with a 9 to 11 mph wind and a 30% for some rain showers.

Yesterday I was on the road in the morning and then in the afternoon i got my yard mowed. Today I am trying to decide if I want to go fishing this morning or not, I am somewhat tired from the week. If I decide to go, I will head "Up Home" in a while.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Morning all, 68 headed to 70 for the hi, raining and continuing all day. My buddy came by yesterday evening, pulled the pto seal, bearings and gasket, had the old ones out and the new ones in in about 45 minutes. Started it up, ran the pto on hi rpm"s for 10 min, no leak good to go. Zeroed a AR for a neighbor yesterday and he left a older Sears/Mossberg single shot for me to work on. Heading to Somerset in a few, hitting some gun shops and flea markets, then take the wife out to lunch, I guess you could call it a day date. We enjoy our time together so much, it is always fun.Doug congrats on the great grand kid, and MRC on your groundhog. You all have a great day, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out.

Good Caturday Noonish time greetings from the rainy sticks of Kentucky. Just a very light rain that won't leave much on the ground.

This is not my Cat, but it could be, as he is lying next to what is always on my couch.
The Cat that looks like an EGG wins the Internet today.
Congratulations on the Grandkid Pancake Doug, you and I need to hang around a while if we can.

This was sitting in my driveway this 🌄 morning. A band of Gypsies had encamped here over night after a Rummage Sale at a DamJunkyard.
I think this is only the first stage of moving their youngin home to Michigan.

Damgrandkid is graduating from the 8th grade tonight and my attendance is requested. Maybe...
I have more hay equipment to hook up and get the kinks out and may cut hay tomorrow.

Have a safe day folks and enjoy yourselves, but be safe doing so. Don't jump off any Cliffs in Guatemala.

Been a long week. Haven’t felt real great. Daughter had been here a couple of weeks and she took off for home and family. Was home 1 day and then they took off for Florida for a week on the beach.
Personally I’d rather be in the mountains somewhere.
Don’t know what my problem was this week, just couldn’t get my get-up-and-go going. Feeling better today.
Congrats to pancake Doug and Julie.
All you travelers be careful and have a great time.
Prayers for our Country, Israel, Ukraine and all Y’all

Would those be "rolled oysters"?

Tom they are raised here at my place. I purchased the seedlings a little over a year ago . These are called triploid oysters and the don't reproduce which allows them to grow faster . These are a little over a year old and the average shell was around 3" long . I try to space out the different batches so I always have small oysters for eating. Out of a 1000 I may get 600-700 + -. You have to keep the bags clean at the beginning as the spat are about the size of your pinky finger nail. And the bag opening clog up easily. Once in a larger bag or cage they are basically on there own . Otters, crabs are a known enemies . They can be labor intense but very enjoyable if you like them.

Tom, to me Jim's look like they're coated in batter, maybe rolled in crackers, then fried. Classic Louisville rolled oysters are done pretty much that way except that three oysters are rolled together. Jim's look a lot like fried clams, so I'm pretty sure I'd love 'em.
Thanks KF I had no idea what a rolled oyster was🤔😉
