52° here in Upstate NY this fine morning, the high temperature for today to be about 72°.

It was a cooler day yesterday with the temperatures down in the 80's with less humidity. It felt decent compared to the temperatures and humidity we have been experiencing.

Well it was a short week but it was also a long week as I was so busy. Today I am heading "Up Home" to fish and I don't care if I catch anything or not it will be a very nice day indeed.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Unusually great morning everyone,

A "cool" summer morning with 52°, no humidity & no breeze here near Halfway USA. Greater comes later with a high of 82° and sunshine all day.

DD & I got home yesterday around 2pm. Camping was enjoyable. The big double wide worked out well for Zac, Sofie & kids for a temporary home base. Her family's farm is only a few miles away. Her family is huge & the house simply won't hold the whole clan. Zac helped out with some electronics repair on the truck scale & got things humming along better. Sofie's brother is the manager of the big dairy operation & everything is done as efficiently as possible - right down to weighing the feed the cattle get. Every cow/calf is electronically tag & tracked on an ongoing basis.

Grass to mow today. A few more things in the big double wide need to be taken out because "TA DAAAAA" it's time to start packin' & sackin' for Prairie Dog Safari 2018.

morning all. 47 and should get into the mid 80s today, very slight chance of any moisture.
Shut off more sprinklers for hay cutting, another will go off today, will only leave a few running on oat hay and new alfalfa.:) The more off the easier my job is.
Worked on the swather with the AC problem, was blowing nice cold air when I moved it out of the shop, hope it still works today.
Had to do a knotter repair on the boss mans' baler yesterday and didn't get time to finish up mine, maybe today.
Even took a little time to whack a few p-dogs yesterday :D
Time to move along, have a good day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

It was 71º in the hollow at 4:45 when my alarm went off. If you hear rifle fire in the background it's because I'm directing a UBR match at Two Brothers Rifle Range near Auburn KY. Looks to be a fine day with a high in the mid 80's. We have out best turnout in years, maybe ever, with 29 rifles competing.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning everyone..sleep in until about 8 this morning. Up and headed to my dad's to help him run weedeaters around the yard before it gets any hotter. My .223 bolthead should be here today so hopefully I can get it in and the barrel headspaced and maybe test fired today as well.
Monthly cruise uptown is this evening and thinking about dragging the El Camino out to drive but not sure yet. It's getting close to being sold off to make space for the 66 coronet in the garage.

Need to find me a small pop up canopy real soon to drag to MT in a few weeks. I seen Rural King has some for cheap but might be big turds.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning

Good real Saturday morning. It's 65 in Indy heading for 81. The cool down is directly related to me spending a chunk of money to get the AC repaired, I'm sure. I also bought gas this morning so expect a price drop shortly. If you need tires, hold off for a bit. I'm putting new rubber on the truck next week. You're welcome.

Nothing else to report here.

Prayers for those in need.

Have a good day.

61 on the way to 86 today.

The usual mix of chores, dogs and gun stuff today.

Fires slowly getting contained. It going to be weeks to consider them out. More stared in the far north and south yesterday. It’s been a bad year already.

Have a good day and be careful out there.

Perfect beach day on the north shoe of Lake Erie. Except for the dam* tourists. Mupere's ( I'm up here from Pittsburgh)
Early work party at gun club today. Finished up the emergency lighting that the code people and insurance company made us put. Also lost our indoor wood stove to the fire insurance. Actually, it was in poor shape and a PITA to the fire up and maintain. Noe we can come up with real live central heating.
I probably should have gone to the beach. I stuck a case in my Redding 221 FB die. I rarely do that and usually have the the tools to remove it. There was a Remington case in the can of Noslers that I wanted the to de prime and size. It might have missed the lube or was just too far out of spec. The Remingtons were not shot in my rifle. I striped a grade 8 bolt and the threads I cut in the base. Not much meat for a second chance with the .222 base. Redding has sharp learning curve for stuck cases. The first removal is free.. if you buy a $30 stuck case tool. OUCH. If it was an RCBS or Lee I would have pitched it or sent it back for a freebie. Not may precision dies for 221 FB.

Tom, down here they are "tour-ons". We are run over with them this week, with the anniversary of the battle and all.

Late to the party today, and plum wore out. Fishing was good last night. Camper was hot when we went to bed. Laying there sweating was not fun. Cold front came thru, then I got cold. Didn't sleep for $hit and was up at 4:45. Fishing was good again, but the cold front and stiff north wind made the Bay a choppy mess. We took a while to limit out. Packed up and fought traffic for 3.5 hours home. No trailer issues, which is always a good thing. Unloaded, showered and ready to pass out.

See y'all on tomorrow's morning post. ZZZZZZZ...
