63° here in Upstate NY this morning. a nice morning out there although we have a 40% chance of rain. The high for today will be up to about 76° and that will be about the high temperature for the next few days.

Mixed bag yesterday, I went to the range first thing in the morning, had to repair one computer and got my lawn mowed. Today I would normally go fishing but I have to attend a funeral for a friend.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Saturday

Good real Saturday morning all. You can blame that phrase on the Damcow farmer. He made me realize how many "Saturdays" there are in a week but only one real one. Anyway, it's 61 heading for 80 in Indy. My son and a buddy of his are replacing some exterior trim under the peaks of our roof today. Setting up and tearing down scaffolding three times. He won't let me get both feet off the ground at the same time so I'll be the supervising water boy.

Off to breakfast, the work gang is due at 8:00.

Have a good whatever-the-heck today is.

morning all. 44 cool ones but should get to 85 with a very slight chance of moisture late today.
After a quick trip to town yesterday, I got my baler ready to go again. Dealer had the parts I needed :)
Have a sprinkler that needs to run but won't, will get to it right after I check the others, hope the rest of them are working.
Better move along, have a good weekend!
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning folks. It's 67° here with sunshine, I think. Ain't been out yet. We had a storm roll thru about 4pm yesterday. I wanted to get the widow neighbor's mowed before we leave for Hatteras. Not gonna happen now. I have to work a few hours at the shop today, before I'm officially on vacation. When I get home I'll load up the boat and truck. Early morning blast off. Not sure the time. 3-4am maybe. Depends if I can sleep or not.

Well, I better get some coffee in me, then get Sue to buzz my hair off before I go to work. Gotta git. Have a good one!

Lots of excitement since I last posted on the green board. We welcomed our first grandchild into the world, earlier this week. Our older son and his wife are the proud parents of Little baby Sophie. She and her mother are doing fine. Also, our younger son and his long-time girlfriend were married last week. We have known the bride and her family for several years now and she is a great addition to our family. We’re having a big get-together today and expecting dozens of folks to stop by with congratulatory greetings for all.

The temperature and humidity has broken this week. Got a lot of work done outside and actually enjoyed doing it. I spent yesterday evening in the backyard, melting down some lead pipe. Ended up with about 200 pounds and still have a bucket of wheel weights to sort through.

Haven’t been on here much but just skimming through the threads, I didn’t see any reports from Montana. I sure hope Skruske and the gang haven’t taken up residence there and gone “off the grid.”

Reading Gabriel’s post reminded me of the farm machinery show in Brookeville,Indiana. I think it is in September. It’s always a fun and interesting day.

Have fun in Hatteras Charlie.
Doug - I’ve seen your supervising skills before and you are the right man for the job !
Mr Foster-Sorry to hear about your friend. We have a funeral to attend tomorrow also. She was a friend of our family for many years. It will be good to see everyone there but we hated to see her go.

Wishing everyone a good weekend.

Here we are from off the grid with 55° at sunrise and about 70° at 9am.

More rain at midday yesterday chased us inside & left us lacking for opportunity to shoot long.

Corey & me are on the ridge makin' blood on the prairie right now. Well, for a bit anyway. He & Craig are headed to Billings for a trip back east.

Yesterday was good chootin on the Hughes place. We call this pic "Bloodbath"

Craig made His longest hit at around 375yds shooting prone.

Me & the damncow farmer will guard the perimeter for a day or so before he heads out to see Miss Judy. I will stay back another day or two to take time to visit our rancher hosts and to leave some tip money.
