64° here in Upstate NY this morning, we are supposed to have a high temperature of about 72° today. It rained some yesterday but today it is supposed to be dry. Tomorrow we have a chance of rain again and then next week is supposed to get hot again.

I spent more time on the road yesterday and I wanted to go fishing today but once again the river is up. I don't think I have been "Up Home" fishing in about four weeks due to the rain.

Is this a real Saturday? 70 here in NC Ohio with 40% chance of rain. By the looks of the weather maps , I think Scott has 90 and me 10!!!! By the way welcome back too Michigan Scot. Its a holiday weekend so be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Great morning folks,

Cloudy, 64° with rain on the way here near Halfway USA. The weather across the mid section of the country is being dominated by an intense low pressure system located over northern Hudson Bay. It has created a frontal boundary extending south west all the way to Texas. Expect lots of rain over the next few days.

Most of the yard work is caught up. I still have some tree trimming to do but that can wait for another day or week. The RZR got power washed & all the desert dust & U.P. mud came off. Still more stuff to unload from the 5th wheel then a detail cleaning is in orders. More desert dust removal & lots of bugs to scrub off.

The wet weather coming will allow me time inside to clear up my rifles. Not much brass to attend to from Prairie Dog Safari 2018. I just did not shoot very many rounds.

Saturday

Yep, it's a real Saturday. I can tell because there were a bunch of high school football games last night. The New Palestine Dragons, by the way, put another serious whuppin' on a conference opponent beating Yorktown 81-13. Reserves played the entire second half as usual. In 3 games they have outscored the opposition 189-22.

Grandson had his first college golf tournament yesterday. He reported that he played poorly but he always manages to take away something positive. Even if it's only identifying areas that need some attention. He did that!

It's around 70 in Indy heading for mid 80s. Rain maybe.

Good morning folks. It's 69° here and very overcast. We had some torrential rains last night a few counties over. 5-10" of rain fell in a few hours. Lots of flash flooding. In town we got a good soaker. Downpoured about 10 minutes as I was leaving work. Rained at home just enough that I couldn't mow. Ah well, that'll give me something to do this weekend...if it doesn't rain again. Miss Sue and I have to go to work another gun raffle today. Got some meat for the smoker for later this weekend and an day off on Monday. I was going to take the boat out tomorrow, but they're burying McCain in Annapolis tomorrow. Don't think we want to go anywhere near that mess.

Gotta roll. Coffee and a quick shower and head to the shop. Have a good one,

morning all. 50 here with mid 70s and wind for later, possible showers too.
This sleeping in is habit forming! But nice .
Baled again yesterday morning, three more fields done for the year. Not sure there are any ready today.
Got most of the swather done, only have to put the header back on the hook up all the hoses. Probably take a couple more hours.
Another sprinkler stuck in the mud so will have to work on getting it going today too.

Good Morning to everyone from up here on the windy prairie. 57 degrees this morning may warm up a bit today. Another drizzly damp day like yesterday. Weather gal says it’s going to continue through tomorrow and Monday it will warm up.
I got the yard mowed yesterday in the rain so the place don’t look like it’s abandoned now. I’m glad I got that chore out of the way. The back yard is the worst, to many trees to mow around. I tempted to log it off. I noticed one thing and that is we have a bumper crop of acorns this year. 2 bunches of wood ducks flew in last evening to feed.
I ordered a “Trigger Tech” Trigger and it came yesterday so I’m putting that on my 243 Ackley today. This is my third one and I really like them. They are frictionless and don’t have any creep, which I really like.

Afternoon everyone....at the shop tinkering while my battery charged on my truck...seems some knucklehead left my lights on. Of coarse I didn't figure that out until I got back from Kentucky last night at 9pm and noticed my dome light didn't come on when I opened the door. I took my other car home and came back this morning.

Trip was uneventful except for a few slow downs in traffic. I think my wife only flipped off and cussed one person the whole trip. We pretty much did a turn and burn with just a stop at Texas roadhouse in Lexington for dinner before heading home. Sportsmans Warehouse didn't get my money this time.

Headed back to the house in a few to try to prime the block garage wall I power washed a week or so ago then see if paint will stick. I need to get the El Camino out and wash it up for the monthly cruise uptown tonight....everytime I go up there I get antsy to start dumping money in the Coronet....trans should be good to go I just need to get on the engine.....which may lead to lots of trouble.....I might try to shoehorn one...maybe two turbos in there with the big block. It will have fuel injection for sure. I'm sure by the time its running again my wife will have named it "The other Bitch".
