55° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature for the day to get up to about 64°. This weather is nice for a couple of days in view of the fact the humidity is down along with the temperature.

Yesterday turned out very nice but it was still humid till later in the afternoon. This morning a best friend of the past 52yrs and I are going to spend some time up to the gun club shooting. We haven't been able to go shoot together very much for the past couple of years so I am looking forward to it.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Mornin George and the gang...
Phone says its 70 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Had to work late yesterday. Helped replace a fan motor on
a air handler in a attic in a double wide the school used for
a computer room. The temp in the attic was 132.1° when we finally got in in and running.
We roasted...no room to work and wires and stuff in the way. Thought we was done
for the day and got a call from my boss asking if we would do him a favor.
We ended up putting a compresser in for a freezer that quit. Long story short, I got home a little before 9 last nite. Didn't go to sleep till after 11 and my eyes flew open
at 335 this morning...joy, joy, joy...hot day is a understatement.
Ain't sure what we'll get into today. Melissa called first thing when I got to work and said the A/C in my reloading building was making a loud noise so she cut it off yesterday morning too. Ain't looked at it yet so I might be putting another 1 in it.
Got another 1 already sitting there so hope it ain't too bad putting it in.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

Good morning, 54 here in Iowa, high around 75 and low humidity.
I got my RV issues temporarily fixed yesterday. The internal battery charger is fired, hooked up another charger and we have lights for now.
We went up home yesterday and mowed the lawn, and took some more stuff up and brought some back.
I have 2500 pounds of range scrap lead that I sold to a fellow in Atlantic that needs to be delivered, guess I will work on getting it loaded for Monday.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good Morning

65 with light rain here in NC Ohio. IF we get the rain the gloom & doom forecasters are talking, I will need too have someone catch me and rowboat as we swirl down the Ohio river!! Heavy rain right now will create a mud bowl as the the dairy farm starts silage harvest on 2,000 acres of corn. Well today will be doing domestic work and stay close to the sump pump!!! Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all. 40 here should get to 75 today... maybe. Saw the temp at 35 degrees one place on the farm yesterday morning. No wonder it feels like fall so much.
Well it finally got dry enough to bale, got two fields done. But now after yesterdays' hay cutting, we have a little over 500 acres cut, hope it dries fast. More will get cut today, but no baling for a couple days anyway.
Gwyn and I are going over the mountain to the big city for a party. Anniversary party for my cousin, some shopping is on the list also. Will be nice to get off the farm for a day.
Have a great weekend and stay dry and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning folks. It is 64° and raining lightly here, but it poured overnite. Had a couple drips on the floor in the great room this morning. Only does that if it rains real hard. Not too bad now, but looking at the radar, looks like Gordon is going to dump on everybody from here to Iowa Fox for awhile. Going to be a wet couple days for the northeast.

Mom picked up her car last night and she is tickled pink. Dealership really treated her well. Hope the car lasts her a long time. Miss Sue and I went out to the distillery again for dinner. Good food and drink. Gotta work at the shop today a bit. Not sure what else I might get into later on.

Have a good one.

Great morning all,

Clouded over with 55° but a chance at clearing later here near Halfway USA. We are on the northern edge of the front that is delivering all the rain to the Ohio valley.

The ******* Limo got a much needed oil change and lube job. I burned off all the sticks & branches from that past several weeks. That was a HOT fire. I updated all the food stuffs in our BOB's. BOB = bug out bag. It's a survival back pack that stays in our vehicles. Old habit from many years of running the roads at all hours of the day & night.

Rummages sales nearby in a big subdivision & DD wants me to escort her. This one will get our exercise in for the day too. Much easier to walk it than try to drive. The grass is going to need to be cut by this evening. 4 1/2 days between clippings right now.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 72 in Louisville, only going to 80, with -- guess what? -- heavy thundershowers all the way through tomorrow. I have no idea how much we've gotten so far. Need to buy a rain gauge and screw it to the fence where I can see it from the kitchen window.

Don't know what I'll get into today, but I'm in the midst of trimming about 150 pieces of 6BR brass. My Salvage is long throated and I determined years ago that basically I didn't need to worry about ever trimming the brass for it. But I shot like crap at the recent UBR Nationals, so I have to back up and check some things. One of the things I learned was that my 6BR brass differs by as much as 20 thou in length. I don't think that's the biggest factor in my poor shooting, but I decided to even up that brass. Won't hurt.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there. If water gets over the road, don't drive through it.

Saturday

Good morning all. It's 62 in Indy, raining and not likely to stop any time soon. Gotta' find something productive to do indoors. I may just take a hint from Too the wonder dog and nap. Gas prices are down about 15 cents since I filled up Thursday. Wouldn't be so bad if the truck didn't have a 36 gallon tank.

Watching the Mecum auction from Louisville yesterday. A guy paid $17K (plus 10%) for a really nice looking 2005 Mustang GT. They interviewed him a few minutes later. He was from Australia. Said he came specifically to buy a Mustang. I'm guessing it may cost him as much to ship it back as he paid for it.

Y'all have a good real Saturday.

Morning gang! Supposed to be hot and humid today with a high of 87, and the humidity already at 82%, not going to be doing too much outside today. Have had a terrible time with my hip the last 4 days, I pulled it, hung my foot up on a vine when putting up a deer blind, and have strained a ligament, got to take it easy for another week or two. It gets so dang frustrating when you cant do anything like you are used to. Remember those in need of prayers, Buff out!
