54° here in Upstate NY this morning, we had a little rain overnight but nothing to terrible. The high temperature for today is to get up to about 64° under partly sunny skies.

Yesterday I did some computer repairs and I also managed to get my lawn mowed. I wish I could say I am going fishing today but I am not, I will be doing more computer work. I would still like to get out fishing again before my ruffed grouse and woodcock season opens Oct 1st but only time will tell.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning folks,

Fall like temperatures at 47° and a partly cloudy sky here near Halfway USA. We should only see a high in the upper 60's today.

More firewood aerobics yesterday. Cut split load unload & stack another truck full. We left behind some split on the ground and we'll go get that on Monday.

Today's fun & games include traveling to brother & sister in law's farm to harvest Pumpkins. Three trucks & a large trailer to load up.

Tomorrow we head up to the flood house to retrieve a tote of electrical stuff. The dear lady also had some severe wind blow through in August and it took down several trees. Mike has been up there cutting & clearing. Deb & I are going to haul the splitter up there and reduce the bolts to firewood size.

All this physical activity will get us into shape for hunting seasons.

Good morning gents and gentlettes. It’s 58 in Indy heading for 67 with a chance of rain this morning. Avoided the high school football game last night as it was home coming. Made it home staying for me. The Dragons were up 69-0 at the half and I turned off the radio. Their running back is leading the country in TDs and seldom plays the 2nd half.

Off to search for something worthwhile to do.

Have a good’n.

morning folks. It's 65º here and WET again. It seriously dumped last night for quite awhile. Not sure how much rain we got but it really made my grass seed take off. It's getting green thru the straw I spread. Hopefully I have that situation under control this time.

Yesterday after work I gathered some spare lumber and made Lillie a proper shooting bench. I even custom made a stool for her that I can take boards off as she grows. We're going to shoot a bit this afternoon, after I work at the gun shop. Tyler made it home and brought his rifle and HK pistol with him. He wants to shoot it too. He's also got the bug for a new gun. He's going to come in to shop this afternoon while I'm there. Maybe we'll get to shoot something else?

Well I better get some coffee and breakfast in me and jump in the shower. Have a good one.

morning all. 42 with 100% humidity and should get into the mid 70s again today. Darn wind blew all morning yesterday and really was cool, fall like.
No baling but maybe later today. Boss man is off to the other side of the valley gathering calves to bring home to wean. That time of year again.
I worked on one of the swathers all afternoon yesterday, not sure I gained anything. Had the New Holland guy out Wednesday but what he did didn't help it stay running either.
Slept in again, think that's the way Saturdays should start .
But now better get moving. Have a great weekend.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning everyone....at the shop now after a sweep of the southern end of the county looking for fields that have been emptied of their crops.
Not sure what I'm going to do this morning but not really into being here so far. I have to run out to my dad's later and help with the weed eating...usually have my son go help but he had a date last night and is MIA this morning....so we may not be seeing him until later and I'm sure he's gonna get the 3rd degree from his mother about not being a manwhore as she calls it.....says he gets it from me.

Had a miss at the hog barns lastnight…..right at dark I roll in and spot one looking like he's leaving the area in a waterway. I hit the call and he turns back, he gets about 120yrds out or so and bugs out then stops but it's dark enough he was hard to see in the scope and just light enough the red led lights don't help. I popped a shot anyway and it was a miss. I just got greedy and should have waited another 15 minutes then started calling.

Hope everyone has a good day it looks like its going to be nice and cool!
