55° here in Upstate NY this morning, it is to be a decent day today with the temperature going up to about 66° for a high.

Yesterday was a pretty decent day, I was able to get few things done for myself. I was on the road in the morning but home in the afternoon. Today I am going to go bird hunting for awhile, I don't know if I will have any luck but it will be nice to get out.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

Its a real Saturday for all those on endless vacation. 66 and humid here in NC Ohio, this up - down temperature tears me up this time of the year its better when its stable. Had a Stilh saw with a 20 inch bar that I was not able to handle anymore so I traded it for a load of of solid oak firewood. They even stacked it in the pole barn. I still have my 14 inch saw which is even hard for me to use. Well I Pray that by the end of the day we have a new justice on our Supreme Court. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Good morning from the treestand. 64° here with fog. Got another cat in the skunk trap this morning. Late dealing with that but up a tree and ready. Got my yard mowed yesterday. Still fighting battery issues but the new starter works good. Want to try to baby this battery along a few more weeks then get a new one in the spring. Have to work at the shop today so it will be a short hunt. Gotta run. Have a good one.

Good morning friends and neighbors. It’s 71 in Indy heading for middle 80s. I’m heading for one grandson’s golf tournament and, if I get away from there in time, another’s band performance. Julie and her twin sister are heading for Muskegon, MI then around the lake to Racine, WI. They could take the ferry across but it’s ridiculously expensive. Anyway, I’m unsupervised until some time Monday. Thank God for fast food and GPS. New Pal Dragons had their second closest game of the year last night. They won 56-14. First time anybody has put two TDs on ‘em. They may be in trouble when they run into serious competition and the starters have to play the second half.

Prayers for those in need and those confused Senators.

Have a good day.

43 now high of 63 called for

Well Skeeter Magnet Charlie, I hope you get your deer today.
I picked up the Sig P365 the other day. I think am going to like it. As one reviewer said, “ I have a S&W Shield that I have $1,000 into to get it to do what the 365 does out of the box.”
I am trying to talk myself into replacing my from axle u joints on the F350 today. I hear it is an all day job. What I hate worse is paying $600 for something I can do. I’ll be 67 tomorrow. I have less enthusiasm for the type of stuff every year.
Have a great day gang.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 71 in Louisville, going to 89. Yep, October and we're still hitting near 90.

As Doug mentioned it appears we'll finally have a new Supreme Court justice by end of day. I just hope we remember Greyfox's advice and never vote for another Democrat so long as we live. Term limits? We've already got 'em, they're called elections. If and when we do make a mistake, vote the bastards out! As a nation we're spending far too much time, and suffering far too much conflict because of a federal government that has gotten way more powerful than the Constitution ever intended.

Back on Labor Day weekend I shot my Savage 6BR in the UBR Nationals in Somerset. It was the worst I guess I've ever shot in competition and part of the reason was my trigger. The trigger was always set very, very light and apparently something changed a smidge so that I started having accidental discharges if I didn't ease the bolt down very carefully. Took me totally out of my rhythm and required me to pay more attention to the trigger than anything else. After that debacle it didn't take me long to order a Rifle Basix SAV2, a trigger I have enjoyed in another Savage for many years. I finally got the new one installed yesterday and I think it's going to be a good investment. Scotty, remind that fella in Texas that I'd probably have put a Jewell trigger in my Savage if they made one for it.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

No WAS and no Dean today, I hope they are ok. Skruske is getting ready to be Arm Candy at DD's class reunion so I think maybe he's at the beauty salon for a makeover. Then on to Elk country.
Like Dean I have been securing my implements for the winter,; moving the hay Fluffer yesterday and a Wheel fell off. Trip to town today to get new bearings for that wheel, which I put a new tire on it yesterday afternoon. Gabriel, i am also tired of working on my Junky machinery. Brand new, it still tears up.

MPC mike, I bought a new Stihl chainsaw a few weeks ago...way to old to buy one of those. I'm thinking I may not cut any more wood next year because it about got me down this time. Just got the excess stowed away in the barn yesterday. Son and Feral Damgrandkid came down and helped me, but only one of the pair will do any work.
Judy Brown is heading to Renfro Valley to see The Queen of Bluegrass, Rhonda Vincent . Lunch with her and concert in the evening....I ain't invited. Thank Goodness.

Got to do some outdoor cooking sometime today so I better get the cats fed and head to town to get bearings. Charlie didn't listen when I told him to use Apple slices in his skunk trap or he wouldn't have caught my Cat again.
Y'all have a nice day and be safe.

34 here with a wind chill of 28. Windy all day yesterday and all night, still blowing this morning. Must be fall.
Need to get all the equipment cleaned up and put away for the winter, will take a week or two to get it all done. Still need to finish up draining sprinklers too. Might get some done today.
Better get. Have a great weekend.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Your weather reports continue to make me wonder because I talked to my sister who lives in Spring, TX, just a few miles east of you, a few minutes ago and she said that it never got to 90 degrees in Spring today with a humidity in the low 70's.

Its hard to imagine that much difference in maybe 10+ miles.
