36° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature is supposed to get up to about 39° today. We have a 100% chance of rain and they say we may get 2" to 3" of between today and tomorrow.

Wasn't to bad a day yesterday the temperature didn't get up as far as they predicted and a little bit of wind. I got the yard mowed and the leaves mulched up so that is taken care of for another week.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning folks,

A pleasant 44° with cloud cover and an easterly breeze begins the day here near Halfway USA. A low pressure cell located over southern Ohio is bring all the moister in from the east coast. We are on the western edge but may still see some light rain.

Grass just wasn't long enough to cut yesterday. It'll probably wait until Monday or so when things dry up. I did get several other outside chores done though. I got some firewood loaded on the wagon.

Don't know what today has waiting for me. Might have to visit a local gun shop & see if they may have an NEF barrel. Seems parts for those mundane single barrel shot guns are become gold plated. Well the prices reflect that anyway. How can a complete shot gun, worth maybe $80 be parted out and just the barrel priced at $170? I also have a Savage model 1903 22lr that is in need of re-sleeving. Brownell's carries 22lr sleeves but I'm having a difficult time locating a smith will to take on that sort of work.

Good morning, 46 and light rain. It has been drizzling all night since.
Not much on the ticket today. Lawn needs mowing but it has gotten so tall That I cannot find the little tree seedlings.
We pulled the trigger on a new boiler and water heater combined unit yesterday. Supposed to be installed Wednesday.
I got a lot of sorting out the reloading components that need selling. I know what I have now. Big sale next spring.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning everyone....I'm at the shop already this morning. I have a ton of work here at the shop right now. I have some 18ft long weldments for part of a glass furnace to weld on....have my cert plates out getting tested this weekend hopefully my son will get his ran and pass since he's a rookie. Another customer dropped off another stone/bedding box that is beat to hell and back that needs a rebuild.

While I was at TCS pilfering round last night another guy I do work for tells me he's got something for me. It seem he was hauling his lowboy trailer with a pretty good size excavator on in and he said something broke and the trailer detached and probably plowed some road I think!

I also have a few jobs Tony is running across his machines that he needs welding done to as well so it seems if any coyote hunting I get to do will be done at night if I feel like it.

It was good to see some post from the Birdog this week!....it's been a little while.

Well My coffee pot quit making noise so that must mean its time to get a cup and go stare at something to see what gets done today.

Hope everyone stays safe and has a good day!

morning all. 29 to start, on the way to low 60s again. Rather warm for last of Oct. here.
Helped a friend load a nice 4x4 buck his wife shot yesterday morning, only deer shot around here this year so far. Just no tags given out!
Got the balers out and kinda cleaned off, didn't do as much as usual but got a lot of loose hay off. Backed in the building and ready to unhook from the tractors. Might work on that this afternoon.
Going across the valley to a gun show this morning, don't need anything or really want anything, but you never know what might follow a guy home
Slept in so running late, better get moving along.
Have a great weekend, be safe and remember our country in your prayers.
GOD BLESS. Dean

41 on the way to 70 in the far Northern region of California. There is a chance for rain tomorrow, I sure hope we get some, we are in dire need.

Watched the series last night. I guess I didn’t tell the dogs to let me sleep in. I have to run some small errands, then I’m going to enjoy the rest of the day.

Have good day boys and be careful out there.

Good Morning

46 here this morning and only going up 5 degrees today.
Changing oil in the Jeep and playing with the 221 Fireball are the only plans I have today. I’m sure something will come up that will require immediate attention but until then, I’m sticking to the plan.

Make it a good day

Good morning folks. It's about 50° here in Delaware. It blew a gale yesterday evening and dumped several inches of rain before pushing north. The wind is slowly subsiding but I don't think there will be any fishing today. My phone rang at 3AM. It was the tenant in our 2nd floor apartment at work. Her fire alarm was going off. She couldn't get in touch with the first person she tried and I was number 2. And I'm 4 hours away. Told her to call 911 tell them it's non emergency and please send someone out to turn it off. Haven't heard back. I guess she did?

Not sure what we're doing today. Probably eat a late breakfast and go to the outlets and your around. Been awhile since I've been down this way.

Have a good one.

Saturday

Saturday is upon us. Real Saturday! Currently 44 and might make the low 50s. Going to the showing for the 45 year old son of long time friends. His parents are divorced but I worked with his dad and bowled with his mom for years. Knew him when he was just a little bitty guy. I've had my share of funerals and I don't want to do anymore. You do what you have to do.

Expect the #2 buttons from Dillon to arrive any day now and I'm chompin' at the bit to load some more .224 Valkyrie test loads even though the range is a long haul. The really bad news is that deer season is near and the range will be busier than usual. I gotta' quit buying new guns late in the year.

The New Palestine Dragons took revenge on the Zionsville Eagles last night. Z'ville knocked them out of the tournament and planted a flag in the middle of New Pal's field last year. Last night, that flag was burned with much hoopla in the Z'ville parking lot after the game.

World Series game 3! 3-2 in 18 innings would be like watching grass that won't grow, paint that won't dry, or 5 soccer games. I was asleep long before it ended. Hoping for something a little shorter tonight.

Have a good day.

Up at 4:50 this morning to drive to Chapel Hill and direct a UBR match. It was breezy & cool with some light rain now and then. Conditions were tough but a few figured them out. I wasn't one of them, shot like $h!t. Have to say, I had a good time anyway, but need to get my head back in the game if I'm gonna play it. Got back home about 2:30 and it's still cloudy and cool. Will rest a bit, get a shower and take my honey out for dinner a little later. Tomorrow is another day.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
