42° here in Upstate NY this morning and it is damp and dreary. The high today is only to be about 45° and they say we will have some showers amounting to maybe another 1/2" of rain today.

Yesterday it rained most of the day and I was working inside so it didn't bother me all that much. Today I don't really plan on doing that much but I would like to be able to spend time outside.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

40 here in gray, wet NC Ohio. I know for a fact that this type of weather is not a friend of anyone with arthritis!!! Well I have some work to do in the barn, watch some collage football, and maybe head to town tonight for some dinner. Be safe and remember that its up to us to save this great country this Tuesday. Prayers to those and country. Mike
Good morning. 37 now, high of barely 50. The RV is still in the shop til mid next week. Wife is distraught. Oh well.
Thursday I decided to make a list of things around the house. Guns, cameras and computers. I spent nearly all day recording name, model and serial number. I store a copy on my computer and in the cloud.
Yesterday I copied the Tumble weeds story on Castboolits. Boaz begin spinning a yarn last winter and finished it a week ago. He is a great story teller and the staff wants to preserve the story. Somehow. I ended up with 509 pages. It's readable as is but could be better if formatting and grammar checks were applied. I don't know how we are going to put that in one part on the website.
No plans yet this morning, but that will change.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken
good Saturday morning folks. It's 47º and a little windy as the front moves past. I am just finishing up my coffee and getting dressed to go sit in the back treestand for a bit, then I have to work. Have to do the shop for a few hours then run to Manchester MD to cover a gun bingo. Going to be a long day. I will probably hunt a bit tomorrow, if I can get up an hour earlier with the time change.

Well I gotta run. Hopefully the deer will move with this front and temperature drop. Have a good one.

Charlie
Good morning, GoGo. It's 41 in Louisville, going to 60 with sun today. More rain expected next week, then colder weather for the start of our rifle deer season next weekend.

Gotta get some coffee in me and then pick up my deer hunting buddy to set up my ground blind, put out a trailcam and maybe spread some more corn. Hope Charlie sticks a good one this morning with his stick and string.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.
morning all. 32 with mid 40s again today. Woke up at the normal time, elk season starts today. Wind and snow in the air, could make things interesting.
Quick breakfast and wait for a buddy to show up, two elk tags and his son has a deer tag, that one won't be hard to fill anyway.
Finished putting the last tractor away yesterday, only thing out in the weather is the big JD loader and one other smaller loader, will find a place to put them later.
Worked on our road yesterday, tried to fill some mud holes and smooth out some of the washboards, kinda wet to do anything though. Might have made it worse
Better move along, have a good weekend. Prayers for the hurting and our country.
GOD BLESS. Dean
Good morning everyone. Dry this morning but still cold and frosty....definitely not ready for working in the cold. Hopefully this work I have now will last into the winter so I can stay inside. I do have to work outside sometime later to fix some crack in a semi trailer frame, nothing to severe. Until then I'll be welding away on furnace parts.

Jr got me to thinking about IR scopes in one of comments I think and now my attention has been diverted from NV to the IR. Looks like its time to part with some unused toys to fund one. After all the video I have watched the last couple days I'm about ready to pull out the card and get one on order!

If it stays dry this evening I might try to get out and look for some coyotes to a couple places I haven't been yet. I also have a guy that's been almost begging us to come out and try to thin them out around his place.

Well off to make smoke and hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky, and it is a cool, dank, damp, muddy looking morning outside, but it's real nice in here by the woodstove.
Judy Brown is making a Peach pie to take to a small birthday party for her 93 year old Mom. I am waiting around here today for the Damtelephonerepairman to show up who is 2 days late already. I think I need a Was Skruske to come down and help me.

My almost adopted boy Rick tore out the closet floor last evening and we hauled the leaking water heater out in the front yard....like all the rest of the Hillbillys, and ****** out West. I'm right in style now.
Rick is going to the Amish Auction this morning but will be back this evening to replace the floor, wood is on the front porch already and another fella is picking up a new water heater and bringing it out this morning. He gets a big discount as he is a HVAC feller.

My Damcows are still on Grass only but it is rapidly being turned into COW Crap, and it is Not growing back. Hay hauling very soon but I may put it off a few days more.

Shane is getting ready to buy that new Flir NV scope. You watch those YouTube videos and you're hooked. Get'er Done Shane, I can't wait to hear about it.
Ken's wife is distraught.....wives are Always Distraught about something. Thats the way it is.

quick update. No deer were harmed this morning (by me anyway) but I did see 3 bucks and 3 does by 8AM. The bucks were 6-8 points but way too young. One did tempt me but there are bigger ones around. I also saw about 20 turkeys and a big tom cat. If I catch him I'll take him to JR. :D Turkeys were a little far and too many eyes to fool trying to draw a bow. Nice to have them around. They are fun to watch.

Off to work!
