5° here in Upstate NY this morning with a wind chill of -6°, not exactly a heat wave but we are above zero. They say the high temperature for today will be up to about 30°. In view of the past two days that will be like a heat wave.

Well I had to be on the road for part of the day yesterday but the weather wasn't bad. The rest of the day was spent here at home getting caught up somewhat on some gun club business.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Bartonville, 57 and cloudy, high of 64, 20% rain.
Yesterday I drove down to Meachum Field where FIFI is hangered. Camera battery was dead so cell phone had to take it's place. All but two of the pictures were lost when I downloaded them. Just gone.

Not sure what today will bring.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Saturday. Morning

28 degrees and warming up. They’re saying we won’t get back below freezing anytime in the next 10 days. I’ve been clearing out some trees that were too close to the house and big enough to do some damage, if they were to fall. While I was at it, there was an ugly hackberry that had grown up through the electric service lines. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that one myself. Since Judy Brown was unavailable, I called this guy. Clearing brush is on the agenda today.

Make it a good day

Good morning everyone...got up a little late since I didnt go to bed until 2am or after. Started hunting last night about 7 and got one coyote about 9 and then another about 10pm. Should be back at it right now. Heading out in a few. I got this blonde female at about 75 yards or so.

The other coyote was female as well and about the same size. Hopefully we get a few more.

Good to see Koger is doing well...hope everyone has a good day!

Good Morning

17 here in NC Ohio with fog - frozen fog real thick on everything!! It's a joy to make coffee watching Cardinals fight over the feeders. Have a friend coming tomorrow to watch the bowl. So this old bachelor has some serious home work for the next two days. Be safe like Carl did and Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all. 0 this morning, could go either way from there I guess. Hopefully up into the thirties again today.
Running late, slept in, but hey it's Saturday! Chores to do then have to have the Subbie over the hill for a service in the big city by 10:30. Will be pushing time.
Trip to town yesterday went well for a change, got all the parts I went after and they are all right too.
Better get moving, have a great day, good to see it went well for Sam.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning boys. It's 10° here with sunshine this morning. We ended up with about 3 inches of powdery snow yesterday, so I had to plow when I got off work. Did the ole window's and the new neighbor's too. They seem to be a nice couple, and they are keeping the greenhouse so maybe they'll let me start the tomatoes in there. I don't mind those kind of snows, they plow quick and easy. Supposed to be way above freezing the next few days so it should all someway quickly, especially if we get some rain.

Gotta get some coffee in me and throw some more coal on the furnace. Guess I'll make a few eggs for breakfast too. Have to work, but not until noon. Not sure what I'll get into. More prayers for Sam, glad to see he's on the mend.

Have a good one.

Great morning folks,

59° with cloud cover, 72° with cloud cover later here in the trailerhood.

Found an Arizona groundhog while riding about. He did see his shadow.

This one was about 7" long & I believe it to be a Sonoran Tiger Whiptail.

A bigger one was about ten feet away. It was playing shy while it was wedged in a crack. That lizard had a black head that faded to brown with orange bars on its tail. The pic I snapped doesn't show much but poking around on the 'net indicated it is probably a Common Chuckwalla. The one I saw was about a foot long.

Not sure what today's adventure is laying in wait, but I suppose I could go scrounge up some brass.

Good morning all. It's 25 in Indy heading for some of that global warming we hear about. They say low 40s by noon then near 60 the next two days with off and on rain. Gonna' be pretty sloppy.

The man cave has become something of a storage bin during the off season. I used to have to find the loading bench but this year I need to find the floor first. I'm pretty sure it's still there. Might as well get after it.

Y'all have a good day.

It's a fine, sunny morning in Slaughters KY, a few miles south of Evansville IN. John Kruzan and I drove here yesterday for our annual visit to the CRS game preserve and expect tp spend a good part of the day chasing quail. John will undoubtedly shoot many more than I as he's probably the best wing shooter I have ever known. But I will have my share of fun anyway. We made stops on the way up at a couple of gun stores in Bowling Green and the pilgrimage to Whittaker's. Nothing stuck to us other than a couple of t shirts and some shotgun shells and 22 rimfire ammo.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good late morning, GoGo. I'm in Paducah visiting my saintly mother and it's 44, going to 59. Heavy overcast, but I think the rain will hold off, at least today.

My brother is down with the stomach flu, so I guess there won't be any pond fishing on the schedule today. Shame, because it's gonna be really nice and I bet we could coax something into biting. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with watching the University of Louisville play North Carolina here in a couple hours. The Cardinals beat UNC on the Carolina floor about 2-3 weeks ago. Today's game is in Louisville and somebody is gonna be pumped up for revenge. Wouldn't be surprised if we get beat by 20, but you never know.

Everyone have a good day. Carl, I'm glad you practiced what we preach here and hired someone to take out that one dicey tree. Sam, I'm super glad your surgery went well. Did the doc say anything about soaking your bandages in the Damcowfarmer's moonshine? Just a thought.

GOOD Day folks. Way beyond morning time.
Lots going on it seems....Shane is killing Coyotes like he's on fire. Great job, any way you can gettum is good with me. I actually Shot one earlier in the week messing around my cowfield in the daylight hours.
I have snared nothing but a couple Possums but they managed to destroy a couple snares.
I made a trip to the hardware store this morning and bought 60 feet more cable to do some repair.
It's great to hear Sam may be running around soon with a new laig....GOOD luck sir.

Skruske is now working as an illegal migrant picking fruit. May have been Lemons. Next thing you know he will be working for the Border Patrol.
It's nice and warm here today and I have doing some jobs on the Damcow farm.
