12° and quite blustery here in Upstate NY this morning. The high is to get up to about 23° today. They say we may have some scattered flurries today and then tonight.

It was somewhat windy yesterday but it wasn't a bad day for me overall. Not to hectic and I got done what needed to be done.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Bartonville. 36 and cloudy, high of maybe 39. It needs to warm up, my water line froze yesterday and it never got warm enough to thaw.

Not sure what's on tap for today besides some quality computer time.

Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Morning boys. It's 21° here with bright sunshine for now. Looks like thin clouds moving in. Nice to see the days getting longer. Spring is near, but they're calling for snow and ice the next week or so. Going to be chilly today and tomorrow. Have to work at the shop today a bit. Think I'll start redoing the guest bathroom when I get home. Need to poly the woodwork, clean the walls and maybe paint. Miss Sue wants the carpet out and vinyl floors installed. To do that I need to remove the "terlet" and raise the subfloor to match the tile in the hallway. Not a huge project, but will be a pain in the...

Guess I better get moving. Coffee is finally ready. Have a good one.

morning all. 9 here, on the way to 35 with wind later.
Slept in so now running behind, but it's Saturday so that's ok.
Youngest son is on his way from Wisconsin :D haven't seen him for over a year. Too bad his wife has to work but will be nice to have my hunting buddy around for a few days! Should be here some time tomorrow, mid day.
Saw a couple coyotes yesterday but guess they didn't need training, they ran before I could get stopped and out of the pickup.
Better move along, hope to finish up one tractor project today if I don't get side tracked. Moved cows yesterday to their calving grounds and heifers to the corral. Could get calves any time now.
Have a great weekend and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning, GoGo. It's a brisk 17 in Louisville, sunny, and going to 36. While it's sunny today, we're supposed to get 2-3" of rain Monday and Tuesday.

Not much on the agenda today except watching the U of L Cardinals play Florida State at 4 p.m. Should be a good one.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Great morning folks,

46° with some clouds for now and 66° later here in the trailerhood. Cool yesterday morn but warmed nicely by late afternoon.

First thing yesterday Mike & I drove out to the Adair range to partake in the Cholla Gun Club rimfire silhouette shoot.

The ring master was our own JNYork.

Jerry gave us newbs the safety briefing and explained the rules. Mike drew 1st relay on chickens & was shooting his pretty brand new Henry lever action with open sights.

Mike is a good shot & figured out the wind & spotting call quickly. By the time we advanced to pigs, he knocked over 5 in a row earning his first pin.

I was using my Marlin model 57 Lever-magic with Weaver K4. I followed Mike's lead & cleard ed 5 pigs to earn a pin too. He out shot me by one, his 19 to my 18. We hung right in the middle for knock downs though we both had hits that weren't solid enough to count.

The competition was most friendly with some darn nice hardware on the line.

We did enjoy the three hours and the time passed quickly. First thing back in the truck Mike said "Now we got something to do next Friday morning."

I did buy a club patch. It is darn fine looking and will be a nice addition to one of my ball caps.

Morning folks, 24 here headed to 42 today , then 60's on Sunday! Hip is doing well, not too much pain, incision looks good, still have a lot of drainage where they took out the drain, other than that all is good. I quit taking the pain meds. several side effects I don't care for, especially one, MS Contin, which I googled and found out it is Morphine sulfate! The last one took of that, my whole body and head felt numb, and I felt like I was walking about a foot off of the floor! Don't need anything that makes me feel like that when I am on crutches! LOL! I hope everyone has a good day, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out!

20º at sunrise, but up to 29º and like Sam, should make the low 40's later. Not going to accomplish much today as I can tell already. Been to the Home Depot to make some measurements and get some prices, but that's probably the only trip I'll make out today with the possible exception of dinner tonight. I think I may load some brass and maybe turn a few necks, but that's probably about it.

Nice patch Scott!!

G'day Y'all,
Rick

It's a brisk 23 here and still snowing. Supposed to snow for a week. Probably pay back for the nicer weather we had while the folks east of The Rockies got hammered. Not looking forward to putting firewood on the porch. It's not as bad as it used to be since I have a tractor and can load the bucket and stack on top the bucket. With a wheelbarrow it took a couple of hours. Now it takes one hour. Here's couple of pics of the snow.
