28° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature going up to about 35°. We may get a few snow showers today but it won't amount to much.

Yesterday was a busy day where I was on the road most of the day. Today I am going to try and slow down a little but I know I have to be on the road part of the day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Bartonville, Tx. 36 now, high of 44 and rain this afternoon.

We ran some errands yesterday, tried to find a good breakfast cafe without success, yet. There are plenty of eating places but finding one that knows what real breakfast is, and how to fix it is hard to find. All the places are too yuppy. i spent the remainder of the day holding my under-loved tomcat. He missed me while I was in Waseca.

Hope everyone has a blessed Saturday,
Ken

Morning Gents! Its 43º and cloudy here headed for the low 50's with rain moving in again tonight and tomorrow. I spent a couple of days at deer camp, scouting for Turkeys. Did a few sets but didn't get a Coyote or a Bobcat but had fun anyway. The whole Southern part of the State is wet and hard to get around in! You'all have a good one.

morning all. 36  to start a Saturday off, got into the mid 50s yesterday, possible again today but with a storm moving around the wind will blow.
Got 20 new calves yesterday, that puts the count at over 100 for the first two weeks of calving! This warm weather is nice but sure it won't last, always have some more cold and wet stuff.
Whacked another coyote yesterday morning, came out of the cows and I got lucky and hit it, missed the other one though :(. Maybe today.
May go north today to a gun show today and other shopping but have to see what the weather is doing 100 miles north of us first.

Slept in for a bit so better get moving, have a great day. Prayers for the requests!

GOD BLESS. Dean

Good Saturday morning folks. It is 33° here with another inch of sleety snow that fell overnight. I guess I might need to run the snow plow up and down the driveway again, but not before breakfast and a cup of coffee. You're so right Ken. Is it that hard to screw up bacon and eggs? Well yeah if your making the bacon non-fat and putting all kinds of crap in the eggs to make it fancy. And charging $15 a plate.

Have a few chores to do this morning. Need to bring a bit of wood inside for the stove after I plow. Going to be cold next week, and the weatherman said 3-7 inches of snow tomorrow night. Have a gun bingo to work tonight about an hour away. Will be a late night so I told them I wasn't working in the store today. The store will be a mess with all the AR's being picked up. I picked up our granddaughter last night after school and would like to spend some time with her too.

Speaking of coffee and breakfast...gotta go. Have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's a fairly warm 37 in Louisville, only going to 47, which tells me it'll probably be cloudy. Precip coming in sometime tomorrow, expecting 1-2" of snow here.

Last weekend was our BIG gun show here, but there were about 3-4 BIG events at the fairground, so I opted to avoid the crowd. This weekend is a medium-size show, so I'm headed that direction in a bit. Gotta get my looking done by about 1:30 so I can be in front of the TV for a 2 p.m. game between the Wildcats and the Tenn Vols. Should be a good game, with the Vols out for revenge.

Our state legislature just passed a Constitutional carry handgun bill and the governor has said he'll sign it. Those of us with CCW permits are now wondering what this means for us. Seems to me the big issue is reciprocity for those who travel. Permits have been around long enough that it's now fairly clear which states give reciprocity if you have a permit from your home state. My assumption is that the same issue will have to be worked out for Constitutional carry. Do any of you know how that's working in other states that allow concealed carry without a permit?

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

If constitutional carry eliminates the permit cards, then
when you make a purchase you will have to go through the
call in background ck. To that end the Feds have now added
your drivers licenses number info. Its beginning to make me
wonder if that info is discarded ????? Sometimes one should
be careful of what they ask for. LDS

Great morning folks,

About 60° now & going to about 80° later out here east of Yuma.

The doc is gettIng DD fixed up slowly. A little more twisting & she should be better soon.

Yesterday afternoon found us on a roadside watching old cars drive by. BIG car show i Yuma this weekend & we will be taking in the sights. Sure is some interesting iron out here. Back home, because GM employed most everyone, Chevy fills most of the shows. Nice see the creativity with other brands.

GOOD morning from the sticks of Kentucky where the weather guessers have promised a bit of Snow tomorrow. Won't happen here....Maybe up north.
All this talk of Breakfast has made me hungry for a real breakfast. Actually i prefer Waffle House if I'm going to have bacon and eggs type breakfast. You can SEE what they are doing with your food; the last few visits to Cracker Barrel the breakfast was COLD by the time it got to the table. And I don't see the point of paying $9 for cold eggs and bacon.

Ken, I sure would like to see some photos of those Tomcats you keep talking about. Enquiring minds want to know. I haven't even left the house yet so i have no new calves yet? They will arrive next week during the Cold Snap. My calves are strung out all through the year with a cluster this time of year and another one in the summer. Never had one freeze to death in July yet.

Off to check on Damcows and Otis Kat at his house. Where's Skruske? Oh, there he is.

Good morning

39 and headed to 45.
Already been out to run a couple errands this morning. Also Euthanized another raccoon that got its paw stuck in a trap last night.

Reminder to everyone who hunts and fishes in Kentucky. Your license expired yesterday. That always seems to sneak up on me.

Probably going to spend the biggest part of the day adding to next year’s woodpile.

Prayers continued for those in need.

Wyoming has constitutional carry but I still maintain a state issued permit. Constitutional carry only applies inside state lines. Another benefit here is my background checks are more instant than the federal instant background check, I fill out paperwork, pay and pretty much walk out the door.
