65° here in Upstate NY under partially cloudy skies and some fog. The high temperature is going to be up around 86° today under sunny skies. Yesterday the weather was pretty nice, no rain but lots of sunshine. It looks as if the same conditions will be on tap today.
Yesterday was a busy day for me, I got my yard mowed in the morning and then in the afternoon one of the club trustees and I were up to the club working. We got the new metal roof on the old shed which we keep cardboard stored in and his wife another trustee got the grounds and ranges mowed. This morning the VP and I are going up to finish putting the trim on the new shed. I will be glad when it is all done and I can relax and enjoy going to the club to shoot without having to do work for awhile. My wife has to go up and take care of her father again today.
Good morning from Waseca, currently it's 77 and getting cloudy, maybe some rain this afternoon. Another hot, humid day. I am supposed to visit friends at a camp ground near Albert Lea this afternoon.
Yesterday I got the Super Blackhawk completed and the ammo located. My shoulder is getting better and I am looking forward to range time next week.
Hope everyone has a blessed Saturday,
Ken
Good real Saturday AM all. It’s 65 in Indy heading for 85 according to my phone. I remember when phones were just phones and had a wire hooked to ‘em. Guess I’m getting old. No golf today but I will stop by the course to check on a couple things. We’re renting the clubhouse for a family reunion tomorrow. Gotta’ make sure everything is good to go. The bunch from Colorado aren’t coming and my daughter in Michigan isn’t either. She’s doing fairly well but her oncologist suggested she avoid crowds. The CO bunch ain’t leaving home until there’s a vaccine for the Dem/Chinese virus.
Anyway, not much else going on today. Brass, primers, maybe some loading. There’s no such thing as too much ammo.
Off to Lincoln Square Pancake House. Hope I can still say “Lincoln”. Have a good day.
Good morning varmints of all shapes and sizes. It's 69 here with bright sunshine, headed to mid nineties later. Our little drought broke yesterday, I hope. About noon, out of nowhere it started pouring. It dumped over an inch in about 10 minutes. Then another good slug of rain came thru about 3pm. Later, about 9pm we got yet another good soaking. Should help the garden and I'll probably have to start mowing again. Me and Miss Lilliie didn't do a dang thing after work but watched TV till Miss Sue got home. Tor takeout for dinner instead of pur normal date night. Maybe we'll get out tonight? Have to work at the shop for a bit today. Think I'm going to tell them no more Saturdays for me. They dont like it, I'll quit. I miss my weekends.
morning all. 53 to start with high 70s/low 80s today. Still another chance of moisture, rained some last nite about 9:00, haven't been out yet to see how much.
Got the oil changed on my farm pickup yesterday and a couple other little jobs done, along with the normal sprinkler work. Even whacked a few p-dogs along the way.
Gwyn still on the west side of the state.
Need some prayers for our Grandson, Jake. He has been sick for several days, can't hold anything down, in the hospital last night but they still can't find what is wrong. More tests today. Not the virus! Thanks.
Better get moving, running late this morning, could have been still sleeping.
Have a great day.
GOD BLESS. Dean
Mostly clear with just a couple clouds and a 50° start to the day out here in the wiles of Wyoming.
Well we had some visitors yesterday. Walked ten feet from the front door in a gravel campground.
News flash, after moving a couple hundred yards & getting the usual trailer chores done, I relaxed most of the rest of the day.😇
Not sure what adventure waits for us today. Doug's wife has CCW class today so we will be spending the helping contain two rambunctious grandsons. Pond fishing might be on the agenda.
Morning Gents! Its 75º and cloudy headed for the low 90's with a small chance for rain.
I finally got my tractor moved over to my Son's place yesterday. Got about 25% of his place mowed. My buddy started discing 2 ponds on his tractor. Between the two of us we had a decent size dust cloud going!
More tractor work for today. Buying that Kubota with a cab was one of the smartest things that I have ever done. I don't dread getting on it like I used to on the old one that I had. There are a few places at Deer Camp that I can't get under but its sure nice being in the A/C and out of the dust.
We have about a dozen cases of the Covid here in town. The Wife and I are trying to stay out of the public as much as possible.
75° here this morning and some grass is going to be mowed before the sun gets too high in the sky. My nephew got married last night. Nice ceremony but things just weren’t the same as the regular hillbilly wedding. Some folks wore masks while others did not. Some practiced social-distancing while others did not. Throw in a bunch of white people dancing and it got downright awkward at times. They are both in their mid-twenties with good educations and good jobs and we wish them well.
I placed a Midway order on Thursday and it looks like it will Be here today. I sure wasn’t expecting to receive it this early.
Speaking of too much ammo Doug..... I will never forget what Danny Hensley said one time at Buck Creek. “ There are only 2 times when you can have too much ammo ..........when you are drowning or when you are on fire”.
You never know what you’re gonna learn at the BBB.
Mornin boys..
Phone says its 68 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Slep in this morning and it was needed. Helped my brother put
gutter on 2 houses yesterday. 1 was.a.buddy of mine and I told him
I'd help. The other I thought was just a peice...yeah, the whole thing...
Didn't get home til 7:30 ... Nice day off work...lol
We've had some pretty bad storms the last few days in spots
of the county but nothing much in other spots.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...
Good morning from NC Ohio where the day started at 65 going mid 90'. I went out at 6:30 and pulled weeds, dug several buckets of dirt for aa new flower bed. I just now came in to hide from that big fiery ball in the sky. real hot out there already, so I'm done for the day. Jake will be added to my Prayers along with some water for Dean. Prayers for all against the evils we face and this great country. Mike
Good morning, GoGo. It's 74 in Louisville, going to 92 with high humidity. We did have some rain this past week, so gardens and lawns are in decent shape.
Scott, when you put the words Doug and CCW in the same sentence, it confuses me. It's hard to imagine Doug doesn't have his CCW, so is he teaching now or what? I think pond fishing with grandsons would make for a wonderful day.
Charlie, if they're just paying you $10 an hour at that gun shop, you definitely need to get your Saturdays back.
JR, the Not F'ing Around Coalition and the Three Percenters are both in town today, so there might be some entertainment around noon. The cops, of course, will be caught in the middle, with their hands shackled. Sad.

This new format does not like to be edited and my travel tablet is over zealous about sentence/spelling changes.
Doug has had is carry permit since he lived in Michigan, over 10yrs ago. He maintains a Wyoming permit even though Wyoming is Constitutional carry. They travel enough & don't want to get jammed up in other states because of government permits. His wife Danielle is taking the training with three friends so they can obtain permits and travel while legally armed.
Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky. The 606 part.
I just finished Refluffing a field of damp hay, hopefully can get it raked and rolled today, but may get another half inch of rain. Man, it sure made the other hayfields green up. Middle son may be here in time to help????
Pseudodamgrandkid is here....his mom is moving her crap out of Jackson's house. Nother one to move In? Only way to get one out it seems. New GF is 25 I think....Jackson turns 40 next week. Damn Tomcats.
Guess he took after JB.
Lightman, I couldn't do this farming stuff without a cab tractor, but have 2 without it. One just got a canopy put on it.
Late morning check in guys, 81 headed to 85, humid as all get out. Got three of the hardest rains i have ever seen last night and this morning. The metal roof sounded like a jet taking off, roaring it seemed. Oh well we need the rain. Loaded 10 rounds each of some 6.5 Grendel,85 HPs and 120 SPs, will try them out today. ;You all have a good one, prayers for those that need them, Buff out.
Yeah Mike, my time is definitely worth more than that. I've done without weekends now for about 17 years there I think. Time to get some R&R. Heck I used the boat 1 time this year so far, not counting vacation. I spoke with the bosses today and they understand where I'm coming from. They weren't mad and thanked me for all I do for them. I really wanna quit altogether, but even though I only get $10/hr, I don't want to lose the discount I get. Thru the years that really adds up. Guns, ammo, fishing and boating stuff ain't cheap. I still need to support my habits.
Well, the Not F'ing Around Coalition was protesting in Louisville today and they didn't F around. Sometime very early in the gathering there was an accidental discharge withiin the group and three people were shot. From what others have said of their armament the damage may well have been .22LR, who knows? I haven't seen much on TV about any organized counter protest groups, although there was plenty of talk about it prior to today. Reminds me of little kids on the schoolyard yelling back and forth and making threats.
LOL...
Yep, AD and 3 goes to the hospital...
1 of them said accidents happens...
