Well.....it's morning...

0330 here and can't sleep.

Downside: Fighting a cold. Have to get wife up at 0500 so she can go to work. Starter went out in truck, have to crawl under that later (once it warms up).

Upside: Wife has to go to work.:) I don't have to go to work.:D Just might go back to bed.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Mornin doc!

Pictures would be nice! Always welcome! It is nice of you to invite some of dem RANGE RATZ to shoot wid ya, doc. At least they'll get a leeeetle practice under their belts before their azz whoopin in May...and MAY ain't that fer off neither!! It will be time to drag out some paint balls again and practice at them in the wind soze we can keep up wid y'all. And, let's not fergit dem Hicks n Chicks!

Well, back to the wet stuff today. Was a balmy 40 degrees for a spell...No more of that for a while!

It's feast or famine 'round here...Gone from no work to trying to hire a buncha help in the next few days to get what all is being dropped on my lap done! It's a good problem to have, so I'm NOT complaining!

I see the ol RAT has not checked in. He could sure use some beauty sleep, so I won't wake him just yet...well...ah...WAKE UP U OL' PHARDT!! (Ahhh...I feel better now:D )

Well, put the hairs on some hair! The coyotes just finished a rousing song - sounded like they were just down range - must be a dozen or more.

Have a good un!

Good Morning Doc & Tha GGVG Gang

A goooooooooooooooooooood morning to everyone from a much warmer
Southern, KY. 41.9* here this morning. Well looks like 1/2 of the "Tennessee
Robots" is up and attum (Old Bird Dog is missing again). I see that my old
nemesis "Tha Old Grey Rooster" (AKA Paul Workman) is up struttin around
in his barn yard a crowing before daylight this morning. Maybe one of his
neighbors will come over and wring his neck and put him in the frying pan
for lunch today ! Probably be much too tough to eat anyhow.
Rooster, as fer azz whoopins, you just remember the age old parable about
tha sun & tha dogs derrie. ;) Speaking of practice, reckon I am gonna go
over to Buck Creek and get in a little more trigger time with "Tha Range
Rats" this morning. Told ya Rooster, I am gonna burn up tha range this
time before the BBB, so lack of trigger time will not be an allowable excuse.
 Got the frame for the canopy on tha War Wagon painted, and
re-installed yesterday. Waiting on tha Canvas Shop to do the canopy in
a few days. Gotta have some good sturdy shade for tha 2007 PD Safari.:D
I mean after all, cannot have "City Boy"(AKA Ky Fisherman) out in that hot
South Dakota sun for hours on end. Besides, Rooster, Cliff, Grant, Rick
or someone else might want to shoot in tha shade a little. Hope each of you
has a great day today (you too Rooster). God Bless.........

No range time for me today, but I'm heading up to Indy to get a new pipe for my Salvage .223, the better to whack rats with, and to visit with Doug Roberts! Should be a fun day! Love a good road trip!

Well, U never heard ME complainin' bout that War Wagon! That is some fine shootin, to be sure; the Caddy of PD poppin - at least for the fixed bench/long range style that is my first love (although Rick's "drive by" style was a LOT of fun - specially with the little Bullberry 17 Mach IV T/C!!:D )

Is is May yet?
