I was switching stocks on my 12 FV and the follower and sprong dropped out before I could see which direction it goes in the magazine. Please take a look and tell me it the raise portion of the follower is to the left or right. It is a right handed rivle.

In both my Savages, 10FP and 11FNS, the magazine follower has the raised portion on the left side. Loading (and ejection) are on the right. LOL and good shooting.

Groove

There should be a groove in the plastic follower that lines up with a bump in the magazine box.

HMMMM?? There is no box, the follower spring just rested in a blind cavity in the stock ??
