The last time I had a scoped handgun was with a small diameter Bushnell handgun scope with the built in rail mount in the 70's. I ended up buying some handgun mounts along with a box of gunparts at an estate sale. There was a mount for a Ruger single action in there. So I used it on this Ruger Bisley 41 mag with a Simmons 2-6 power. An excuse to shoot it again anyway.

Ruger Bisley

I got out and shot the 41 mag for first time today with the scope mounted as the weather was in the 40's. Shot some fairly mild 240 grain reloads with cast bullets. The scope mount never moved and the $100 Simmons 2-6 is a nice scope for a lower end scope. The eye relief is good with the arm fully extended. I just shot it at 25 yards but it did very well. The only other 41 mag I have had was a Smith and Wesson model 58 4 inch but sure like the Ruger single action better for shootability.
