Anyone here use Shooters World powder, looking for some load data.
Well I have 4lb's, Tactical, Blackout, Match and Precision and I am wanting to load 45gr in .22hornet, 50gr in .223, 110gr in .300blackout and 150gr in .308 I have the Shooters World data of their site the Lovex data off their site(parent company) and I even emailed the ballistics guy at Shooters world. Out of all this I have come up with a whopping three loads that I can use.Hey Longcarbine. What caliber are you wanting to load for. Found a bit of data.
Apparently Lovex which is the parent company of Shooters World powder used to make Accurate powder and I have read where this certain SW powder compares to this certain Accurate powder and I realize that an experienced reloader could probably sit down, compare the burn rates and so on and figure out some good loads. But I am a beginner at reloading and to be honest I would just as soon not blow my face off jackassin' around at something I know nothing about, I want some cold hard loading data to go by and this company has very little of that. What I should have done is spent my money on Hogdon or some other well established brand. Having said all this, the people I have talked to who have used Shooters World powder have been very pleased with it, my only problem is that I cant find any data on the caliber and bullet combinations that I want to reload.I found the Tactical powder was very similar to H-335. Maybe just a touch hotter, so maybe load a half grain less. Good starting point anyway.
