How many Snipe could a swamp rat snipe if a swamp rat could snipe Snipe?

Exactly eight a day, every day, Oh do daw day. ;-)

I had another late go of it today and didn't get down to the fields until after noon. I was field testing Neds, Beretta Onyx that I just replaced ejector springs and pins in and tightened up the cocking levers. It is a joy to handle but after carrying the .410 yesterday it seemed to swing slow for me and I had my share of misses. I intend to give it another try tomorrow to see if I can get the kinks straightened out and get my average back above 50%. Just when I think I've got all the bases covered these twisting little birds throw me a curve. Todays count puts me at 66 devil darts for the season.

Hello John, Looks like .....Your having a ball, I do remember those little devils darting around like no other bird I have ever hunted. If people havnt seen them its hard to explain but you must be a pretty good shot to have that average. I wont tell ya what mine was.

Snipe..

I like them pointy beak little devils much more than woodcock. More fun to hunt and I think better table fare.
