Don’t get me started. Both my daughters worked their butts off. One only borrowed for her masters and is in good shape the other was in a very intense nursing program but worked the hours the school allowed. She was debt free with in a year. We helped with insurance cell phones and they lived at home. Is uncle Joe going to reimburse them for being responsible.
Good question Gabriel. What senile Joe and his gang of miscreants are going to do is reward them for being responsible by making them pay back the loans of the irresponsible ones.
I'm another that doesn't need to get started about this. Responsible people pay their debts. It was the way my parents were raised, the way they raised me and the way we raised our Sons. Those people were loaned that money in good faith, they need to do the responsible thing and pay it back.
The Wife and I payed cash as you go for 2 college educations. When the youngest Son went back to school to become a Nurse Anesthetist we were closing in on retirement and doing the catch-up thing with my retirement savings so he used student loans. He paid them all off within 2 years.
