19° here in Upstate NY this morning under fair skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 41°. There will be increasing clouds throughout the day with a wind of 5 to 8mph.

Yesterday was a day spent at home, we ended up with about 3" of snow accumulation. I cleaned up around here in the morning and took it easy for the rest of the day. I did do a little gun club business but that was it. Today I am going to spend the day loafing.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy and 27, that is the day.
Daily snow showers this week. We're staying home today and watching the sermon on TV. She did too much Friday and spent yesterday in pain. Gotta take it easy.
We're going to rest the remainder of the day.
Hope everyone has a blessed Sabbath,
Ken

Mornin boys...
38 and rain here high on RUGER Mt this morning. The rain just started a few minutes ago. Supposed to have a 99% chance all day. Ground is wet already so looks like mud will be around awhile.
Didn't do much yesterday, redone a ting or 2 with the sewer pump first thing then went to the pawnshop and shot the bull.
Probably rest today and watch bb.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

22 frosty degrees here, maybe headed as high as the upper 30's. We made it to near 40 yesterday and lots of melting took place. Weather guessers are still not putting possible accumulations to this upcoming storm and that's not a good thing usually. Means they don't know where it's going yet, but they are beginning to hype the power outages possible.
Since I can't do a darn thing about it, I guess I'll just concentrate on today and figure out what's going to happen around here. And right now I don't have a plan for that either so I'll hit the send button and call it good.
Hope you all have a better plan than me and enjoy your Sunday

Great morning folks,

Clear with 52° now and gaining enough to get to 82° later here in GrandkidvilleUSA.

To recap, the trip down I-26 was a big mess and added over an hour to our travel time. We arrived Saturday morning rather than Friday night.

After setting up, the whole bunch of us headed off to the county fair over in Stark FL. I must say, having been cooped up inside for the winter, the clowns were out in full force. Either that or the way folks dress in 2023 has changed to more accurately reflect the government we are living under.

I'm told we are going flea marketing today. Might stop by the new Sportsmans Warehouse too. I expect my wallet will get violated there as their online inventory shows they have primers in stock.

morning all. 28 with mid 40s and we have some sort of white stuff on the front step this morning, not much though.
Busy day with the cows again, Gwyn helped me get some of the chores done, had to haul a bunch of wheat for the chickens, should be set there for a while.
Had to get a cow in that the calf hadn't nursed yet, boss man got to practice his wild cow milking!!!
Better get around, don't want to waste our new found extra hour of day light. Have a blessed Lords' day. Give Him praise and thanks for everything.
Prayers for those with health issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning gents. It's snowing and 34 in Indy. Snow should give way to rain shortly and we're supposed to get into the forties. Sig made it through the night without incident until Trey got everybody up wanting to go out about 4:00. They both went out and did their business. When they came back in, Sig tried to get up onto the bed but he had to have a boost. Julie helped him up and he curled up against me until the alarm clock went off.

You can't tell much by looking out the window but there's a rumor that we're supposed to be saving daylight now. It was dark when I arrived at the pancake joint. Almost like night ya' might say.

IU played like a halfway decent high school team yesterday. Unfortunately, they were playing against a halfway decent D1 college team. Bad equation! Now all they can do is wait to see if/where they'll end up in the NCAA tournament. Go Purdue.........I guess.

New doggy dad out. Have a good day.

32° here with a very light dusting of snow overnight and they say we won’t get out of the 30’s for the next 3 days. Had a long, cold day of outdoor work yesterday but it was productive and I was glad to get it done before the temperatures dropped further. Lunch with the family is planned at one of my favorite local establishments today. It is in celebration of my birthday, which was 2 months ago but we haven’t been able to coordinate us all together until now. A couple family members leave for Arizona next week so, today is the day. I’m sure it will be fun and the grandkids will be at our house afterward.
Glad to hear you made it safely to the new temporary home Scott. Be on the lookout for “FloridaMan”. By the way, when our local Sportsman’s Warehouse had primers in stock, you were limited to only 200 per person, per day. It was right on my way home from work so I would stop in and pick up 200 nearly every day. Also, if there were multiple people with you, each person could get 200. At that time, they were selling Cheddite shotgun primers for $5.60 per 100.
I shared JR’s pictures yesterday with my in-laws. They are a family of cat-lovers and they were quite impressed with the way he honored Otis. They’ve all had dozens of cats over the years and it brought back memories of that ONE special cat that each of them had once.
Good luck to Charlie in OK. Whack EM and stack em.
Make it a good day.

Morning all, 44 headed to 49 for a gloomy damp high. Not a lot accomplished yesterday, the wife and I went riding around, ended up in Somerset and at King Bufett for lunch, and then over to Harbor Freight for some stuff needed around the farm, left there $100 lighter. Nothing on the agenda today, may clean a truck out this afternoon, Church this morning in a few.. You all have a good one, prayers for those that need them, Buff out.

Morning Everyone!

Its 48º and cloudy here headed for the mid 50's with a lite South wind.

Yesterday was a busy day. The oldest Son and Grandson came over and helped (they did most of it) me organize the attic. The house has a steep roof which makes for a roomy attic and about 1/3rd of its floored. It has a real stairway going up to it vs a folding ladder. Most of the stuff was gun boxes and seasonal decorations with a scattering of other stuff. We watched the Razorback Baseball Team beat Louisiana Tech on tv. The weather that they kept calling for yesterday didn't get here until after dark. At one time I had 8 different warnings, watches and alerts on my phone. I sat up until it passed through. Made for a late night.

Not much planned for today. After a late night babysitting the storm I'll probably try to catch a nap before the Razorbacks play at 1:00.

A boy that works for my Son sent me a 6.8 Westerner Cartridge for my collection. Its a nice looking cartridge, a bottleneck cartridge with a straight body and sharp shoulder. It looks like it could easily be part of the WSM family!

Prayers offered for those with needs and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

Morning all, DST and all. It is grey and overcast now, 32F headed to mid 40's, and we got about 1" of snow/sleet mix last night. Everything is covered in white and looks like a winter wonderland. Yuck. Breakfast is gone and I will need a nap to make up for the lost hour later. Need to work on taxes and get ready for a busy week upcoming with doc visits. Be safe and keep warm.

37° and rain with 53° for a high.
Came out to the living room this morning and sat down on the couch. It was warm where I normally sit. That means the dog has been sleeping up there. He knows that if he’s not on my lap, he’s not supposed to be on the couch. I guess we’re going to have to bring the broom out again. He hates the broom. Lay it on the couch at night, problem solved. Half the time he sleeps on the hard plastic of his crate. I put carpet in there and he drug it out, and lay back down in it. May look at alternatives. He’s got a couple places to lay they should be comfortable.
Hope you are having a good day of rest.
Oh! and Donnie don’t chew your finger nails. 😬

Morning gang, it's 30* here and looks like overnight we got rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain, it's a mess. I slept in this morning till about 0900, I worked at the Country Store yesterday and didn't realize I probably shouldn't have, I was still a little weak form the lung biopsy on Thursday. I'm taking it easy today, I guess that's about all for now, you all have a good and safe one today. God Bless,

48 with heavy clouds, won't get much warmer and will be colder for most of this week. Sounds like the weather is similar or worse everywhere in the east except FL. Didn't accomplish a lot yesterday. Repaired a sawzall that I use frequently for lots of stuff, loaded 60 rounds of 6 PPC and baby sat the dogs as Tarcila was in zoom meetings and the dogs needed to be kept quiet. Worked well for the most part and I managed a nap. Starting late today and don't have any urgent things to do, print this week's work., maybe load some more ammo, coating bullets as I type this. Have to speak to the guys who were supposed to shoot yesterday's match. Must not have had any serious problems as no one has called. Club meeting to morrow night and meet with the board after. Not looking forward to any of it.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Great Sunday to you all 37° and very cloudy here in the northern Ozarks. Supposed to be partly cloudy and 47°, the forecast for this afternoon. Doug goes to the Pancake house for breakfast, the wife and I meet some friends at a local restaurant for Sunday breakfast, but today is also my birthday. I was born on this date in 1945.

Sam Koger you are not the only one who can take a header, I got up from my recliner yesterday afternoon and bumped the table beside my chair with my cane and it wound up in front of my right foot which tripped me I fell all the way across my living room, before I hit the floor jammed both wrists and that added to the RA makes it feel real good, but tore the skin on my elbow without tearing my shirt sleeve. Didn't hit anything with the elbow except the carpet but tore a gash about 2.25 inches in a half moon shape long on my elbow. Soaked my sleeve with blood. I am really sore and stiff today, but I can't wait for tomorrow.

Many prayers for those in need, even me. Good Lord bless each and everyone here and this country, we all need it. You all have a great day and a week ahead. Walk in God's footsteps, have a great week.

Good day folks. Notice I didn't say morning. I don't know WTF time of day it is. This hog hunting is serious business. We slept in yesterday, had a big breakfast then butchered Larry's hog. Glad we ate. No lunch or dinner. Met at the farm and hunted 3pm to 10...well it was MIDNIGHT before we got out of there. Nobody killed. I saw one, didn't come to feeder and I couldn't see thru night vision because of the tree limbs in the way. Useless. We had a helluva lightning show for 3 hours or more. Lightman probably had it with rain. We were far away but the lightning as crazy. I did see some cooons and a couple possums on the halfshell (armadillo). They are freaky on the thermal monocular!

Anyway, as we are leaving the farm at 12:15am, the hog lady sends us pics. Two of the feeders we just left had hogs on em. One was mine. Missed it by 1/2 hr. So wemade plans to meet at 5:30 AM. Got back at 1am, turned the clocks ahead and set an alarm for 5. That left us 3 hour's sleep. Well at 4am, hog lady wakes us all up to make sure we're meeting at 5:30???👨‍🎤 So with 2 hour's sleep we went back out. Hogs were on the feeder where I was to go already, but we got there and they were gone. Nobody saw any pigs. I saw a nice 8 pt buck, still had both sides. Get back, another text. Hogs were on one of the feeders we weren't at this morning.

So, time for a quick nap, shower and late lunch in a bit, then we head out for the last hoorah. Hunting 5-9 and that's a wrap. We're giving it our all. Somebody's gotta catch a break.

Oh, and this place is COVERED in coyotes. 4 different packs were howling last night at once. Had em less than 100 yards several times and haven't seen one yet! This place is THICK and nasty cover.

Good night, or whatever time you're following. I sure don't know.

Have a good one.

Charli
