18° here in Upstate NY this morning with a dusting of snow on the ground and overcast skies. The high temperature fior today will be up to about 30 ° with a 30% chance for snow showers and wind of 15 to 18mph.

When Rusty and I went out this morning a bear had visited and knocked my bird feeders down so I will have to put them back up when it comes light, they must be up early this year. Yesterday we went to my Great Granddaughter's birthday party which was very nice. My oldest Granddaughter has found out she is going to have another girl. That means I will have four Great Granddaughters in time. Today I plan on taking life easy, I hope.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca where it's 8 degrees, high about 40. We are going to church today. We stayed home the last two weeks due to my wife's shoulder.
She had her friends over yesterday for a hen party. I kept busy at the computer. It was too cold in the basement to stay there very long.
The new boiler does not put out residual heat like the old one. I am going to have to figure out how to warm the two rooms down there. The single radiator in one room is not up to the task. I can get a larger electric space heater or install another radiator. Both are costly.
Glad to get back to church. ,
Hope everyone has a blessed Sabbath,
Ken

21 here with a light dusting of snow from overnight flurries. Looks like we're also headed to the low 30's, along with some wind for the day. Looks like an indoor day. Yesterday I spent some time pawing through and organizing some stuff. Darn stuff is multiplying, I think. I did find 3 boxes of 357 I didn't remember loading or having. Date on the loading info is 1997! I think I better find some time to fire that off and fill them back up.
Stove is toasty, breeze is blowing and I'm going to be a slug today.
I hope you all have a good day.

morning all. 11 with low 40s later and breezy, getting ready for windy week...again.
Mostly chores and cow watching yesterday, ended up with five new babies yesterday in the bunch I watch, nice weather yesterday for new ones.
Went to a neighbors garage sale yesterday, got a used top tool box for the hobby shop, been watching for one and this one will work good and cheap too.
Also bought some 6x6 beams to build Gwyns' greenhouse on. They should hold it down so the wind doesn't blow it away. And Gwyn bought some garden supplies.
Worked some in the shop on the little red tractor too.
Better get, have a great Lords' day, give Him praise and thanks for all we have. Prayers for those in need.
GOD BLESS. Dean.

Good Sunday morning fellers, it's 16* with some snow overnight, they say the high is only going to 30*.. I worked at the Country Store yesterday the sun was out but the wind made it feel much colder than 45*. I have two Dr appointments this week and another CT scan. Kate and I are going to church here shortly so I better get moving, have a good and safe one today. God Bless,

Morning Everyone!

Its 27º and clear here headed for the low 40's with a lite NW wind.

Yesterday afternoon the Wife and I were invited to meet the oldest Son and his family at the Country Club Lounge to watch the Razorbacks play. The Baseball team won over Auburn 9 to 3 and the Basketball team won over Kansas 72 to 71 in the final seconds. It was fun but my chair at home is more comfortable. and cheaper..................

Not much planned for today. We plan to watch the Razorback Baseball game after while and thats about it. I'm still waiting on the 9mm bullets that I ordered last week so it looks like no 9mm's will get loaded this weekend.

The Sun is shining and the Birds and Squirrels are wearing out the feeders! It looks like we have Bluebirds moving into one of our houses for the first time forever!

And a late Congratulations to Mrmurl and his Bride!

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

25 with clouds and the odd snow flurry in the hollow this morning. We might make 40 this afternoon. Pretty sure any blossoms left from Friday night are frozen off now. In spite of what some folks apparently think I don't believe there is much that can be done with the weather other than deal with it. Forecast in the south is for a warmer than usual spring after we get past the current stuff. The dogs and I had a pleasant trip to Dry Branch where I dropped off a check and some target stands for the turkey hunters to use for patterning. The rest of the day was spent with them on the couch. We were all pretty much worthless. Tarcila is back at the zoom meeting this morning, but should finish by noon. Til then it's me and the dogs on the couch and watching the birds out the window. What a life!

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning from Indy. It’s 20 heading for 40….they guess. Got a little snow overnight. I reckon it will melt quickly.

Got a heads-up from JR about primers in stock at American Reloading (thanks Joe) and ordered 5K SP last night. Not cheap but available and a lot less than current prices. Those and the 4K I had might hold us for a while. Weather has kept the danger wimmens off the outdoor range and saved several hundred. That said, I'll be loading some this morning before the games come on.

I've been thinking about thinning the .45 ACP herd here and mentioned it to one of the other retired cops at breakfast yesterday. Told him I would like to have a Glock Model 22. He said he has two Model 22s and thought he needed the Model 30 I want to shed so I think we're doing a trade tomorrow. I bought the 30 from a another buddy years ago and haven't shot it much. His Model 22 was issued to him by IPD so you know it hasn't been shot a lot. Deal!

Older son, Chris, joined me for breakfast at the pancake joint this morning. He and the golfing grandson are heading over to Columbus, OH for the Michigan St vs Marquette game this afternoon. They don't really care who wins but Chris gets free tix to various events now and then and it's a chance for some good father/son time together. One of the perks of working for a huge construction outfit, I guess. Lotta' people courting their business.

Loading, napping, TV watching me. That's today in a nutshell. Have a good day.

Morning boys. It's 21 and sunny, getting near 40 later. I won't be doing nuffin' cept fill the wood stove until it gets a little warmer. Still some yard work and wood to cut up.

Yesterday I worked on the wisteria bush on the arbor out front. Took most of the old, heavy stuff out and thinned it up a bunch. The weight and the wind had it all cattiwampus. After I trimmed it up, I got the truck an tow strap around it and pulled it back up as best as I could. Still outta whack but better. Added a few braces on a 45 to help keep it up. It'll help a little.

Last night we worked a gun drawing. Good crowd and they were spending money. Food was great. Pit ham, beef, and turkey. Those firemen can cook!

Well I need to relax a bit and keep warm. Prayers offered.

Morning all, 23 heading to 37 for the high, warming up to 52 tomorrow. I put a scope on a 17HMR for a guy and zeroed it for him yesterday, Savage, shot pretty dang good but wind sure can blow them around. We went to town and did some errands, errands ended up getting 10 rolls of sausage off of my buddy, then went by the Mennonite store and got Pulled Pork toasted sandwiches for late lunch, and as usual, they were top notch, barely could eat all of mine and finish a Pepsi. We are heading to church in a few minutes, a few big snow flurries floating by now I noticed. You all have a great day, prayers for those that need them and our nation, Buff out.

Morning all. Bright and sunny right now, not a cloud in the sky. Clear and cold 17F earlier headed to 35F or so. Too cold and windy to do anything, so I will hibernate another day. Just the usual for the rest of the day. Probably watch a movie or a BB game to see how many more bracket busters will occur. Be safe and keep warm.

You watch yourself on that pistol trade, Doug. You know how dealing with retired cops can go. Count your fingers when you shake hands.
My only worry is whether or not he actually has what he said he has. He’s a typical city cop. Not sure which end of the gun to hold onto. 😂

43° and going to mid 50° later with a chance of rain.
My oldest granddaughter Lumen is 3 today and we are headed out soon for an extended family brunch/ party. She is pretty entertaining. She thinks it is great fun to call her mom Julia. Last night she looked my wife right in the eye as only a little kid can and said, what is your name? My wife said, Mary Ann and what is Papas name. Lumen just looked at me and shrugged. I told her Lee, she said oh and went back to eating pizza. Counts to 10 with ease but somehow has ten fingers on one hand. 😊 I love being Papa.
