70° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature for the day going up to about 95°. It was hot yesterday but we had a decent breeze and it made it bearable. Today the breeze is going to die down so it will be worse.

We took the new bench rests up to the club range yesterday afternoon and them all positioned. We are done with that project now and I am very happy with the way it turned out, great improvement.

Going to church this morning, a friend has a problem with a laptop that she wants me to bring home. I may or may not work on it today but I am not going to do much else.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Waseca, 72 and rain. Going to be hot and very wet today as a massive storm is covering west and central Iowa along with southern Minnesota. Serious overnight flooding in Des Moines, with water nearly going over the top of the emergency spillway at Saylorville.

Of course we are packing the RV and headed to Des Moines today, the plan is spend the week at Cherry Glen Campground at Saylorville. At least it's on high ground.
Along the way we need to stop and see my father as I have not been there for a few months.

2008 was the last time Iowa got this much rain, seems to happen about every 10 years.

Hope everyone has a Blessed Lord's Day, thank Him and enjoy the day of rest,
Ken

Great morning folks,

Currently 74° with a clear sky and we will get to the upper 90's later here near Halfway USA.

Yesterday was spent inside for a bit then outside for a bit. I'll probably poke around in the garage for a bit. DD has it in her head that we need to "organize" the garage.

I'll be standing at the drill press a bit. Just a bit more aluminum to remove from a lower receiver.

Good Sunday Morning

Morning George, Ken and others to follow. Its 69 now heading to scrogeville again, shouldn't complain it could be a lot worse such as the fires out west. My Prayers for the people that have lost, health issues and the brave fire fighters. I myself have major issues with this weather so time to set back and stay inside. Today give Praise to the one that gives us so much, Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all. 50 here low to mid 80s later.
SMOKEY … the wind changed to NE late yesterday and brought the smoke from the wild fire down on us. I've stayed inside since, but have to get out and check sprinklers before we head to town for church and wally world.
The fire is now over 41000 acres, not sure how many homes are gone but some of our friends have lost theirs :( Lots more evacuations yesterday on both east and west sides. Could get within a couple miles of us real soon.
Hard on my lungs that's for sure. Please pray for the firefighters and the ones that have lost homes.
Better get around, will take longer this morning to check things out, can't see more than 3/4 of a mile out there.
Have a very blessed Lords' day, give Him thanks and praise for all we have.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning varmints. It's 69° here with sunshine and humidity. Going into the 90's again. Not much on the agenda other than washing the boat and putting fishing stuff away. Good day to wash the boat. Wish I had a couple of Volkitten types to do it for me though. Would be more fun.:D Speaking of Volkittens, how about checking in Doc? We miss you. Might put the mower deck back on after a quick servicing and run over the yard. Other than that, I think I'll relax a bit.

Prayers sent Dean. Have a good one gang.

Good hot sunny morning from the sticks of Kentucky. It was a scorcher yesterday and will be worser today. Bad, worse, and Worser.
I captured another **** night before last and took him to the Mt Vernon lake and released him to crap in coyote George's water supply. T hats 15 miles so maybe he won't walk back here.
#2 Son and damgrandkid were...are here and fireworks were shot into the air last night. That should help the Chinese economy.

I hauled some more rock to line a ditch yesterday, the Damcows have about dug a post out of the ground. Bouncer the Kat and I drove the Polaris Ranger up to the creekbottom that I still need to repair the fence. Bouncer loves to ride the Ranger, but not particularly across the creek with water going through the floorboard. I have to go saw up a tree today that fell across the trail where it goes across the creek. More work. And more work.

Greyfox, captain Jesse is in Scotland for a few days checking out the old distilleries. Doug Roberts, he is going to play Golf at the course where it was invented. Little wifey is very pregnant now and not feeling the best I suppose. Skydiving has been put on hold till she pops the baby out. Shit be different then.

Judy Brown has returned but left the engine running in her Toyota.....I'm sure she will blast off somewhere very soon. Me. I'm just watching Damcows. Had 4 new ones last week, as they are scattered out all year. Makes it easier on the Dambulls.

Good morning.62 on the way to 80 here today.

Lots of fires going here. Smoke is thick for miles. It’s seems like the fire season never ends. People displaced, homes burned, its rough going.

Enjoy your day and be careful out there.

Slept in all the way 'til 6:00. Was already steamy and in the mid-70's. Humidity is very high and the temp will get into the 90's. Still beats the hell out of January.
Got a few things done yesterday; packages mailed, grass got cut, $$ collected, paperwork emailed and the rest of the 20 VT loaded. It is absolutely certain that I have far more ammo than I will need for PD Safari 18 Phase II. Today's agenda involves some weed killing, a little work on the filter for my wife's fishpond/waterfall and some trigger/action work among other things.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Finally got home yesterday after over a month of running around the country. Saw some nice things but its good to be home again. Did anyone miss me? :D

Since July is here, in another couple of weeks the motorcycle traffic will pick up to disgusing levels and will stay that way for several weeks after the yearly big shindig turns sleepy little Sturgis into SD's largest city for a couple of weeks.

Oh. Its a pleasant cool morning here today but its supposed to get hotter in the afternoon. Maybe an afternoon showeer to raise the humidity up a bit. Se La vie.

Good morning

Good morning all. It's 88 at 11:30 heading for 93 in Indy. Great day to be off the golf course. Our AC has run continuously for several days now. May be shutting down overnight but I doubt it. Supposed to be cooler tomorrow, only 88 for the high.

JR, I assume you're talking about The Old Course at St. Andrews. The mecca of golf! That's beyond bucket list stuff. Scotland does illustrate how goofy golf is. The game was invented by men who wear skirts and think the sound bagpipes make is music.

I hear the B17 going over as I type. Can't mistake that sound! It's flying out of the Greenwood airport just south of us.

Not much else going on here today. Have a good'n.
