63° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature they say will be about 76°. We may well get some more rain today, the chance of rain is 50% with showers and possibly thunderstorms this afternoon. It rained off and most of the day yesterday.

I went up to the gun club yesterday morning to repair a couple of things and it was ok when I got there and then we had a shower. It was strange you could drive along and it would be raining, then all of a sudden the sun was out in another area a mile away.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning, it's 61 in Waseca and clear. High of 84 with 91% humidity. Ugg.
Church this morning then my daughter is fixing a late dinner at 2pm. Not much planned after that.
Need to get ready to go to Iowa Falls again Monday. The power company pulled the meter to Gary's house and I have to get that turned back on which means probably taking control of the account.
Hope everyone has a blessed Sabbeth,
Ken

morning all. 44 here and should get into the low 80s again today. No moisture here, could use some even with all the hay on the ground.
Got a couple sprinklers going yesterday with help from Gwyn, nice to have her along to help out.
A couple fields of oat hay got cut yesterday, that makes a lot of windrows in front of the balers now. Will probably stay home from church today and bale, hope everything holds together. Should be about 180 acres ready.
With the neighbors cutting their barley I've been seeing lots of coyote pups out hunting mice. Should be a fun fall/ winter coyote hunting time.:D
Better move along, chores and sprinklers to check then wait to see if we'll bale, sure we will.
Have a blessed Lords' day and give Him praise and thanks for all we have.
GOD BLESS. Dean

I saw the temp. down to 38 in a couple places while out around the farm this morning early.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 71 in Louisville, going to 87. Dry for the next few days and then a whole string of days with thunderstorms.

Not much on the plate for today. Starting out at church, will probably go out for lunch with friends, then Miss Cindy will be ready for her Sunday afternoon nap. Sometimes I join her and sometimes I just doze in my recliner. Need to do some reloading, but doesn't have to be today.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there. If you're shooting, wear your glasses.

Morning folks. It's 74° here. I slept in a bit. Long day yesterday with the saubier.com guys. Everyone had a great time. I took my muzzle loaders to zero and they were all over the place. New powder should fix that. Need to get them settled down then go back and see where my drops are at 200 and 300.

Going to wash the boat and flush the motor today and that's about it. I think Miss Sue is going to see if she can find some crabs for this afternoon. Yum.

Have a good one.

Good morning everyone....going to see my grandmother is on the agenda for this morning, then I'm not real sure about the rest of the day. I need to power wash the loose paint off the block on the garage for a repaint so that might get done. I need to get a few things repainted before it gets too late in the year along with taking out a few ash trees. They are still decent but won't be long and the bark will be falling off. They still got a few leaves so not completely dead yet.
Shot the varmint match at farmland yesterday and did so so....my damn Sako shot better at 300 than my custom did...I had a couple different loads as i was using up ammo that had been leftover from previous matches. I did load some LT32 in some and that what did well at 300. So I got 8lbs to fiddle with.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Great morning,

64° with a few scattered clouds. Low 90's later, I think it got 100° for a bit yesterday.

Brook Trout fishing with Doug & grandson used up the morning Saturday. We were in a spill way pool & nearly every cast got the attention of potential dinner. One of the best days I recall in a long long time

Later in the day, Doug and I began a new project. We will be installing a generator connector and transfer switches in this house. That might get finished up today after a little shooting this morning. We are going to test Greyfox's 6x45 AR15 after we tweaked it a bit more.

Good morning gang

Sitting in the motor home at the base of the Steens Mts. In the high desert. 51 now calling for upper 90s. The other day it went to 103 and heavy smoke from all the wildfires in southern OR and CA. It was like a coast fog and we are hundreds of miles from the fires.
Crazy that there is a cell signal here.
I am towing my Jeep and we went through an area that has severe wash boarding. It rattled the key out of the ignition and allowed the steering wheel to lock up. I should have stopped and looked thing over. Hind sight is 20/20. I tried putting the spare where the worst tire was but the other was to out of balance. I ended up driving an hour back to Burns for tires. $1,000 later I am on the road. Oh well I was going to need new tire in a few months. Headed to the Alvord desert today. No church today but will enjoy God’s creation.
Not sure why pictures flipped. Getting ready to leave but you get the idea.
Have a good one gang.

Currently 70's going to upper 80's later today in the hollow. Checked in on the new grandson yesterday. He's a fine boy. It's difficult to imagine what kind of world he will live in by the time he reaches my age. I don't think I'll dwell on that very much.

I really should cut some grass today and might later this afternoon, but right now I'm thinking of loading up and visiting the range for some quality time with a Cooper 6 BR that has just been rebarreled. I expect the Kruskes to get ma AR back to me some time this winter with an accurate load. But that doesn't mean that I will be able to drive it.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
