66° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature to be up about 79°. It dried out some yesterday so I was able to mow the yard in the afternoon. Now we have about a 40% chance of showers again today.

We will go to church this morning and then this afternoon I will probably go up and check on the gun club. Other than that nothing is planned for today.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning, for the most part,

Dark thick heavy clouds with wind, thunder & lightning and of course the rain that goes with it here near Halfway USA. 71° right now & 85° later to go with thick humidity.

Debra & I both commented yesterday that we prefer a dry climate.

Many tasks were checked off yesterday. Chunks of the shopping lists were checks off too. Even managed to find a rummage sale or two. I got myself a plaid shirt. I'm going to try those for a while. :D

Looks like inside work will be the focus for today.

good morning all. 45 here with close to 80 for a high. 30% chance of moisture, same as the last couple days but nothing fell. We've got the dry for ya, DD and Scott!!!
Finally got the big swather back in the field yesterday. Now if it will just hold together for the rest of the season. About 1800 acres left to cut, bale and stack before winter.
Fixed a tire on my farm pickup, I hope. Second time on same tire, same hole.
About time to get around and check sprinklers and chores. Today is Gwyns' birthday so not sure yet what we'll do after church. May take a drive or something.
Have a great Lords' day. Give Him praise and thanks for everything.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning folks. It is 70° here with clouds and humidity. We had a very busy day yesterday at the gun raffle, but lots of people took money instead of the guns. That really pisses off my bosses when that happens. Wastes our time and we don't make anything. Oh well. We got back to the shop about the time they were ready to leave so they helped unload, then offered to take us out to dinner. JR we went to the new distillery I told you about. Food was incredible. Hooch was decent. They had a honeycrisp apple pie (vodka) cocktail that was incredible. With JR's "recipe" it could be even better.

Not aire what's on the agenda today. Maybe get back pulling crab hrass while I smoke some meat. Boss hasn't told me what to do yet.

Have a good one.

56 on the way to 79 today.

Shake, rattle and roll......we had an earthquake here yesterday. The epicenter was 1 1/2 miles from the house. It was a 3.6 and very sharp and fast. I had just walked into the house with my youngest dog, scared the heck out of her. I have experienced lots of quakes, each one is a bit different. They all will increase your pulse rate!

Time at the reloading bench today.

Enjoy your day and be careful out there.

Late morning check in gang! Got out yesterday and put up some deer blinds and went hunting yesterday evening, saw 6 but no shot opportunity with a bow! Heading back out this evening if I can walk well enough, I was putting up one blind, got my numb leg tangled up and lurched, stumbled, fell for 3 minutes before actually falling, but not on my bad hipl, thank the good lord! In a lot of pain this morning but hopefully it will ease off before I go hunting!

Good morning everyone...warm and humid so far. Just got done with the breakfast mess and thinking about doing some work around the house today. Thinking some mowing and burning what's left of a small dead tree I took down. Got 2 more Ash trees that need to go and an Elm I think that's growing sideways in the backyard. Got a maple out front that need s a trim really bad but I'll hire that done.....last time I trimmed an apple tree I left it a stump and still hear about it to this day!
Thought about a trip to the range of time permits to try some Berger 108 in my 6br since I bought 500 of them. Need to think about getting ready to kill coyotes too really soon if there's time for that as well.

You all have a good one!

Good afternoon to everybody! As Kermit says; LOL. “Phone says it 66 out” and I see nothing but clouds. Went to church this morning after church the Ladies Aid had coffee and home made cinnamon rolls after service. You could smell them cooking through the whole service. After service was over everyone went down stairs for cinnamon rolls. Not a soul left the church. Even the kids didn’t go outside until they had their cinnamon roll. Fellowship was excellent.
On the way home I got a call from the chisel plow guys that they needed fuel. We have the big Versatile and John Deere on the chisel plows now and the wheat ground is turning black fast. Took the fuel truck out full with 200 gallons on it and now it’s almost empty. They were getting real low on fuel.
Sitting here now watching and enjoying the geese and seagulls pile in. They sure like that fresh fresh chisel plowing.
Have a beautiful day, praise God for all your blessings and say a prayer for John McCains family as they mourn his loss.
