41° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature for today is to get up to about 58°. It isn't going to be that warm but sunny at least.

Yesterday I got to the gun club and did a little shooting in the morning and the in the afternoon had to fix a computer for a customer. Today I am going to church this morning and then I have to go do another computer job. A business customer of mine got hit by a scam so I agreed to fix the computer this afternoon so it would be ready for tomorrow morning.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Iowa Falls, were it's 46 degrees and raining. Supposed to be this way all day.
This is it, we are finally done with this estate. Everything is sold, including the property. We're going home this afternoon. Church this morning then hook up the RV and hit the road. It's been a long 5 weeks, way too much stress.
I have a radial arm saw and a cabinet my dad built that will require separate trips to get home. There's 95 lead bars, 25 pounds each in the truck with some buckets of ingots totaling 2000 pounds. I found 6000 pounds of lead in the shop. That is a lot of boolits.

Looking forward to church this morning,
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning, GoGo. It's 55, going to a warm 82 with plenty of sun.

I helped my stepson put rear disc brake pads and rotors on his 2008 Pontiac G6 yesterday. He mostly paid attention and only chased butterflies a couple of times. It was my first time encountering a brake piston that had to be screwed back in, not simply compressed with a C clamp. Luckily my nearby NAPA had a specialty tool that made it a lot easier.

Y'all have a great day and be safe out there.

morning all. 40 to start with, high 70s later. Got to 81 yesterday, had to be some sort of a record. With wind it really dried out things, not that anything was wet to start with.
Finished one field and started baling another, but I told the boss man he could bale it. No much hay but a lot of p-dog and gopher mounds!
Slept in, sure felt good too.
Started a new project yesterday, BIL brought me three black powder rifles that were in a house he's helping clean out. The owner died and his son is trying to clean it out. Anyway the guns have set around and need cleaned up, mice have been on them and there is rust spots and stains. Need to find something that will take the stains out, short of stripping the blueing/browning off and starting over.
Off to town for church and wally world then home, not sure what will take place this afternoon.
Have a blessed Lords' day, give Him praise and thanks for everything. Pray for our messed up country!
GOD BLESS. Dean

Mostly great morning folks,

Light rain & drizzle while the thermometer display 45° here near Halfway USA. Looks like the rain will be with us on & off for several hours. Only going to get to 50° today.

After a trip to Sears to exchange several tools and another unsuccessful attempt to buy DD a treadmill she is convinced we need to take our money elsewhere. We breezed through a couple garage sales on the way home. I found a couple more wrenches to add to the tool box. I expect the grandkids will get them soon enough. After all, who doesn't enjoy seeing the utter joy of the 4 year old little girl pawing through HER tool box so she can help her daddy. :D

I spent the afternoon doing maintenance on the Bigfoot camper. I think I found the intermittent failure to start in the furnace. I noted a tiny bit of corrosion on the spade clip power connection. It appears that it could have made contact with the galvanized compartment. That got cleaned and insulated with some black tape for good measure. After that, the whole camper got a good scrubbing. Tree sap had accumulated on the roof so the power washer was deployed. By the time it was clean, I was a mess, soaking wet & pretty darn cold.

Debra Dearest saw me & a said "Chili will be ready by the time you get dry clothes on." That was a much welcome hot dinner.

I think I need to spend some time at the reloading bench. 300mag is going to get put together so I have enough to miss an Elk several times.

Upper 50's and sunny in the hollow. Looks to be going into the upper 70's or low 80's later. All in all it should be a nice day. I spent a fait amount of yesterday driving to the Two Brothers range and back and burning powder. May have determined that a faulty scope has been the problem with my Cooper, more testing to follow. Both new barrel were shot and determined to be adequate at the least and maybe very good at the best. I'll shoot our next match while forming brass with one.

Will be traveling to our new range later today to once again do some measurements before final grading and pouring the slab for the range shed. We have gotten a number of estimates for it and the conclusion is, 6000 square feet of concrete is spendy. But we already knew that. We've managed to burn through most of our cash and will open the doors to new members shortly for a new cash infusion. I've found I am pretty good at spending other people's money.

G'day Y'all (F**k a bunch of democrats)

Good morning folks. It's 55° here and sunny. Slept in a bit. Yesterday's gun drawing was a long-ass day. Left the house at 8:30 am and returned at 7:30 pm. Made about $27,000 for the store so the bosses can pay some bills. Luckily we had great weather and a good crowd.

No skunks again last night. Guess I got the litte bugger and he didn't have help. I need to fix the pot holes in the yard this morming and then mow when it dries out. Also need to mow the widow neighbor's. Get my work done so I can hunt some. I need to check my stand out back today, gather my gear and wash my hunting clothes.

MPC...you can thank me for the score of the game. I can't watch PSU play...they lose. I just checked in last night long enough for them to fumble before half time and give up a TD. That was a gimme OS shouldn't have gotten and the difference in a W or L for PSU.

Hqve a good one.

Sunday

Good Sunday AM chilluns. it's a sunny 64 in Indy heading for 80. Did my regular Sunday morning routine. YiaYia's House of Pancakes (same ownership as the Lincoln Square Pancake blind) then went by Rural King. Chatted with the gun counter guy for a while about everything from 1000 yard shooting to smoking meat. He did most of the chatting cause I don't know anything about either topic. Cruised the aisles as usual and ended up with some work gloves (sorry about that "W" word) and soft soap to take care of my delicate little paws. Grandson has golf tournament in Indy today, Monday, and Tuesday. Hope I get a chance to go see him play but walking a the whole danged golf course is pretty much out of the question for me. They're playing a hoitie-toitie country club course that only allows spectator carts for folks with a handicap ID. Heck, I'm handicapped in a lot of ways, I just can't document it.

Pretty good day of college football yesterday. OSU, Purdue, IU, ND all picked up wins. Louisville should have won but whoever calls their plays went brain dead late in the game and they threw it away.....Literally! Same same for Penn State.

Time to chase that day of rest thing. Have a good one.
