37° here in Upstate NY this morning with a little drizzle. The high temperature for today is to get up to about 47°. We can expect some rain showers today all day.

Yesterday was a quiet day, we went up to my BIL's retirement party in the afternoon and that was it. Today church this morning and then take life easy the rest of the day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Sunday morning

54 here in NC Ohio with more chance of rain, which we got plenty yesterday. Well the Buckeye's won last night, good interesting game. Our country lost another of the greatest generation , WWII vet, 41st President. Not many like him left. Give Praise for what we have and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Great morning folks,

Overcast, a bit more rain in the area with 36° we should avoid icing the trees here near Halfway USA.

Well the floor is done & I darn glad to be off my knees. Hopefully it's the last floor I'll ever have to lay. DD is pleased with the results. The area rug she chose to put over the brand new floor compliments the room nicely.

Still have to make all the trim so it will be a week or so before the project gets completed.

Not sure what the rest of the day has waiting but I know one thing, there won't be work involved.:D

morning all. 10 to start with a wind chill around 1 above. Might get to 29 later today, with 60% chance of snow for this afternoon, of course the wind will blow too.
Went to the craft fair with Gwyn for a bit, then I came home and work on the old Dodge pickup some. About all I got done yesterday.
Off to do chores soon, then town, church and wally world. Will be back home before the snow flies and work on something in the work shop. Probably 6.5 creedmoor brass.
Better get along, have a blessed Lords' day. Remember those in need of prayer. Give God thanks for all we have.
GOD BLESS. Dean

51 degrees here and they say we’re gonna get all the way up to 62 today. Fishing with Dad is on the agenda today. It rained all day yesterday so some indoor work got done , along with a little bullet casting.

Make it a good day

good morning folks. It's 42º with FOG here in SCPA. Slept in a bit today. Nothing on the agenda. Well, there are some chores, but nothing too bad. I need to run down to the ole widow neighbor's and swap batteries from the mower to snow blower tractors and get it fired up. I should gather some leaves there too. They all blew up in front of the garage door in a pile so it won't take long.

Went to the aunt's 75th birthday party yesterday. Saw some family I haven't seen in years. Nice to catch up. Stopped by Lowe's and picked up some salt for the softener, and a couple filters. Miss Sue perused the laminate flooring. Scott...do these women have telepathic abilities, or just FB???? Got samples so once she decides, I guess I'll be ripping up carpet and putting flooring down in the guest bathroom. That can wait until after the holidays.

Well, I guess I better find the coffee pot and stalk some breakfast. Have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's a balmy 55 degrees, going to 61. We had 1.6 inches of rain yesterday, but dry and sunny today, thank goodness.

Carl, I envy you living so close to your dad and with him in good enough health to go pond fishing with you today. My dad died three years ago and when I run into a repair issue here at home or come across some new interesting information, I still think, "I need to call Dad about that." Give your dad a hug for me and tell him I said hello.

I smoked a pork butt, pulled it and took it to a small church get-together last night. It took 13 hours, right on target, to come up to temp and was really, really good if I do say so myself. For those of you who like pulled pork, ribs, smoked chicken and such, all you need is an electric "bullet style" smoker and some wood chunks. Charlie, George and I can help you be up and running in no time.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

KF, I have an old canister smoker that is just water over charcoal and whatever you add to the charcoal for smoke. Is it practical to replace the charcoal pan with an electric hotplate and old pan to create smoke? Will there be enough heat to get to temp with a 1000 watt hotplate?

Tom...sure it will. Google Alton Brown smoker. He has used wood and even cardboard boxes with hot plates.

Charlie

ps... I might have a used HS Stock. Need to check the basement. Time to clean out some things not used. PM Me if interested.
