Good morning from Bartonville Texas. 43 and clear with a big, beautiful moon.
Two shopping days till Christmas. I had to say that to remind myself that it really is Christmas.
The kids took me shopping to Bass Pro yesterday, first time I have been inside one. I picked up some clothes for my wife, otherwise I couldn't find anything worth while. The store is huge and I never found the gun section.
Church this morning then? What ever the kids come up with..
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good Sunday morning

Morning Ken and others to follow. 31 here in NC Ohio with the temp cooling down. Sure hope our friend George is ok and doing well. I have been working on my house cleaning skills while the weather is cold and windy. Haven't learned much except grab a trash bag and toss!!! If its not been used in three years it gets tossed. A great WE to give Praise for our savior and sing HBD Jesus this holiday. Mike

Good morning, GoGo. It's 31 in Louisville, going to 43 with a 50% chance of showers just after lunch.

I sing in the church choir and today's our big day. We aren't doing a full cantata this year, just singing 4-5 special numbers as part of the service. That's assuming the "crud" hasn't hit even more of our singers. Miss Cindy is trying to get her sinuses cleared out and I think she'll be OK.

Y'all have a blessed Lord's Day and be safe out there.

Good Sunday morning folks. It's a chilly 33º here this morning, with sun and clouds. Was a cold, blustery day yesterday. I spent all day inside. Gun shop was busy with last minute shoppers. I came home and helped Tyler change a bulb in his car. He has a bad gasket and water is intruding in his taillight. I ordered a new gasket off Amazon...be here next week. We did dinner at a AYCE Chinese buffet with Sue's sister and kids. She is headed toward the big "D" and could use some prayers.

Don't forget to head on over to the "Hey WAS SKRUSKE" thread and wish Scott a HBD! He tried to hide it but DD let the cat outta the bag.;) Hope it's a good one Scott!

Prayers sent. Have a good one.

Charlie

ETA I didn't get to the ole widow's yesterday. She wasn't home. Hope to get there today to swap tractors around.

You are aware that quite a few of us here on the Green Board know Sweet Polly, right? What you may not understand is that we really like her, while we merely tolerate her hole-digging, Ruger-loving husband. So, when you call that sweet lady a headache, you'd better be smiling, son. ;)

morning all. 20 here in western Colo. Cloudy with snow for tonight, but we'll be home before it gets here, I hope.
Had Christmas yesterday morning and the big meal, prime rib and lots of side dishes. Then after dark we went to a parade of lights, was nice. The lights are in a botanical garden and you ride around them in a horse drawn wagon, lots of people but was kinda fun.
Off to church this morning then hit the road for home.
Have a great Lords' day and give Him praise and thanks for all we have.
GOD BLESS. Dean

42º with clouds and misting rain. Tarcila just said it's a great time for seasonal depression, gray and gloomy. I started early last week with a cold and got past it, now she is dealing with it and will likely miss some family visits because of it. I'm leaving here shortly to drop off some gifts for a daughter, SIL & grandson who are leaving for Disney World this morning. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. My sister is having family over later today, but I'll probably have to go alone. Visits to her house are always pleasant but subdued. There is no alcohol, so relatives have to tolerate each other with no chemical assistance. Sometimes that works, other times not so much.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning all. It’s 31 here on the southside of Indy. Might reach 40. Family Christmas celebrations are over. We packed the house yesterday and a good time was had by all. But, I’ll not be buying one of those spiral sliced hams again. Apparently, I don’t have the skills necessary to deal with them. The dog is appreciative.

It’s now 5 hours later and I just realized I never sent this. I was distracted by a “statuesque” young lady wearing a sweater that said “I’ve been good-ish all year” and suddenly the internet was gone.

Stopped by Rural King on the way home. I hung around the gun counter for about a half hour during which they sold Ruger AR556s to 2 guys and a middle-aged lady bought a $1300 M1A. She said she couldn’t adopt me right away.

Have a good rest of the day.

M1A for 1300?? Are the plain Jane's going for that or was it used?
We picked the Grands up last evening and let them open one present each. Church this morn after breakfast of blueberry Quaker Oatmeal. Partial banana consumed.
Rolled into the church lot when 4yo Leo said he felt like throwing up....got him almost out of the car when the mini eruption hit.
That was the first time since his Dad was 2+ that I had a shirt full w fallout on the pants. I left S School to further wash, rinse then put into the church dryer my shirt.
An hour in the digestive process had made it prime.
We're finished with the presents now. Grams and Gramps are ready for a nap.....of course we're the only ones.
Gas a buck ninety 7 and loving it.
The Town & Country gets 22-24 mpg and it would be outstanding if I could break twenty w my 85% 45-60 driving. But 5200#, 3.42 and decent stock ground clearance will have their say. Not sure of rpm at 60. Still brkg it in and haven't seen any figures on the 8 spd.
Hmm, eyes fell shut - I'm gone.
