32° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high for today is only to be about 34°. We are supposed to get snow showers today, and tonight with up to about 1/2" possible accumulation.

Was a good day yesterday, I didn't do any computer work, I went up to the gun club for a couple of hours. We had light rain in the morning but then it cleared off and was sunny about 39°. Today will be church this morning and then just loaf.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Trinity Pines, 39 and clear, high of 67. Another wonderful weather day. I wish they would all be like this. I got out yesterday and took a few pictures of the woodlands to try out my new Christmas present, a Tamron 18-400 lens. I am happy with it.
Today is church then lunch at Trinity Cafe, across the street from the church. This afternoon will have to include some outdoor time to enjoy the sunshine.

Hope everyone has a blessed Lord's day,
Ken

Great morning folks,

33° now with 36° later and partly sunny all day here near Halfway USA. Yesterday was darn nice - sunny & 45° at mid day. The solar panels I have got a little exercise.

Yesterday I got the electric water tank all drained - thoroughly this time - and powered down. Youtube was useful for the how to - I used a shopvac to suck and blow the water out of all the lines.

DD & I partied with Corey & his now 2yr old daughter Hazel. That went on until late into the night - nearly 9pm ;)

This morning after half a pot of coffee & a bunch of clicking I put my OCD/Autism to good use. :D I was searching for appliance parts & might have found a hens tooth. But I advised Greyfox to buy a new Hen. ;)

More sakin' & packin' today. Loading up the RZR so every thing else can get packed in around it.

morning all. Ok this is strange for here. When we went to be it was about 5 above, got up this morning and it's 28... above. Wow, what a change. Still calling for a chance of snow, but the wind is going to blow, up to 30mph. I knew I should have shot the creedmoor yesterday. Oh well.
Still didn't get the started off the loader, one bolt just doesn't want to come out, in fact I still haven't been able to get a wrench on both ends of it.
Off to do chores and chop some ice, may not be to bad this morning. Then to town for church, and wally world. Probably eat in town too.
Have a blessed Lords' day, give Him thanks for everything we have and are.
GOD BLESS. Dean

GOOD morning from the Kentucky branch of the Damcow farm. 32 ° here as of now but expected to hit 50 plus again today. Dean, why can't you use a Chainsaw to cut the ice off the watering tanks? That's the ******* way it's done in Kentucky and its a lot faster than the wood splitting maul. Your struggle with the starter reminds me of a friend struggling for 2 weeks taking a transmission out of a bulldozer a few years ago. He got it out finally.

Yesterday a hole got dug uncovering the water line. A bout 25 feet of hole and we didn't find the water leak. Today we are going to dig about 4 more feet then give up and call the backhoe operator and get him to dig it all up and replace all of it. I keep getting some water near the Meter but I think it is ground water. I found out I am too old to dig holes.
#2 son is here, Judy Brown is asleep and it is quiet till I turn over pots and pans and make a big crash so I'm staying out of the kitchen. Damcows I see have frost on their backs this morning and I will need to roll out some hay soon.
Have a safe day, and Dean don't get Trampled at Wal-Mart today.

Oh a Trapper friend caught a Kentucky Wildcat for real yesterday. It was the nicest one I ever saw caught in Kentucky spotted up like a small leopard. They usually don't have many spots in Kentucky. He did not skin it, he put it in the freezer to sell on the taxidermy market, just to nice to peel. Skruske, check it out on the Kentucky hunting forum Trapping section.

Good morning from home in PA. It's 43° and sunny here. A lot nicer than yesterday. It rained all day until about 2pm. The wind picked up about 9am and by the afternoon it was howling. About 4:30 the sun came out and got beautiful, but no deer were killed. We couldn't have hunted any harder down there on the MD lease. Rain, slow, wind, all of the above over the last 4 years down there and we never got to pull a trigger. We passed a few bucks and does that we maybe shouldn't have, but dang, I don't know what we did to the deer gods to piss them off that badly. I'm probably going to piss a few of my friends off, but we're done with that place.

Well, I guess I'll get some coffee in me and get a shower. Christmas with the in-laws today. Have a good one.

Can't really believe it, but the sun is actually shining and the weather guessers are suggesting it may do so for a few days. Whodathunkit. My main duty today is to do an orientation for new members early this afternoon. I think we have six lined up to show and that certainly makes it worth the effort. As long as we keep spending $$ we need folks to provide said $$.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Sunday

Good morning all. Late morning in Indy and it's 38 heading for 48. Today's intended golf ball launching got grounded by a grandson who's two hours away. Thought he'd be able to get up here in time but teenagers have stuff that gets in the way. For him it's church and I couldn't ask for anything better.

Had breakfast with my usual Sunday pal then walked it off at Rural King. They're running a sale on a Ruger 9mm take-down carbine. An old boy put one in layaway while I was there. Ain't my cup-of-tea but it seems like a nice gun for $399 if that stuff floats your boat. $549 at Bass Pro. I can't leave RK without buying something. I had it narrowed down to a 10' step ladder, spun honey, and bacon jerky. They still have the ladder.

The exercise bike seems to be helping the stiffness in my hips. Felt better this morning than I have for some time. Guess I'll stick with it.

Have a good day.

Late morning check in gang! I have been suffering with lower left hip/back pain for 3 weeks, finally went to the chiropractor on Wed, Thursday, and Friday. I noticed a marked improvement each day, and continue to do some stretching exercises' he showed me. It makes me mad, that I don't often take my own advice to see a chiro when you first start having pain. About completely pain free now. He said what I already knew, putting to much strain on my left leg, carrying all my weight for nearly 3 months, I had 5-6 pinched nerves. He has a thermal scanner he runs down your back and afflicted area, shows any hot spots which is usually a pinched nerve. After doing so, he took his finger and pinpointed each spot, which hurt like hell. Well got to run, do some stuff with the wife today, you all have a good one!
