21° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature will be going up to about 31°. We will probably have some snow showers this afternoon with up to an 1" accumulation possible.

Quiet day yesterday as I was hoping it would be. Today it will be church this morning and then R&R the rest of the day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

God Morning from Trinity, 43 now with a high of 59 and no rain.
Like George it's church this morning then take it easy in the afternoon.
We went to Huntsville yesterday and picked up a few things so no need for more shopping.

Hope everyone has a blessed Lord's day,
Ken

Good Sunday morning

Good Sunday morning to everyone. 22 here in NC Ohio with the one inch of snow piled up in mini drifts. Not much going on here except thank The Good Lord for everything and get ready for the great freeze coming. I have decided that by next winter there will be LP gas heat in the buildings that are auto so I can get lazier & fatter!!! Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all. 3 above with mid thirties in sight for this afternoon. Was windy yesterday! Hope not today.
Helped Gwyn some around the house, cleaning after the stove filled the house with smoke a couple days ago. And that's about all I did yesterday.
No coyotes were see yesterday but my BIL got one off the neighbors dead cow. I'd probably missed if I'd seen that one anyway
Dry cereal for breakfast, milk went bad !
Off to do chores then to town for church and wally world.
Have a blessed Lords day, pray for our country and those in need. And Koger with his hip replacement too.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Whacked a coyote while I was out doing chores, first one in a while. Maybe the miss spell is broken now and I can get a few more before we start calving!

Great morning all,

56° with some clouds but clearer with 75° later here in the trailerhood.

Well I'm all out of ideas & knowledge on the furnace problem. A new control board did not fix it. I tested the sail switch and high limit cut off and those two are good. i also jumpered 12 volts to the blower & it spins up proper. Looks like I will pay a pro to make it work.:( I'm thinking the trouble is either the propane switch or a relay in the air conditioner.

The afternoon went much better. I scrounged up brass for a few hours and filled a gallon bucket.

Ain't heard from JNYork since I have been here.

Not sure what activities wait for today. Perhaps I should trim some 223 brass.

Good morning. It’s 20 in Indy heading for 23. Can’t wait for the warmup. We got a little bit of snow over night but my two-legged snow machine took care of it. Julie shoveled the drive while I was in the shower. Might stick with her.

Y’all have a good day.

Morning folks. It's 27° here with thin clouds. May get some rain or snow later today. Slept in a bit today and it feels good. I worked at the store yesterday and then came home and brought in more wood. Got it stacked and ready for the big freeze. I'm afraid my wood is too dry though. A lot is junk wood and I guess really isn't worth the calories it takes to turn into BTUs . I wish I had a forest of oak to cut from, but I have ash, poplar and ailanthus. Give it a few years to dry and it burns like paper. Oh well.

Got a gun drawing here shortly. Need to get some breakfast in me and hop in the shower. Have a good one boys and girls.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 28 in Louisville, going to about 37 and we may see some sun today.

Didn't do squat yesterday beyond watching both Louisville and UK win their basketball games. The Kentucky vs. Kansas game was a good one. In Louisville's game, it looked in the first half like Pittsburgh might beat 'em again, but the Cards woke up after halftime and got 'er done.

Scott, I'm sure sorry you're having troubles with your trailer furnace. On the other hand, I can certainly understand the reason for so many safety cut-offs on camper furnaces. That's such a small space that a faulty furnace could kill you really quick while you slept. Bringing in a specialist sounds like a good idea at this point.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Good morning everyone.....still at the house this morning. My buddy Tony and I went around last night and set 7 snares where we seen heavy traffic through the fence rows. I guess he got bored this morning and peeked already. He did get a shot off on a coyote by the hog barns but missed.
I think I'm going have so.e breakfast then maybe eight in my 20tac AR since I got a riser put on it finally. Not sure what else will happen but hopefully nothing to strenuous.

Hope everyone has a good one!

Morning Gents! Its a lazy Sunday morning here. Getting around kind of slow today. We had a house full of Duck Hunters, and dogs, for the last weekend of the season. Lit a fire in the firering last night and sat around in the driveway. Its 31 and partly cloudy this morning with a cool down coming. Probably build Mama and Kitty a fire then head to the loading room. You'all have a good day!

A disfunctional furnace has not been a critical hardship in this part of the country. We have a couple small electric heaters to kill the chill in the morning.

As a side note, DD is a thermal battery and keeps the bed plenty warm.:D

Morning gang! 38 headed to 45 here today! I have to box a couple of ML's up to ship in the morning, and get packed for my hospital stay, at least 5 days in S. Josephs in Lexington, and then either home or rehab , depend how I do. The first few days is rough with a28" incision, not to mention all the muscle soreness and around 120 staples. l cant wait though, want to get it done and over with, hopefully will be my last go around with this hip. I may get out and shoot a 30/06 98 Mauser I got yester day. It is a commercial action with nice bluing, has a Hogue over molded stock with the full bedding block, and has been bedded on top of that. It has Talley one piece ring and base bases, and a olive drab Carston cheekpiece, and a new Redfield 4x12. Trigger is a crisp two pounds. I worked cleaning the barrel for over an hour, lots of copper buildup, when I got it cleaned it looked very nice, now just have to shoot it. It was shooting 1" groups with150 Rem. core locks according to the guy I got it off of, for the sum of $250, I think I got a good buy! Well time to go to church you all have a good one, remember those in need of prayers, and especially our country, Buff out!

Weatherbug said 30º @ 6:00 this morning. 43º right now and will make the upper 40's later today. It's sunny and pleasant out. I have some keys to punch and there are bullets tumbling in WS2 right now. Around noon I be heading to the new range to orient eight new members. I haven't been there in a couple of weeks so I'll see what changes have transpired. Not expecting much since we've had a couple inches of rain, but I think there may have been a little progress before it set it. I know the bench tops have been delivered and are waiting for the block work. We're planning some kind of Grand Opening ceremony for Feb 24th. I have no idea who came up with that idea, but I'll probably be the one to decide what "ceremony" means.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
