31°here in Upstate NY this chilly morning, we had a touch of rain overnight and we are supposed to get some more. The high for today will be up to about 46°. Tonight and into tomorrow morning we have a high wind advisory with gusts up to 55mph.

Yesterday was a so, so day, I went to a funeral for a friend from church and the rest of the day was spent on paperwork. Today will be church this morning and the hopefully R&R for the afternoon.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Waseca, 15 degrees now and dropping. Wind of 30 is really blowing last nights snow. Glad to be in the house. Going to be cold ll day, minus 5 for tonight. Looks like well below 0 lows for the remainder of the week.
Had lunch with my daughter yesterday, even ate one of the youngest granddaughters brownies and proclaimed it good, even though it was a bit off tasting.

Church this morning, then washing the walls in the house. The very high humidity from the water breaks made a mess of the walls. My knee is feeling better so walking is ok now.
Hope everyone has a Blessed Lord's day,
Ken

morning all. 0 here with wind chill of -5. Wind blew all day again yesterday, our small amount of snow was moved into the roads, but drifts were soft and small so no problems. Should warm up now for this new week... we'll see.
Didn't do much but help watch cows for cold babies, yesterday. Off to do chores and check cows again. Then to town for church and wally world. Hope to get in a good nap this afternoon.
Better get, still dark but can chop ice in the headlights.
Have a blessed Lords' day. Remember the prayer requests, and our country too.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning folks. It's 63° here on our last day at Tybee Island. Thick fog again this morning. They are calling for a little rain today. Yesterday we lounged around after a big breakfast then went into Savannah and saw the square where the Forrest Gump scene on the bench was. Then went to River Street and saw the sights. JR would love watching the people there. Found him a shirt.

On the way out of the city before dark we stopped at Wiley's BBQ and oh my gosh was it ever good. We sampled everything and it was all outstanding. Doug, it's in a strip mall by Five Guys east of town where Bay St bypass meets business Rt 80. Worth the trip if you have time this week.

Well I need some coffee and a shower before we check out. Better get moving. Have a good one.

Good morning all. We’re just up the highway from Charlie in Hilton Head. Weather looks about the same here as he reported. Hoping things will clear up a bit by our 10:00 tee time. We’re gonna’ give it a try.
Had breakfast with Bill, Peggy, and Emily McMurry yesterday in Sevierville, TN. Always a treat to meet up with them. I-40 was/is closed near the NC line so we got to add a nice 50-60 mile detour on the way here. Rock slide apparently took out the entire highway.

Gotta’ get moving. Have a good’n.

Good Morning

No rain here this morning. It’s 53 degrees and falling with 40-50 mph winds.
Only caught one raccoon last night.
Spent a few hours yesterday swinging the splitting maul. Got a good pile of wood split but I’m feeling it today. That job sure was easier when I had two teenage sons still living at home. I’ll get a little more split today and get it all stacked.

Wishing everyone a good day

That Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky and things are as muddy as they can get. Its 55° this morning and sunny after a few rounds of thunderstorms last night which brought 4 inches of rain. Lake Cumberland is at a new record high with all the spillway gates open at the dam. With all the problems they had with that dam over the years, i would be worried if I lived below the dam.
Dean is chopping ice out west and my cows are knee deep in mud here,
Charlie, i do like that shirt and have some more Bar b q for me ...sounds good.
I guess i better go let Otis Kat out of his house as i shut the door on him last night to keep him safe from Coyotes. The Damcows need some hay also, going to be a challenge to find somewhere that aint muddy to unroll hay today.
Here is a shot of the dwindling hay pile. Got Mud?

I just got a call from my adjoining farmer friend that I have a Coyote in a snare in our shared fenceline!!!! Otis the Kat won't get caught by that one. Thats #12 this year of the mudering bastards.

Good morning, GoGo. Temp is 45 in Louisville, only going to 50. What was supposed to be an all-day hard rain here yesterday passed south of us. We got a little rain, but not all that much. Right now we're experiencing steady 25 mph wind, with gusts of 35-40 recorded. It's supposed to be that way through sometime tonight.

Got about 150 pieces of 6BR brass primed yesterday. Next step is to drop powder and seat 80gr Bergers. I'm thinking about doing that ahead of time, seating the bullets a bit long, and then bumping them down to final length just before the Balloon Bust in May. At my level of shooting/loading I'm not sure that extra little step makes any difference. I had 13 kinds of rifle/front rest problems at the UBR Nationals last fall and I'm hoping to avoid any more matches like that. Ugly.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Mornin boys...
Phone says its 55 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Rain all day yesterday and most of the nite. Wind is blowing
pretty hard now. Hope it don't take down all the trees. We have
several roads washed out of part of'em. Highway 70 had a mud slide
that killed 1 and another in the hospital. Guess we'll have to take the long
way around to fish this year, if it ever stops raining.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless....

Good morning

35 now low 40’s later
My daughter in Rochester MN is experiencing her first blizzard. The staff at the hospital are staying put. Usually they are put in the hotels but they are closed. Ambulances and cop cars are stuck. Her roommate called a tow truck to get out of the driveway, he got stuck and had to use a winch to get out. Oregon rain looking good today.

Good morning everyone....it's a windy sob here today! Got off work Friday evening and met up with my hunting crew and we started the contest for the weekend. Friday night was looking pretty bad as we got busted by couple of dogs at one set and didn't see anything else most of the night.

We went to the hog barns and as soon as I got out of the truck and started scanning one took off across the field. My buddies started barking and he finally stopped just long enough to drop him at about 200 yards. Luckily the first shot dropped him as the second trigger pull just made a nice "click". I think it might be the magazine but not sure yet. That was at 4a.m. and that gave us a little motivation to make a few more sets but nothing came of them.

Hunted last night until we got rain and today was just too windy. Check in is at 4 today so we'll see how bad we got skunked.

At the shop now finishing a project so it wont be such a rush tomorrow.

You all have a good day!

Snowed here most of the night and still coming down like crazy. Deer across the road are trying to find something to eat. Not having much luck. Snow plow gave me a nice berm to remove so it's time to fire up the tractor and get to it. Have a great day folks. Pictures are fuzzy as it's snowing.

Gabrielle. My wife was involved in the blizzard of 1978 in Indianapolis many years ago. Police closed the roads. No travel allowed, interstates drifted closed, etc. We had about 38+ inches with wind and drifted, even in the city. The hospital where she worked (1100 beds) called and said they were short of critical personnel, so the Civil Defense was coming to take her to work as we lived closer than many others. The 6 miles took them 45 minutes. She had the brains to pack some clothes and some canned soup. A CD Jeep picked her up and I didn't see her for three days. Slept on her boss' desk (like sleeping in class when a student). Hospital almost ran out of food. Three people handled a normal work load of 8 or 10 people.
