29° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high going up to about 42° today. Right now we are under a Winter Advisory with snow, sleet, freezing rain and then finally changing over to rain. We are getting gust of wind up to 30mph throughout today.

Was a rather nice day yesterday, got some work done around here but I had to be on the road part of the day also.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning everyone

Look at this, the far west guy posting so early. Time change and then my Dear Daughter in MN that is working graveyard decided to text me that she took a kick boxing class. Well I hope you get your clocks changed. It is the pits doing it in England.

Morning Gents! Its 50º and cloudy here. Had some bad T'storms yesterday with a couple of confirmed tornados. The power was off all across the State yesterday including mine. About 12,000 customers were off at the height of the storms. Had some damage just North of us. A few farm buildings destroyed, trees down across the roads, several power poles broken. I think there are still about 400 without power today.

The contractors finished laying the tile yesterday. Theres nothing going on today but the cabinets are scheduled to be delivered Monday. Moving on.

You'all have a good one!

morning all. 22 to start the Lords' day. 40s later with wind, but at least ours just blows dirt and cow poop, not buildings!
This time change is just WRONG! The sad part is I was awake when it happened, watched as the clock by the bed went from 1:59 to 3:00 in less than a blink of the eye, there went a hour of life that we'll never get back
Just normal work yesterday, got started servicing the big blue tractor. JD still wouldn't start, will have to pick up batteries tomorrow in town.
Haven't seen a coyote for a few days now :( maybe they'll forget to change their clocks and I'll catch one out and about. :D
Off to do chores and head to town for church, and wally world.
Have a blessed Lords' day and remember the prayer requests.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning, GoGo. It's 47 in Louisville, going to 62 with at least some sun. Here in the Ohio Valley we had strong thunderstorms yesterday. In Louisville they started around 12:30 and rumbled off and on until 5 or 6.

Miss Cindy is doing better with her back injury, but is only at maybe half-speed. I think the pain has been bad enough that she'll think twice before trying to lift something she shouldn't be tackling solo.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Good Sunday morning

41 this wet fine day in NC Ohio, lots of rain and light show. Saw lots of family not seen for a while at nephew's retirement party last night. I am thankful for the chance to attend. Be safe and give Praise for friends and family. Prayers to those and country. Mike

Morning from monsoon land again we had 2 inches of rain yesterday and last evening, sure wish Dean had it.
We have a nice morning it seems...sunny and warm.

Same calf different day; looks better doesn't it? Time change doesnt effect me much, just daylight and dark here.
I had a long Face time call with Captain Jesse yesterday...he sure is ready to leave Italy but it will be the end of May before they return. Almost 4 years since he left Ft Bragg N C.
I hope Skruske got moved to Castle Mountain or wherever he is going. Guess he will post tomar.
Off to take care of animals .

Great morning folks,

Mostly clear with 42° for now, 67° later in the day out here in different dirt & rocks.

The move went smoothly. Tanks emptied & filled as was needed. We settled in about 4pm near The Kofa Wildlife Refuge north of Yuma about 60 miles.

Going riding today. The Canadians are coming up. I expect a hike is on the to do list when we get to Castle Dome. I will be sure to share pictures.

Morning boys and girls. Late to the party today. Seems Dean and I had the same problem last night...no sleepums. Sure picked a great night for that didn't we? It poured here last night. Donnie and JR didn't get all of it and I imagine George and CTKen will get the rest today. Its 35° here headed to 60 maybe. Hopefully spring is here.

Have to get a move on. Need to work a gun drawing today. Have some things to do before we head out. No rest for the weary!

Have a good one!

57º and partly sunny in the hollow. Looks like this is the high for the day. Mild temps are forecast for the week with a little cooler stuff by next W/E. Spring is getting close with daffodils blooming and most of the trees budding. Purple martins have been sighted a few miles south, so I need to hustle and get their houses ready for the first arrivals.Last year we ended the summer with something over 60 birds in our martin houses and many will return to raise a new brood. They pay some pretty good rent by devouring a large percentage of the mosquitoes on our 3 acres and surrounding.
I'm leaving in a few for a range orientation session for some new gun club members. We would like to have more numbers quicker, but they are trickling in and we can sure use the $$.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Morning

Good late morning from Indy. Cloudy and 38 at almost noon. Went to see the 9 yr old dancing granddaughter perform yesterday. It was actually a dance competition and her group was awarded "Double Platinum". That's the highest score you can get according to folks who know something. All I know is they were darned cute and danced well. Stopped by Rural King as usual where they tried to sell me a Ruger Precision Rifle. Lots of those "chassis" rifles around but I can't get into 'em. I got some Moon Pies, peach jalapeno jam, and jerky instead. They've been selling 9mm and 5.56 ammo like crazy lately. They just set a pallet of it out and soon it's gone.

Waiting for Julie to get home from church, workout, and Starbucks. Maybe we'll go shoot a pistol. I'm looking for that hour of daylight we saved.

Have a good day.

Sunday

40 degrees and headed to 54 today. I went to the basement this morning and lost all track of time at the reloading bench. Inspected the chimney this morning and we are in pretty good shape. I sure wish I had a few more cords of that seasoned oak I’ve been burning this year. The last of it is stacked outside the door now. I’ve got enough on the ground to get me through next year but it’s not gonna be as good as this stuff.
I sure envy you Doug. I wish we had a Rural King closer to us. The nearest ones are in the Ohio towns of Hamilton and Lebanon which is about 50 miles from me. Whenever I’m up that way I always stop in and find something I need. I picked up a new pair of Muck boots back in the fall that were on sale and it was some of the best money I ever spent.

Make it a good day
