23° here in Upstate NY this morning, the wind has calmed down finally and the high temperature for today will be about 33°. It is to be a sunny day which will make it better.

Worked around the house yesterday, went up and checked on the gun club also. Today will be church this morning and the R&R the rest of the day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Bartonville, Texas. 49 now and clear, high of 65. Church this morning then what ever the women decide.
Yesterday's gunshow was different than I expected, a lot smaller. There was a lot of knife dealers there so I brought home a nice Garand bayonet. No muzzleloaders, nearly no used reloading tools. I did find a new in the box Texan shotgun loader and I rescued the saddest looking Redhead press I had ever seen. Very few black rifles, there was a table full of benchrest rifles. First time I had ever seen that.
Not crowded so plenty of time to visit with dealers. Overall it was a good time.

Hope everyone has a blessed Lord's day,
Ken

Good Sunday morning

24 here in NC Ohio with some winter mix later that Doug will send over. This afternoon will be sawing 10 2x6 down to 4.25 inches for the pole barn. The Amish better show up soon or I'll get some good help and finish the barn. Give Praise and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Happy St. Patrick's Day, GoGo. It's 35 in Louisville, going to 52, partly cloudy. No big chance of rain for the next week, but we'll see.

I'm gonna follow Ken's plan today: Church, then R&R.

Mike (MPC), wait for the Amish. Stay away from the saw, especially since you'd be working solo.

Have a good'n and be safe out there.

Good morning varmints! It's 33° here with bright sunshine. But they say we may get another chance of the white stuff overnight.Sure hope this is the LAST of it. I also hope it dries out a bit and gets in a more stable weather pattern.

Worked at the shop yesterday a bit, then came home and split wood. Got about a cord and a half in the shed under roof. Couldn't let Carl P have all the fun. :p. That stack has been sitting since last year, nearly all locust. Good stuff. Finally got around to it. I have about that much more to cut and split and my sheds are full again. Plenty of downed trees from the wind and storms. Couple widow makers I may attempt to drag down with the truck. But not today. Have to cover a gun bingo here shortly. Be most of the day, I reckon.

Well, I better get going. Need to finish my coffee and jump in the shower. Have a good one.

MPC. Fishman has a good suggestion to leave the sawing to the Amish. I have used saws all my life but im about ready to quit as old folks don't need to be messing with them. We don't need anything sawed off.

Its a Frosty morn here in the sticks of Kentucky 27° but sunny and soon to go up. I have a big job planned for today. Spraying buttercup with a 300 gallon tractor spray with 2 4 D. It must be done early spring. I have to remove the Hay Unroller after i feed Damcows and fill the tank of the sprayer. Then i have to do the spraying and find someone to help me put the unroller back on.

Big Blue UK fans have their flags at half mast today. I am not one of them as i dont care about pro sports.
I'll get out of the way so someone can say something important.

Morning all 35 here headed to 54 today with sunshine! Going to reload some 45/70 this afternoon, about 100 rounds of either 405 gr or 350gr. I am down tod150 rounds loaded up, and this wont last long. I have 8 45/70's, and I shoot one of them nearly every day, from 3-20 shots. I love my Sharps and Remington Rollers, but I must say, my two Original Trapdoors shoot great as well.. Well, headed to Church in a few, please remember our country and anyone else in need of prayer, Buff out!!

Morning Gents! Its a lazy Sunday morning. Its 36º here and Sunny and clear. Headed to the low 60's. We have been seeing Robins for a couple of weeks, the Doves are calling to each other and we had a Martin scouting the bird house yesterday. Maybe Spring is near.

Not much going on today. Probably put in a couple of receptacles that are hard to get to before the counter tops arrive and haul off some trash. Planning on having a lazy day.

You'all have a good one.

Good morning everyone... back at the shop today since I was out all day yesterday. The trip was pretty smooth and we returned home about a little after 5pm. I picked up 3 bags of Winchester .204ruger brass and some more CFE223 to load up. I bought another 250 box of 40g vmax as well. I opened a bag of brass last night and deburred and ran it in the sizer then primed 100.

Dang snowing again here right now pretty hard hope that don't last long! I had to park my truck outside today to get a big part in the shop so hopefully the bed don't rust up too bad...I tarped most of it but the tarp wasn't quite big enough to cover it all.

Well have a good day and stay safe!

Good morning all. It’s around 33 in Indy heading for a snow melting 42. Got maybe 1/2” of big wet snow flakes. Sticking everywhere but pavement.

Ran my Sunday morning traps and came home empty handed. Pretty unusual for a stop at Rural King. Watched two people fail to buy guns while I was BSing with the gun guy. One got delayed on his background check and the other didn’t have the necessary ID. Both of them wanted a S&W 642. I smelled a rat.

Have a good St Patty’s Day.
