20° here in Upstate NY this morning with cloudy skies and a little dusting of snow. They were calling for a chance of some freezing drizzle but we don't have any. The high temperature today will be about 29°.

I took one gun to the gunsmiths yesterday afternoon to be reblued, I have been thinking about it for a time. I don't use it that much but I like my guns to be in good condition so I finally decided to get it done. Today is Valentines Day so it will be spent with my wife.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca, it's 20 below 0, high of 9 below. I need to get moving and try to start the truck to get to church. Yesterday was ok, the lady I had lunch with gifted me a nice commerative folding knife, which I managed to forget when we left the restaurant, it's gone, never tobe seen again.
Taking life easy today, I think. Cold not withstanding.
Hope everyone has a blessed and warm Lord's day.

Dang, Ken, that's bone chilling for sure! 21 here in CT and while we had a few flurries last night, no precip this morning so the roads should be good for me to take Mom for her 2nd covid shot. No plans other than that. May spend the day tending the wood stove like the cats and my girls get to do everyday, maybe try it on for size and see how I like it rather than working. Haven't looked at how far up the mercury is going today but I'll be surprised if it hits the freezing mark. Keep is safe and warm, folks.

Good mornin you all from the Mountain State, it's 29* here and foggy this morning. I'm working at Glade today, that place was hopping yesterday. Be sure to let your Valentine know how much you love her, you could be sleeping on the porch. That's about it from here, have a good and safe one today.

Good morning from the Sticks of Kentucky at a comparatively warm 27° Above Zero. Minnesota is frozen tundra right now and I don't wish any part of it....I just don't see how Animals survive outdoors in weather like that..
Our weather guessers have warned us of impending Snow storms, ice storms and Cold temps for this week. We will see.

I am up a bit early today at 5am, I either Heard a Gunshot or Dreamed I heard a Gunshot. This ain't Chicago where there seemed to be gunfire every night, and I don't have many neighbors in Gunshot range....I may have dreamed it. Whatever the Case, I am ready to return fire anytime with joebidens forbidden AR 14 rifles lying here on the couch.
Judy Brown may return today from her discharge from the Army just in time for Valentine's day. I suppose she bought me a present at a Goodwill as I heard she has hit everyone in a 50 mile area. I wonder if I should Reset the decor here from Man's house to Woman's house?? I may remove ONE Rifle.

First thing today will be go check the Coyotes traps and see if they have grabbed anyone. Cats and Cows need feeding and since Joez is on Glade Duty and not Farm Duty, I have it today.

And KF, I don't know the story on the CanAm that slid off the trailer. That was one of Jackson's buds and I didn't stick around long nuff to ask much. But you are correct.

A Rugermite warming up to whip up on KF at the BBB Whatever it is.

Y'all be safe and you folks up North try to stay warm.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all you hard core romantics. It’s six (6) above in Indy. I’ll take it as opposed to 20 below, thank you.

Finally picked up the nephew’s 380 dies yesterday. I don’t want to know what he had to pay for them. Ran a bunch of brass and I’ll probably make some ammo for the niece’s mouse gun today.

Off to try a new breakfast joint today. Have a good’n.

Great morning folks,

We are fortunate to report -1° with frost hanging on all the tree branches here near HalfwayUSA. A clear sky & sunshine will melt some of the beauty away later. While -1° is cold, it is not the brutal and dangerous cold that has gripped the central part of our country.

I just came in from a lap around the yard. I was feeding critters. The birds, squirrels, rabbits & deer have cleaned up 50lbs of feed this week to keep themselves warm. Later today I will be making a trip to Tractor Supply for a resupply of the stuff I use to mix my own critter food.

Yesterday I wrapped up the last of the brass sorting - pile to give away, pile to keep. Now I can move on to actually refilling some of the 10's of 1000's of prep'd empties. Most of my ammo buckets & ammo cans will get topped off before Spring.

Debra Dearest will be getting a Valentines Day out and about. It will be my privilege to provide escort and protection while she browses the stores she wants to visit. Lunch or dinner somewhere later before we come home to snuggle in for another evening by the woodstove.

Mornin boys...
Phone says its 33 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
We had rain yesterday morning and then it was like a heavy fog the rest of the day.
Little monster busted several balloons and water bottles yesterday tring out the
Bog Pod. She has had trouble finding the targets in the scope until Tucker got
them. Now she can get on target by herself and I think she will want to shoot
more now. That might not be a good thing with no ammo to be found.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

Morning Gents!

Its 18º and cloudy here and it won't warm up very much. The forecast is for it to start snowing and sleeting late this afternoon and through tomorrow. It doesn't look like it will get above freezing before next weekend. Thats nothing for most of you guys but its pretty cold for here.

Yesterday was a slow day with the focus being keeping the fire going. The Wife, Kitty and I mostly stayed inside and were lazy. We had to go out a few times to fill the bird feeders. They are really hitting them hard. Most of them are being pretty polite. We are seeing birds that usually don't play well together sitting side by side on the feeder.

Todays plan is to be a rerun of yesterday. Hopefully! Feed the fire, feed the birds. Maybe I'll tinker in the loading room some but I'm pretty much caught up.

Prayers offered for those fighting the Chinese Virus, our Country and any others in need. Special prayers for our members that are struggling with health issues. My thoughts are also with any of you that have to work outside.

You'all have a good one and try to stay warm.

21º with heavy clouds and snow in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Looking at what you folks in the north are dealing with, I'm not complaining at all. Except for a Publix run sometime today I have no business out of doors. Although I will probably fill the bird feeders again in mid afternoon. If we do get snow I won't do the KY run tomorrow either. Looks like cold all week then a warming trend. We can likely manage a week.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Late morning all. -7 with the wind chill around -30 this morning. Far cry from the 30 above yesterday!!! Got a little snow but don't think there will be any drifts to bust thur.
Think we'll stay home and warm today. Church on the couch again, then out to the hobby shop for gun and quilt work. May even clean up my little end of the building. Really needing the broom ran across the floor.
Worked in the shop yesterday afternoon, cleaned out one tool box on my farm pickup (not my service truck). And I even found a wrench that I thought I lost almost two years ago!!!
Breakfast is waiting, coffee is hot so... have a blessed Lords day. Prayers for all who need them and our country.
GOD BLESS. Dean

We had snow all day yesterday and I’ll have snowblower duty today. The sun has come out of the clouds and it’s quite beautiful this morning. Cold at 6 positive degrees but with the sun shining we can take it. I feel for Toiville and his cold. Man, that is brutal stuff he and others are getting on the prairie.

Morning all, 27 headed to a hi of 30 today. Heading to church in a few, then flop around the house the rest of the day. I just can get fired up to go out in my cold shop. It will heat up in a hurry, but my arthritis is acting up and I would rather stay warm and out of the cold. JR, has some 8mm brass on the way, with one primer hole instead of 2. You all have a good one, prayers for those that need them, Buff out.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 23 in Louisville at 10:30 a.m. I'm checking in late because I wanted to be at Home Depot right after they opened at 8. Thought they might have some salt, but nope. I do have one 50# bag that I snagged yesterday.

Cindy and I have everything for a nice steak dinner tonight. She'll probably try to talk me into cooking the steaks in a hot skillet, but I think that's an abomination, plus it smokes up the house. Steaks need to cook over hot coals. I might try that sous vide thing someday, but not this day. 😉

I think we're supposed to get maybe 4-6 inches of snow between now and Tuesday. Then more snow around Thursday. My Sonata only has maybe 4-6 inches of ground clearance, so I'm glad I have the old Ford Escape, which has a lot more, plus supposedly has a limited-slip drivetrain that puts a little power to the rear wheels if the fronts spin.

Y'all have a good'n and be extra careful in the cold and ice.

Started out this morning at -6* and is now only 0* but going to warm up to +5 today here in the northern Ozarks and by the way it is snowing heavily. I know just where you are coming from Sam, this cold and arthritis don't mix well. I plan on spending my day inside where the temp is warm and the air is not full of snow.
Supposed to have a fellow come by and talk about putting in a solar array behind my house, but I bet he doesn't show up. Which does not bother me a bit. Not too much to say except try to stay warm, prayers for all in need or not. God bless.
