Good afternoon gentlemen,
Has anyone here had any experience with Hodgdon's Superformance powder with their 6.5s? H4350 seems to be the flavor for most with a few chiming in for RL17 as a second choice. I have enough factory Hornady brass to start working on a load for my RPR. Glass is Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5.5x25x50. I'm planning to start with the Nosler 140gn RDF bullets....love the BC at .658.
Superformance came up on a tactical thread this morning but no load data.

Try Reloader 16

I am using RL 16 in my Creedmore. Great accuracy and velocities. 2800+ fps with Hornady 147 ELD.

Powder is supposed to be temperature stable like H4350 is.

I called into my local reloading store this morning and they had every imaginable powder available EXCEPT for H4350 and RL16. No problem for them to find more RL16 but H4350 is on loooong backorder. His distributor says they just don’t know when H4350 will be available.... could be 6 months. I ordered some RL16 but walked out with a pound of IMR4350 to play with. Shucks 6 months from now alfalfa season will be over along with the rockchucks I hoped to try the Creedmoor on.
Wow.....2800 is smokin’ for 147s?
