63° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature expected to be about 74°. These next three days are supposed to be cooler and less humid. Yesterday it was very humid again and we had some thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

I was quite busy yesterday, on top of everything else I had a lot of paperwork I had to do for the gun club and pay the school taxes for it. Today will be a little quieter.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning

Looks like the weather has broken here. They’re only calling for temperatures in the 70’s the next few days.
My wife and I celebrated our 32nd anniversary yesterday. She didn’t have to work and she was walking on sunshine because she got to babysit our granddaughter for the first time. I was able to get the grass mowed and size a few cast bullets before we went out for supper. All in all, it was a pretty good day.........then I heard the news.

Good morning from Iowa Falls. Well, really not much of a good time today. We had a power issue this week that fried the coffee maker, electric fireplace and the refrigerator. That's over 6000 dollars to replace. Last night the power converter died. I have some outlets working and nothing else. Can't move the trailer as the slide outs and electric jacks don't work. Looks like it is going to be a costly day.
Hope everyone has a blessed day, and better than I

Great morning folks,

Clear sky and 52° with a high near 72° predicted here near Halfway USA.

Our weather broke on the good side about 8pm Wednesday evening as an impressive cold front forced it's way through. It pushed out the hot humid father east.

KEN your slides and jacks should have an access point to hand crank them. Alternatively, the motors that run those components should be 12 volts DC and should could try jumping them with the truck battery.

I ventured north early yesterday to visit my old hunting partner. He's 84 now & still pretty sharp mentally. He says his mind is still 28 but the body is showing high mileage. Still golfing about 5 days a week so he's keeping himself busy. We went over his new will and I have been made executor of his humble estate. It appears things won't be a complete circus but I expect some trouble from his two worthless drug addled daughters who have been excluded from any inheritance. I'll just handle everything as though I have to stand before a judge and explain my action.

DD is going to visit her favorite aunt for lunch. She is recently widowed & not doing so well herself.

I will be unsupervised for a few hours so I think I will try to finish fitting a Glock 22 slide to an 80% receiver I have had on the back burner for too long.

morning all. 41 to start another fall day. May get to the low 70s, but should be dry, yesterday was here but showers around the valley.
Hope the hay gets dried out today, need to be baling. But another 130 acres got cut yesterday so we're that much closer to being done.
The reservoir that we get our irrigation water from went dry yesterday, first time I have ever seen that happen. But on the bright side, now I can start draining sprinklers for the winter.:)
Whacked a coyote with the Remington break action 223 that I trying out, think I like it! :D
It's FRIDAY, have a great day and weekend. Be safe and dry.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning folks. It's 71º and not quite so muggy this morning. But I did notice the bright red sky. Gonna be some wet weather the next few days and maybe even into next week. Ruins our plans to go to the Fair Sunday, maybe, but hopefully I can take advantage of the moisture and get some grass seed planted. What I planted earlier this summer burnt out. I just don't have time to move sprinklers around every night for 2 hours. Need to get to Lowes and pick up some lime and topsoil. Already have seed and fertilizer.

Didn't get anything done last night. This gun shop work 2 nights a week is really starting to get old. I can't get anything done. But I can't bring myself to quit. My "bosses" at the shop are more like family. Known them all my life and worked there 16+ years now. Not sure how much more I can take though.

Well, I guess I'd better get to work. Looks like we're having some network issues, so this might be a fun day. Maybe I'll check back later to see if the notorious D.U.G. checks in...

Have a good one.

Rainy here in Central Texas. Mid 70's headed to the upper 80's, maybe 90's. Babysitting a sick dog yesterday, last night, and this morning. Yet another visit probably to the vet as soon as they get the office open at 9am. Poor girl can't even keep water down. Diagnosed her yesterday as having a kidney infection. All the blood work, etc came back normal so I guess it's a matter of of me keeping up with her throwing up until they call back. Love my dogs but it can be a major headache when they're sick.I think I'd rather be sick than them.

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky, and the humidity is still about the same as the temperature. I took some of the day Off yesterday and hauled Judy Brown to a fabric store she had never been to before, she bought a few threads and scraps of something.

Then when I got back from that escapade I hauled Hay Rolls till dark. My Neighbor bailed my last field of hay Wednesday, and his bailer is a 4 X 5 mine is 5 X 5. I couldn't believe how many more rolls the smaller bailer made. More trips to move them....I am grateful to get it bailed up as my Tractor is still torn up, but I wouldn't have one of those small bailer if they gave it got me. Almost.

No more hay left to bail. Feels good doesn't it Dean?
Well, I need to go check on Otis the CAT who I think got locked up in his house last night. He has litter boxes in there but I doubt he know what they are for.
Chief Back to the Wall Doug is already at the pancake house, Skruske is hard at work grinding on sumpin, Charlie is trying to figure out how to quit work, KF has it figured out but ain't quit yet. Carl, old Burt was the MAN back in the day wasn't he?
Off to move hay rolls and sting some Lectric fence around them......

Morning

Good morning all. It's 70 in Indy and Too the weather dog just barked at the back door. That means it's raining. He's like a weather rock with a voice.

Supposed to rain for the next few days. I was planning on going to watch the grandson's golf match tomorrow but that's on hold. Not gonna' drive 2+ hours to watch them not play. There will be plenty more opportunities. I'm signed up and paid up for a fund raiser Sunday. St Jude Children's Hospital outing. It will be played unless there's lightning in which case it's "thanks for the contribution". I don't mind donating to them either way.

Grandson Mike is due home on leave from the Coast Guard today. He'll be around for 10 days and will no doubt wanta' do some shooting.

You got it pretty well covered, JR. RIP Burt.

Y'all have a good day.
