25° here jn Upstate NY this morning under overcast skies, the high temperature for today will be up about 33. It will be a mostly cloudy day with a 9 to 11mph wind.

Yesterday was a mostly quiet day, I was on the road for a time but that was it. Today I hope to be able to take it easy also, it gets to me when I am too busy where I can't just loaf some.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Morning George. I let you sleep in. Been up since 1am. 😵‍💫 it's 30 something at BWI Intl airport. Made it here too early. Nothing open. No bag check, no food. Waited, went thru check and security, walked and found some coffee, tater tots and a bottle of water for $9. They sure stick it to you at the airport. Glad they don't sell primers. Should be in Chi-town by 8AM Central. I'll wave as I pass by Tom, Shane and Doug. Meeting my bud from Philly there and we switch planes to OKC. Get there about 10:30.

Have a good one.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy and 32. Snow. Big one in the area, just north of me. We will get some later today. Maybe 4+ inches.
Yesterday I came home with a massive bandage on my head. They took a tiny biopsy.
My wife was told to put the nasty cancer cream all over her face. The stuff feels like a serious sunburn and itches and peels. I need to find her a burka so she can go out in public.
We had some time to kill so off to the thrift stores. I overpaid for a light weight 4x scope.

We have an appointment with the tax man this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday,
Ken

morning all. 21 with low 50s later, only "breezy" today then tomorrow the wind will blow again. Or so they say! Storm coming for the weekend, possible snow...or not.
Same ole thing around here, chores and cow watching, BUT did whack a coyote, only one I've seen for over a week!!! Must have then thinned down a bunch this year,
which with all the baby calves on the ground that is a good thing.
Went to look for a couple knives to post pics of yesterday and couldn't find them, somewhere there is a box of alot of knives, just can't remember what I did with them.
JR told me I'm getting old!!!
Trash day so I'd better get it together and ready to take down to the end of the road. Have a good and safe day. Prayers for those with health issues and those traveling.
Charlie tell Larry hello from Gwyn and I.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning gang, it's 30* here and going to upper 50's and sunshine, looks like it's going down hill from there for a week. Kate and I will be headed to Charleston about 0830 for a lung biopsy at CAMC, I am in Gods hands. I guess that's about all from here for now, you all have a good and safe one today. God Bless,

31° here and the temperature has actually dropped in the last couple hours. Spent yesterday evening in the friendly confines of the Cracker Barrel with a couple of weary travelers. Had a good visit and swapped some interesting stories both funny and sad. Both of them are class acts and their kindness was greatly appreciated.
Picking up food for the gun club fish fry, after work today. Since I’m delivering it to the club, I might as well take a gun or two and fire a few rounds before the rain starts.
Prayers offered. Safe travels to those on the road and in the air. Make it a good day.

That pot o' beans sounds really good Bill.
I too was up earlier but sitting in the parking lot awaiting the appearance of the fearless leaders. If we don't do a thing till 1150 again, my feelings won't be hurt up too much. Last day so payday at end of gig.
It will be back at the plumbing and mounting of brackets to hold the grapple hoses.
Get Some......& Tom out

PS. Late breaking - one toothless asked another if 1/8 + 5/8 wuz equal to 3/4 as he was gonna cut a pc of plywood for his counter top !!??? I'm thinking not Homes n Garden material.

I thought I better post this morning as we won’t be around tomorrow with gloom and doom on the weather map radar. I used to think California weather was a good thing but now I’m not so sure. So we’ll have the snow blower and shovel at the ready, as always.
I did a little 30BR therapy yesterday, as Kermit calls it, and then asked myself what I was doing. What works at thirty degrees won’t be so good at seventy. But it did feel good.

Morning Everyone!

Its 48º and cloudy here headed for the mid 50's with rain in the forecast for most of the day.

Yesterday was a slow day until the DIL called and wanted us to pick the Granddaughter up after school again and take Her to gymnastics. During the day I researched 9MM bullets and ordered some from American reloading. I also started resizing a big batch of cases.

Not much planned for today. The Wife and I will probably do a few chores after while.

Good Luck to ya Charlie. Have a good time and be safe.

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country. Special prayers for Ken and his Wife and for Joez. Hope everything turns out ok for y'all.

Y'all have a good one.

Morning all. About 33F right now and partly sunny. This afternoon is slated for rains, and a high near 50F. My wife' sister and her husband will be dropping by on her way to go someplace antiquing someplace near Nashville. Said they will only stop for a couple of hours for a break. We will practicing our social distancing for sure. Be safe and keep warm.

Good morning all. It's 36 in Indy heading for 50. Chance of rain this evening. Nothing much happening here today. (This is a recording) We took a couple of rimfire rifles to the range yesterday. I'd reinstalled the scope on the Henry .17HMR with Burris Sig Zee rings. It had been out of adjustment and shooting about a foot high at 50 yards so I took big swing at it. -20 inserts in the rear and +20 in the front rings. That lucky guess got me close enough to fix with a few clicks and now the scope is looking where the rifle is shooting. The Bergara BMR was dead on, as expected from the last time it was shot. Nice little rifle and shot well right out of the box. Just another lesson taught by Josie "Deadeye" Eakins.

Ordered a Vortex Diamond 20-60x80 spotting scope from Midway yesterday. Not a high-end job but on sale for $150 less than anywhere else I could find it. I just bought a Vortex tripod at Sportsmans Warehouse with a birthday gift card and I don't think you're allowed to put an old spotter on a new tripod. Might be able to see where my sighters are going at the BBB this year..............as if that's gonna' make a big difference. 😂 It could see service in SD.

Have a good day.

Currently 46 in the hollow with heavy cloud cover. Might slip up to the mid 50s, but that's about it. Completed the route work for the week but still have packages to ship and that's a good thing. Massage yesterday loosened me up a little from the fall and today the chiropractor will take a shot at what's left. Plenty to get done, but now the urgent stuff is behind so I'll need to make choices as to what needs doing the most. Our way through the situation at the gun club is beginning to come clear, but it will be Monday night before it gets intense or so I expect. I have now spoken to all the board members and it appears we are in basic agreement of how to handle the problem. I'll keep you folks posted.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Morning all, 50 headed to 64, the last warm day for a week, Redbud Winter is upon us. Did not do alot yesterday, was hurting too much from Arthritis. Got a full day to day, going to take a fellow who goes to church with us a extra pair of forearm crutches for him to try, he is having trouble with his rollator, saw me using the one forarm crutch, and I told him I had a extra pair, if he liked them they were his. I came up with JR a barn gun, a old mossbert 146 tube fed that has had all the guts removed for the tube, has the barrel cut off to about 18", has the stock sprayed with countertop finish, and the metal sprayed with wrinkle paint. I got it off of a guy with a bundle of stuff for $10 30 years ago. It would not fire, because the back end of the bolt, was screwed out 2 turns. It is a very good shooter, have killed a ton of starling, groundhogs, a few crows and a few stray dogs and squirrels as well. I may have to dig around an find him a scope to go on it. You all have a great day and prayers for those that need them, Buff out.

Good morning, GoGo. At 1050 it's a pleasant 48 in Louisville, partly sunny, and going to 61. Showers due around 8 p.m. and going for 4-5 hours.

Yesterday I assembled a new design breakfast biscuit and I tested one out this morning. Previously I would just cook biscuits, cook sausage and slap 'em together with a little sliced Velveeta. Then somewhere on the Internet, I recently saw a new idea. What you do is take a muffin tin, slice your sausage and then mash the raw sausage down into the muffin segments so the meat comes up the sides and makes a cup. I cut my 1# roll of sausage to make 10 of these little cups. Then I stirred up six eggs and added raw onion, bell pepper, salt, pepper and some Cholula. You pour or spoon the egg mixture into the sausage cups, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top, and bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. I let these things (no idea what to call them) cool just a little and used a table knife to loosen the sides, so they wouldn't stick like glue. So, I slapped these little sausage/egg hockey pucks on biscuits, wrapped 'em in Saran and froze 'em. This morning I pulled one out, nuked it and gave it a try. Ate just fine.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe, and join me in praying for our friends here who are ailing.

Whatever you call them Mr. Kentucky, that sounds good!

We should hit 52 today in SC PA with plenty of sun. Tomorrow is supposed to start off with snow in the morning turning to rain later on. It's gonna be messy Hope it doesn't start until I'm at work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Last night old girlfriend showed up with her new man. She finally gave me my key back, but I'm still keeping the deadbolt locked just in case she made a duplicate. I told her again why she was not welcome any more; when you steal from me and then look me in the eye and lie about it twice trust is broken. I forgive but you but I'm not stupid. You have to earn my trust back. Hope they're happy, but I have a feeling when the honeymoon is over it won't take long for her character issues to become painfully obvious. I gave her many more chances to change than I ever had, but she chose to ignore what I was saying. That's why she's no longer a part of my life. I believe God has something better for me, somebody I can trust. I did enjoy the companionship, and I envy you guys that have found a good woman. God bless you!

New Trulock Precision Hunter modified choke tube has been delivered! Hopefully I can shoot a pattern or two after work. I want to see what an ounce of #5's will do through it. I'll try some 8's too, for dove. Should be interesting! Have a great day everybody, and good luck to Mr. Sterner!

Charlie ….. welcome to the wet side of the state. Glad all your goodies made it ok. Good luck in the hunt.
Feeling better today than have in a couple of weeks. Little redhead has a school play this evening. I reckon we’ll be there. She starts softball practice in a couple of days…..she can’t find her glove and is all bent out of shape over that.
As of last night we have 13 heifers yet to calve. Be glad to get them all done.
Don’t have a clue what is going on down the hill today. DIL dropped in earlier and she and wifey made a whirlwind scouting trip up here looking for the missing ball glove.
Tomorrow, I hope to go with son over east to feed cows over there and see the new places over there. They bought another 1/4 yesterday at the auction. Chad was just going to watch and when I called son later about it…..he just said Chad won….. 😵‍💫
And another new toy was added to the barn
Wheel Tire Vehicle Automotive tire Hood

Doesn’t everyone need a 2500 gallon, fully remote, 8 wheel drive fire truck…..son said that puppy will move down the highway at 60 mph
Prayers for our Country, Israel, Ukraine and all Y’all
