34° here in Upstate NY under clear skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 62°. It will be a nice day, sunny with a mild breeze of about 6mph and no rain once again.

I was on the road once again yesterday morning and then when I got home, I had to do another computer here. Today I don't have any work scheduled and I am thinking I just may take off and go "Up Home" for a few hours.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning all. It’s 48 in Indy to start the first p dog deployment of the year. Loaded the truck last night and we’ll be heading west shortly. Wanta get out of town before the traffic gets too heavy. Breakfast through the truck window then a leisurely drive through Sillynois with maybe a short stop to stretch our legs in Peoria. Next stop will be at Scheels in Coralville, IA just because. Today’s final destination is west Des Moines.

Hitting the road. Have a good day.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy and 56, high about 67 with a bit of rain in the area.
All packed and ready to go, I hope to make North Platte, though Kearney will be ok. Rain is forecast for Western Nebraska.
Doug, Scheel's in Coralville was my favorite hangout when I lived there. Great place. Scheel's in West Des Moines is just ok.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

29 (!) frosty degrees to kick off this Thursday, headed to the low 60's. We covered a bunch of stuff blooming in the yard and will have to wait and see what survives this cold dip. Weather guy gave us lots of warning so we weren't caught by surprise.
It has been some windy and dry around here since Saturday and I've been busy getting my wood moved to the house for next winter. 1 more rack to go, each holds a bit over a cord. We burned about 3 3/4 racks last winter.
Tree Plant Wood Logging Land lot

With it dry and windy, conditions were perfect for driving across the lawn repeatedly without doing damage so I made hay while the sun was shining.
Today is job site visit for an ongoing project, and probably some computer CAD layout for another small project and maybe I'll pay some bills, too. Funny how those bills always show up on time.
Hope you all have a good day!

Good Morning!

We're starting the day here in SC PA at 37 chilly degrees on our way to a high of 70. Should be another sunny and beautiful day!

Yesterday was spent tearing apart and lubricating the TX 22 compact. After I got it back together I shot it with the suppressor and it still isn't working right. The slide doesn't go all the way forward after shooting, so you have to bump it into battery with your hand to shoot again. I don't know what the issue is. I may need a stronger mainspring. Anyway, I called and sent pictures to Rugged Suppressors and hope to hear something soon. I may need to contact Taurus as well. We'll see.

I saw one lone rat in the barn last night, but he was aware of my presence and never gave me a shot. Bummer. Have a great day everybody!

morning all. 38 with upper 60s later, wind and a chance of rain thru the weekend.
Was nice yesterday till mid afternoon then the wind came up and dirt flew! Didn't finish the sprinkler I was servicing, will get that this morning and hopefully
another on this afternoon. We'll see how plans go!!!
About all that's going on around here, just normal farm stuff, boss mans' grandkids are in school so not breaking anything....I hope.
Better get moving along, have a good and safe day. Prayers for those on the road and those with health issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning folks,

70° with a clear sky and going to 88° later here in Grandkidville.

I loaded the trailer with all the scrap metal Zac had been saving. I was headed to the recycler by about 12:30 and was sure glad the truck was air conditioned as the temp had risen to 85° as I finished tying the scrap down. That trip turned into a significant fiasco. The nearby recycler was not accepting any steel. Trouble was, it was a small place with no where to turn around the truck & trailer. I backed out their "S" shaped driveway & got back out to the main road.

GPS took me to the second place that was bigger & better to maneuver inside. The truck & loaded trailer tipped the scale at 13420lbs. I got the the steel pile & began tossing junk off quickly as I could see the usual afternoon rain was moving in. I had 3/4 unloaded when the down pour started. I was already a mess so I just kept going. The time I finished I was soaked. I swung back around to the scale & was down 1600lbs. The was turned into $140 in green cash money.

When Zac got home we started loading stuff to go north. As of this morning the truck is full. This afternoon we'll load up the trailer with his '96 F250 restoration project & the rest of the shop type stuff. I think Debra Dearest & I will be headed to middle Kentucky on Friday morning. We sure won't be traveling at the speed we were on the way down.

Good morning folks. It's 40-couple here down the road from El Cheapo, but the weather lady says 38. I'll take 40-couple. Sure feels nice out there and going to be a great day. I won't get to enjoy any of it. Have to work 2 jobs today. I did get to spend yesterday afternoon outside though. I weeded and spread a bunch more mulch from the brush I chipped up. About done that project, but don't worry...I haven't run out of projects! Still have some things to do on the boat. I also need to get some bee holes fixed in the house and re-caulk the windows, then give it all a good coat of stain. Hasn't been done for awhile and you can tell. The sun and weather is rough on it on the south and west sides. Waiting patiently to hear from my insurance company about the roof. I'm sure they'll give me something, but I'm hoping for it all. LOL

Well, I better get going. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

It was 44 here this morning when I began typing. I had to go to a meeting here at work and a couple hours have passed. I was going to tell everyone how exhausted I was after putting in a long day yesterday and then mowing Mom’s grass afterward. After reading Scott’s post, I realize my day wasn’t so bad after all.
Looks like another day of beautiful weather is here today and I will be working outside the entire time so I will get to enjoy it. The big chores are finished at home, for now, so I’m not sure what I will be getting into this afternoon.
Safe travels to those on the road. Make it a good day.

Good morning, GoGo. At 0812 it's a nice 51 in Louisville, sunny and going to 79. Should be absolutely gorgeous outside.

Miss Cindy did some of her traveling hair work yesterday, but scheduled herself off today, so she'll be around here with me. We have tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers that need to get in the ground, so that may happen. Some wheat I ordered arrived yesterday, so I hope to grind a little of that today and try out another bread recipe either tonight or tomorrow. I'm having trouble getting a whole wheat loaf as light as I want it without using half grocery store white flour. There's nothing wrong with grocery flour, but I'm trying to learn now what I can do with wheat I store and grind myself.

Y'all have a great day, be safe, and remember our friends here in prayer.

Good morning,
60 degrees and 67 degrees. Bright and ☀ for the day. Today is grass cutting day . That's about it . I'll work on a piece of moulding on the yota I tore off yesterday ☹. It's a plastic skirt a foot from the bottom of the door. Any suggestions on mating two pieces of plastic back together in a corner?
Waiting on a quote for a new piece also.
Everyone have a great day.

As you can see, I have a LOT of wood left on the porch. I burned the least ever this past winter, thanks to Donald Trump who the Rats say caused Global Warming.
@CTKenagen That is a very neat wood pile and your stacking system is great. The Lumberjack @was skruske may build that for his Overflow from the Wood shed. Old dead ash in the photo was kilt by the Bug.
Safe travels to @Ken and Pancake Doug...I would like to be a Stowaway on either trip.
Judy Brown is also rumored to be returning as she patted her Boy on the head and he's recovered now.
You folks have a safe day; you never know how many you have alloted. Fella about 60 that I worked with has inoperable Brain Cancer and won't last long.

Truer words were never spoken JR. We lost a young man down the road last week. He fought the good fight as long as he could but passed away at 42.

By the way, if I didn’t know better, I would swear that is the same trailer I used to haul water with.

Morning Everyone!

The Wife and I got out yesterday morning and did a little shopping. Then She went with me last night to our "Wet Wednesday" gathering. Attendance was down a little with a few of the regulars off on other outings.

Not sure what the day holds yet. We have a "Bug Man" coming after lunch to spray. So part of the morning will be spent straightening up a already straightened up house! You'all know.............. Anyway, not much else planned for the day.

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country. Special prayers for those that are traveling.

Y'all have a good one.

Morning all. NO big plans for th, except maybe go drop off my sewer bill. They have a drop-off box in the parking lot, and I don't have to go inside and contact people. About to go do my PT, then some lunch. Be safe.

Sillinois - good one Doug. And Silly Noise the emanations therin. That fits as well.
Not on the patio yet. It looks like diced fried taters, chunks of Polish sausage w an egg or two on the side or top then the morning sortie. The breeze n sun dried her floor carpet and the bed pad. So her suite was back in shape for last night.

Charlie, not trying to pry but hope Sue's procedure had a good ending.
My Doc at the VA mentioned a great trip to the GStream w his bil. They really got into the red & vermillion snapper plus another fish I'd never heard of and can't remember. About 14" and pinkish, elongated, not a flat fish....began w a B and was good eating.

Time to cuddle w Dinah. She returned on schedule and had a really good night's rest. She had been pushing her envelope, again.
Need to get a pd order out, like Rick does and prep some bbls for selling. I'll also stick a tight patch in the Cooper for the twist. Had a twist inquiry or two at the BBB. I said I'm sure we could find a rod, jag and patch around here (ya think?) but no one wanted to proceed.

Breakfast time. Get some & Tom out this Friday's Eve. Right Charlie?
