68° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature is to go up to about 81°. Hot humid day yesterday, a lot of the area around me had some rain but it missed us. Had quite a bit of rumbling and about two sprinkles and that was it.

One of the gun club members generously ordered the club four 1/2" steel rifle gongs and they are being sent here to me. We have some pipe frames all made so we will hang them on those on our three ranges.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Ankeny Iowa, 70 and really humid, high around 90.. We spent yesterday outside walking so everyone was tired but happy. Dinner was Olive Garden. Bad idea. The noise level was so high conversation was impossible. After bread sticks and salad no one ate any entree.
Today is go home. The trailer needs service tomorrow in Owatonna.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

74 this morning in NC Ohio, hope the cooler weather moves in soon. Spent most of yesterday repairing the kitchen drain, kinda' hard to do with one end upstairs and the other in the basement , by myself!!! It all worked out good it actually looks better than it did by a plumber. Time to get a cup of joe and get busy. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Great Morning folks,

75° with a hazy humid sky right smack in the middle of Michigan. Scattered pop up thunderstorms likely this afternoon.

We watched a parade in a nearby small town at mid day. Then later toward dusk we went back for fireworks. In between DD & I rummaged while Zac and family visited at Sofie's family farm. It is a big dairy were they milk cows in three shifts around the clock.

No one has told me what I am doing for today so any adventures will be a surprise.

Good morning all. It’s 76 heading for low 90s in Indy. Rumor mongers say there’s a chance of rain this afternoon. I’m gonna’ be hanging around waiting for the AC guy to come back. He was here Tuesday but the A coil was so covered with frost he couldn’t do anything and, of course, he wasn't working yesterday. Got it deiced and the house cooled down but it wants to freeze up when the AC runs. Hoping it just needs a charge and he can get to it early.

Hope the neighbors burnt up all their fireworks last night. Sounded like a war zone around here.

Have a good day.

good morning folks. It's 75º with 100% humidity here, but no rain. Air is thick and heavy. Good day to work inside! It sure was a hot one yesterday. I got my work done early. Pulled weeds in the yard and then ran the pond vac a little bit to clean the gunk out of the fish pond. Made a hell of a mess in the yard, and the pond is still gunky looking. I stayed inside mostly in the afternoon, out of the hot sun, except to run out and flip wings on the smoker. Took them to a party last evening. Everyone loved them. Maybe I'm in the wrong business? We got some storms yesterday afternoon that dumped pretty good, then a steady rain, which we really needed. More storms possible today and tomorrow. We're off tomorrow, headed to the Bay. Guess we'll keep our eye on the sky?

Well, I need to get some things done here today before I go. Have a good one gang!

Good Morning from the sticks of Kentucky and it was a hot one indeed yesterday. The Funeral Home thermometer said 104° at about 3 pm, and I have no reason to disbelieve it.
I raked up grass clippings earlier and about melted; there was not much traffic on the road, I think everyone else was inside with AC.

The neighbors shot the last of the fireworks last evening. Just before dark I fired off an 8 # jug of Tannerite.....kinda shook the ground but not quite Junebug quantity.
Like Skruske I don't have any orders yet today, but I do have a couple jobs like up before it gets too hot.

Yesterday the other half of the Bourbon warehouse fell down in Bardstown, so they got 20,000 barrels of Bartons on the ground.now.

Coyote George's dad is going downhill fast as he suffered a Stroke last week, spect I will be going to a funeral house in a few days..
Y'all have a cool day in the AC.

Mornin boys...
71 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Me and the boys shot skeet with a guy we go to
church. He asked the boys if they would come down
and we had a ball. First time we had shot skeet in quite
awhile. After it got too dark to shoot, he had fireworks and
we didn't get home til about 1130. Boys had to be at work at
530 this mornin. I took the day off...lol
Hope you all had a good 4th...
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

Good morning, GoGo. It's 79 in Louisville, going to 94. Chance of thunderstorms starting late this afternoon. Sure wish it'd cool off a bit.

I've been off all week, so all I have to survive is today and tomorrow. I'll probably be by myself at work, so the pace shouldn't be bad.

I stayed inside mostly in the afternoon, out of the hot sun, except to run out and flip wings on the smoker. Took them to a party last evening. Everyone loved them. Maybe I'm in the wrong business?

Charlie, I think you might be onto something with those smoked wings. Set yourself up a little Q joint and hire one or two serving wenches in outfits like this. I think Doc has shut down his mud wrestling operation, so you might pick up some help there. Ha!

Y'all have a good'n, drink lots of water (No, JR, not firewater), and be safe out there.

runnin' late morning all. 50s headed to the 80s.
So smokey you can't see anything or breathe either. Could smoke ribs by just setting them out side!
95500 or more acres now, slowed down yesterday but already on the move this morning, windy!
Better get around the farm, need to finish hooking up my baler today along with keeping everything else going.
Have a good one. Keep the firefighters in prayer.

GOD BLESS. Dean

Temp never got out of the 70's last night so the day in the hollow begins warm and steamy. The westies and I were up late dealing with fireworks. They aren't fond of such. But my internal clock said I needed to get up and brew coffee around 5:30 as usual. Gonna be another hot one here just like most of the rest of you. Much of today will be spent inside, but I do need to cut grass late in the day. I still prefer this to January.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning.

Enjoyed the 4th. It sounded like a war after it got dark last night.

Fires continue. They are getting some containment, cooler temps and less wind have helped.

Prep for my PD trip continues today.

Have a good day and be careful out there.
