68° here in Upstate NY this morning under a cloudy sky. The high today is to get to be about 75° which will be a welcome change from the last three days in the 90's.

I was missing yesterday due to a very hectic day with a myriad of problems all computer related. I made people happy though so I guess that is what counts. I am hoping today will be better but I am still somewhat backed up.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning from da nort side a da big bridge,

55° and partly cloudy here in St.Ignace.

I am already waking up on eastern daylight time.

Yesterday's trail ride was about 40 miles from a ghost town called Old Victoria nearly to Lake Gogebic. Got red mud flung around on the buggy and ourselves. Even though there was misty rain we enjoyed the trip.

We've crossed many miles on and off the maps. Smashed many bugs. Every fuel stop cost $90-$100. The Halfway House is about 4 hours away & I am sure there are plenty of chores to catch up on.

good morning folks. It's 74º here with sunshine and not quite as steamy here in south central PA. We had a pretty good t-storm roll thru about 9pm last night that dumped a good bit of rain. We needed it and it really took the edge off, but still supposed to be near 90 today.

I took a few hours and visited my farmers in MD to get permission slips signed. I got all but 2 of the signatures I needed. I'll catch them some other time. One actually thanked me for not causing problems. Must have had one guy get in a shouting match with a tenant on one of their properties, then came in a was being a prick to the landowners, trying to understand why they said NO he can't hunt. My places aren't that great, but dang it, they're all I've got. Least I can do is leave the place a little better than I found it.

Boat cover arrived yesterday. I managed to get it on after dinner. Fit was about perfect. There's a few places that need support, as evidenced by last night's rain, to keep rain and snow from puddling on top, but that's an easy fix. Sure is nice and it'll at least keep the leaves out of it and keep some of the sun off it, protecting the gelcoat.

Well, I guess I should try to get busy. Lots to do, deadlines to meet, and a short week next week ain't helping. Have a good one.

morning all. 43 here with mid 80s for today, slight chance of moisture for the weekend.
Baled all morning yesterday, got three more fields done. Then started working on the big swather, finally got it all tore down about 7:00 last night. Was really tired when I got home.
Will get parts today and start back together, boss man may have to bale by himself today.
Gwyn is making a trip over the mountain to the city, taking her mom with her to do some shopping I guess.
Better get started, have a great day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning, GoGo. It's 74 in Louisville and only going to 84 or so. Some kind of front went through last night. Not sure if we got any showers from it or not, but at least today's high will be more bearable.

The weekend has begun for Mikey. I sack and pack this morning and point my Escape south toward Somerset. Should hit Jackie's range about 1 or 2 for the UBR Nationals, which will be contested Friday (100 yards) and Saturday (200 yards). I'll be shooting my 6BR Salvage in Factory Class and my 6PPC Viper in Custom. I'm pissing against the wind in Custom, but I'm never going to improve if I don't get some practice. Factory Class will likely only have 7-8 shooters, but they're all very, very good.

I hope y'all have half as good a day as I plan to have, and be safe out there.

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky, hay got all balled yesterday or what I had cut down. I fluffed it early morning, rained, fluffed it again and started raking bout 3 o'clock. Judy Brown finally showed up a nd finished raking. Air Conditioner is about quit in the cab tractor, if you want to know how hot it is in there, just put your car in the sun and roll all the windows up and sit there.

I did kill a Coyote in the adjoining field while I was rolling hay. Shot her out of the door of the tractor at about 125 yards with the AR-15. Right in the field beside Otis's house, that one won't catch him.

Still NO Baby in DamItaly. They have free medical care there....which means NO medical care. Jess said the hospital was like a Field hospital in the army. Blood and other stuff? on the floor and walls and no effort to clean it up. In USA, the baby would be out running around by now. Italy? Bout a notch above Africa.

Service tractors and cut more hay even if it's raining. I need Dean and Boss man here to help.

Morning

Good morning all. It's 67 in Indy heading for low 80s. It's cloudy but they say it's not going to rain. Who ya' gonna' believe? Going to Greencastle, IN in a bit to have lunch with a granddaughter who's a student at Depauw U. Great buffet out there called the Putnam Inn. Olivia likes her dates with pawpaw. I don't give her too much grief about her political outlook (college kids!) and she knows she'll get lunch and a tank of gas.

Nice going, Charlie. We can't always leave places better than they were when we got there but we can always leave 'em no worse.

Got a few traps to run before I go so I'd better get to it.

Well, if there's any wind at Jackie's (when ISN'T THERE!), as "the MURPH" used to say; "The wind is your friend!" - and a great equalizer to boot! (Jess be sure to bang exter Kroger rubber bands, just in case!)

Again from the Left coast, beautiful late summer WX, though i can't remember when it rained last not even TS's ! Our scouting for Dove opener looks really good and for now I don't want rain as it'll drive the doves South. Wife is getting ready for her annual house boat trip on Shasta Lake with all her FS friends, so I'll be unsupervised soon.

Morning all, 75 here early, already up to 80 with a high of 85, a little break from the heat. Going to miss out on opener of deer season, going to visit my only daughter and her family this weekend in Columbus , OH! Oh well, I have plenty of time to deer hunt since I am "retired" and every day is Saturday!
