50° here in Upstate NY this fine morning, the high temperature today will get to be up around 70°.

Another busy day yesterday but easier than the day before and another on tap for today. The river where I fish came down about 2-1/2 ft. yesterday which is a very good thing. We are supposed to get some rain tomorrow but nothing like the other day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning, 66 and rain in Iowa Falls. Supposed to rain and get hot today, fun working conditions.
The clean up continues, dumpster 5 is full and waiting pickup.
We have been blessed by strangers stopping to buy and staying to help. Getting the heavy items out of the house yesterday and today, a good scraper to clean up the yard and lots sales. The tools are nearly gone leaving the furniture and both vehicles.
I want to have this done by October 1st and it looks like I will make it.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning boys and girls. Coming to you live from The Lincoln Square Pancake House in Southport, IN. It’s 69 heading for a short stack and a side of bacon. Tonight is margarita night so I’ll need to rest up a little.

I’m waiting for a candidate, any candidate, to tell us what they’re going to do instead of what their opponent did. Ain’t holding my breath.

Have a good day.

good morning folks. It's 63º here with sunshine this morning. Beautiful sleeping weather. I could have slept in if you twisted my arm a bit. But no, I'm up and at work already. Got the widow neighbor's yard mowed last night. Was a bit wet at spots and lots of leaves are down already. Soon going to have to either mow with my mulching mower or sweep up the mess after I mow it with hers. My yard is surrounded by ash trees mostly, but with the exception of one maple, the leaves don't really accumulate. I just chop them up. Her yard...huge oaks and lots of maples. I hate maples. Too messy.

Well, I better get some coffee in me and get busy. Have a good one!

Great morning folks,

62°, overcast with light rain on the way here near Halfway USA.

Dropped the ******* Limo off at the suspension repair shop on the other side of the county at 9am. MUCH to my surprise they had both rear spring stacks replaced in about 2 hours. No other extra parts needed. The mechanic said he hadn't done a spring job on a small truck (the usually work tractor trailer) in a while. Also said, everything came apart pretty easy since there wasn't any rust. Nothing had to be torched off. The bill came in $250 under the quote so I didn't get writer's cramp filling out the check.

DD had several errands to do & I traded in a Craftsman screw driver but we were home in the afternoon & chores got tend'd to.

Deb's brother called late in the day & said he had a bunch of wood on the ground in her dad's woods but it was too big for him to handle and split. Said we were welcome to it. The trail in the woods is barely big enough for a small pickup & my big fat truck won't fit. So this morning we'll haul the 4 wheeler & little wagon over there to get the log spliter to the Oak bolts. IF the rain lets off.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 71 in Louisville and headed to 94, which is just 2 degrees short of the record. Man, it's hot! Serious cold front and cold rain are forecast for Saturday, which is to start out at 68 and fall during the day to 61. That'll certainly be different, huh?

Anybody want to start a betting pool on whether Prof. Ford testifies before the Senate confirmation committee? I'm sure plotting this whole thing with Sen. Diane Feinstein was lots of fun, but being sworn in before a Senate committee kind of raises the bar, not that any liars have been prosecuted.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

morning all.. 48 and the dew point is around 45. Mid 70s later.
Running late, Gwyn's off today so we slept in :). She has to take her car to the city and get tires and a service. Guess I'll stay home and work.
Better get, breakfast waiting.
Have a great day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

No baling today, getting a slow drizzle of rain, may even settle some dust!

Good morning everyone...….little warm at the shop already and looking like its gonna be a lot hotter. Got started cutting apart the second stone bucket yesterday and found it had one floor section over another with a bunch of mud packed between them. I got home last night and got my gear together for my first venture out this year to pop a coyote. I roll down the 1/2 mile lane into the hog barns with no lights on and pull up to the barn. I get out and shine my red led light back by the compost bins and see eyes out in the edge of the corn still standing. All excited I sneak out to the spot I usually sit and pull up my AR and hit the light and theres about 4-5 sets of eyes. I see a nice big one out of the corn looking aroundon the ground and take aim....bang...pop and he started his death spin!....still spinning...so I start lighting him up...pop,pop,pop,....still spinning.... apparently since I hadn't shot my rifle since the trip to Montana something is amiss and isn't zerod anymore.

That's usually one thing I always do is shoot them once before going out just to make sure they are still on and I didn't this time and it bit me in the ass. I'm sure he's dead somewhere but I hate no recovering one just to be certain.....going back tonight to try again.....after test firing!

Have a good day!

Morning gang for a late check in! Charlie you crack me up, good pics. Hot as heck today, heading to 92, too hot for me to be out too much in the heat! I finished building two 6XC's yesterday on Savage actions, going to shoot them this afternoon, just breaking them in, to the range tomorrow! Remember those in need of prayer, buff out!
