27° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature for the day is to get up to about 43°.

Yesterday was another busy day, today I have to pay my quarterly sales tax and I will be on the road also once again.

Starting tonight through Saturday morning we are to get some heavy rain. They say there could be some minor flooding along with temperature in the mid to high 50's tomorrow for the first day of winter.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning all. I’m up early for no real reason. Early to bed early to rise makes a man happy he has indoor plumbing. Or something like that. It’s 42 in Indy and we’ll top out around 50. Busy day today. Julie’s office Christmas party is this evening but I’ve got two funerals whereI should make an appearance. May skip the viewing in Lapel, IN and go to the funeral tomorrow instead. It’s my brother’s brother-in-
law and is an hour NE. The party is
an hour SW and Julie doesn’t wanta’ be late. The other funeral is for a retired cop whose daighters were on the high school softball team we coached. Not the kinda’ schedule juggling ya’ wanta’ do.

Have a good day. I’m gonna’ catch another 40 winks.
Good morning from Bartonville Texas, it's 48 partly cloudy and windy. High of 58.
Since I got nothing done yesterday I am hoping for a better day. I did some Christmas shopping for me yesterday, adding a Tamron 18-400 lens that maybe will take the place of 3 other lenses.
Had to go watch the new Mary Poppins movie last night. Waste of time.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken
Good Morning

41 here in NC Ohio with rain now thru Friday. I actually have a tree up, some wreaths for the first Christmas for several years. Just haven't been in the mood to do so till now. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike
morning all. 12 to start, up to 45 today. Still no moisture is sight, very slight chance on Christmas for a flake or two. Just hope the wind doesn't blow again like yesterday, was a dirty, cold day. A lot of tumbleweeds moved around.
Didn't get much done yesterday except keep out of the wind. Did get the creedmoor cleaned again and ready for more test loads, next time there is a calm day.
Could be a busy day today and tomorrow, have to get ready to go west to our Grandkidville for the weekend. Also have to go get our meat, didn't do it yesterday.
But I did whack another coyote yesterday :D Think that makes 17 for this fall.
Better move 'em out and get started. Have a great day.
GOD BLESS. Dean
Great morning folks,

I am surprised to report we have 38° with a chance for some rain here near Halfway USA. Our high yesterday was 43° with some sunshine. It was still 39° last night at 9pm. I don't recall a Christmas season this pleasant since I was in 7th grade.

Well the end of working around the house didn't last long. About 10am I removed an old florescent light fixture and installed an LED light that had been in the now remodeled family room. This was in the furnace/utility room. While I was at it, I slapped together a new door for the crawl space. Again, reusing materials left over from the remodel job.

Today I'll check off another item from Deb's honey do list. The tub surround needs new silicone.

After that, it's back to the reloading office to sort more brass.
good Thursday morning folks. It was 30º at the house and a chilly 22º in town. Hard to believe a few miles and some elevation difference would make that much difference? I brought in 5 big wheelbarrow loads of wood last night and fired up the stove for the first time. Didn't really need to, it wasn't that cold, but probably saved a buck or two on the electric bill. The wood heat sure makes the house feel warmer. I noticed the heat pump actually blows cold air sometimes, during a defrost cycle. Not a nice, even heat. Definite learning curve to the heat pump.

Merry Christmas to me, I scored on 4 lightly used trolling reels (Shimano TLD25) last night on a different site. Got them for $80 each shipped. My dealer cost is about $130 and MSRP is $179. Plus these had $20-30 line on each of them. I couldn't pass that deal up. :) Need to stop by the PO and get a MO out in the mail at lunch. This fishing stuff is almost as bad as gun stuff...very similar disease.

Well, I better get back to work and stop gabbing. Have a good one.

Good morning everyone.....at the shop and got my daughter up and working here for a little bit since she's on break from school. She wasn't to happy about getting up at 5:30 this morning.:D My son and I got the feeders repaired in one barn yesterday and have material ordered to do repairs in one more barn in the coming week or so. Not too much going on yet today...I have to burn a few parts for an outdoor wood burning and go fit those later.

Got my 4" turbo back exhaust kit from ebay yesterday and installed it last night....most the old was off already except for the down pipe off the turbo. A little heat and those bolts came loose with ease...truck only has 150K on it. It's a 2001 dodge 3500 cab and chassis. The kits was supposed to have extra pipe to fit all the way up too a 4 door long bed truck,,, which is a long SOB...well I guess my truck is exactly 12" longer as I was short just that much. Now I have to order a extension pipe since no one around here carries 4" pipe.

Next thing after exhaust is to start fabbing the custom bed for it and getting the pto pump and hydraulic air compressor and my welder mounted.

Hope everyone has a good day and stays safe!

Good morning, GoGo. It's 47 in Louisville and only going to 49. Yep, that small swing means heavy overcast and rain. It started sometime last night and will rain through sometime Saturday.

On Tuesday I got the last parts I needed to complete my latest (and last?) AR. One of the finishing parts was a Trinity Force Alpha stock kit, which included the buffer tube, spring and buffer, all for less than $30. Got it from some company in California, which is kind of ironic.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.
Morning gang, 44 here headed to 46 today, gloomy and rainy next 3 days. Well I won 3 pistols, new in the box in an online auction in Somerset, got to go pick them up today, surprised because I bid very low on all 3. I also won a roll around butcher block table for $14 and a home made large Tv Tray that folds flat, made out of walnut off of a pallet, and super slick for $3. I use two like this that I have had for 30 years, as a portable ML bench, when I go to ML shoots in case they don't have enough space to put my tackle box on, or if I go shooting in the back field. l have to run, you all have a good day, remember those in need of prayers, buff out!
O'cast, soggy etc. I hope Doug and Mikie are right on the temps today. I applied two coats of polish to the G Squirrel Nevada Mobile y'day. Heaters are on again this morning for a last coat before it gets tossed out in the Real World.
Going up on a ridge to help a church mbr split some wood. I'll definitely be driving the old Chebby.
Met a couple three shooters of late. Maybe one will turn into a Bud.
Gotta get around, Tom out.
Haven't even looked at the temp but my best guess is upper 40's. Yesterday was bright and sunny, a very nice day. Today we are back to rain and gloom. All I really have going today is lunch with my HS buds and a chiropractor appointment late this afternoon. I spent a couple hours on Tuesday laying out the patterns for the benches at the new range and was on one knee sliding the template as we move from one firing position to the next. Didn't have any trouble but I was reminded I don't plan on any F Class (belly benchrest) shooting. My thighs are sore from the different muscle use, but I'm OK and my chiropractor will loosen me up some more. She is a wizard. Looks like a day of sun on Sunday, then it's back to the rain pattern again for a while. This too shall pass, but no telling when.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Koger, be careful at an auction. Don't go waiving to a friend or you will end up buying something.
