34° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature going up to about 47°. It will be a cloudy day but I will take it.

I had a fairly easy day yesterday for a change and it was nice. I suppose I best not get to use to it though.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Bartonville, 70 now, high of 52. We are experiencing a short and sharp thunderstorm. Sounds like maybe a little bit of hail also. 60% chance of rain today, but the forecast low tonight is just 25.

I spent yesterday morning computer house cleaning. Moving and sorting files so I can find things. Finally, I have a plan to store the thousands of files on portable hard drives. A 1 terabyte hard drive is full and a 50 gig hard drive is half full.

Today will be more of the same. I found a neat little coffee shop to work at. The coffee tastes like Starbucks, yuck. But the bagels and staff are good.

Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

morning all. 8 to start, only low 20s for a high today. Had a mini blizzard yesterday, lasted about a hour but only a little snow, then the sun came out and the wind kept blowing all day.
Didn't get much done in the farm shop yesterday, stuck around home while the electrician installed outlets in the living room. Nice to get rid of a bunch of cords strung around to everything.
Meeting with a tax person in town late this afternoon, hope to find out what we need to know in one trip.
Better get around, have a great day and prayers for the needy and our country.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's 42º, wet and sorta foggy here this morning. More rain coming later. Glad it's not colder, all this rain would need plowed. I drove down to MD for fuel after work last night where it's $2.79/gal for diesel as compared to $3.49 here in PA. Definitely worth running 20 minutes south for 30 gallons of fuel. PA is so much better than the communist state of MD in so many ways, except for fuel taxes. Didn't get into much of anything after dinner.

Well, hang in there, it's almost Friday. Have a good one. Prayers sent for those that need 'em.

Good morning everyone...nice and wet again this morning. I was out trying to do a little work on a piece of equipment and took a minute to figure out that aint working. I need to get it in the shop if it will start it was dead last night.

Got my order of snares in so I need to find some places to hang them soon as it dries up enough to walk in anywhere. I ordered 5 dozen as it was much cheaper and less time consuming than me making them. I think they came out to about $1.50 each.

Not too much else going on except work, hopefully I get my material today so I can work the dump truck over the weekend and get it out of here.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Great Morning folks,
45° and clear here in the trailerhood. Only going to see 60° today.

Deb & I did chores around the doublewide. I'm pretty sure she found dust & dirt from 10 different states. The folks who do mobile washing and waxing on trailers were running late & were over booked so the doublewide & ******* Limo will be finished up today.

This morning I'm meeting JNYork for coffee. I trust someone here has given him fair warning about me :D

Good morning, GoGo. It's 57 in Louisville, headed for a near-record 70 this afternoon. A strong, strong cold front is due here around 6. So, today's high will be near 70, then Sunday morning will start out at 15-20. Oh, and the rain, did I mention the rain? Pouring down right now.

Y'all have a good'n, keep your mud boots handy, and be safe.

Morning gang

29 with highs in the low 40’s
I am meeting my best friend for breakfast. We were college roommates 48 years ago, it is hard to believe. Then we are headed to Portland for the annual Sportsman show. I don’t need anything so I will probably not drag anything home.

Good Morning to all you Varmints this morning. -6 here this morning, 20-25 mph winds, got about 7 inches new snow which puts us in the the midst of really bad blizzard which started yesterday afternoon. Interstate 94 is toatally shut down from Fargo, ND west to Jamestown ND. Under passes on the interstate are blown full. Nobody in there right mind is going any where today. They have pulled all the plows off the roads because of the heavy drifting snow and safety reasons. This is supposed to continue through tonite and into tomorrow. We are now trying to dig out the farm yard with a tractor loader and the 950 cat loader so we can feed the cows. On the lee side of the buildings we have10 ft drifts. Where they have cleared the snow it’s filling in fast.
I am staying inside where it’s warm and comfy, there nothing I can do to help outside today. I keep plenty of coffee hot for the guys, I have a big pot of chicken, wild rice soup cooking for lunch. I’ll spend the day watching old western movies on the tube and listen to the wind howl outside.
Hope you all have a god day and stay warm and stay safe. God Bless

Now that is a labor of love, a 20 Mike Mike can o nines....whooee
Do you have an AR with a Rockola switch? I have kitty litter containers of 45acp and that is puh-lenty. No Mac 10 though. 😕
I think we are just north of the rain fringe that's been dousing Mikie these last couple of days.
Just had some thunder w a snatch of lightening up on my Knoll. Temps are dropping 30+° twixt now and sunset. Then back to Winter.

Sam et al, we have a Lad that shoots on our Jr rifle team who is really showing a lot of promise. There is a thread abt him and his Mom on Acc Shooter, John Hamilton. Should anyone care to check it out, it is in the Main Forum. They have a dairy farm and $$ be tight, please read both threads. His Mom only asked for help locating a lefty small bore, not financial help but some of the AccShooter guys decided to help out. Looking at some of the electronic shot plots, it isn't hard to tell that there is talent there. His Mom coached him by reading Ways of the Rifle . . . ! Check it out guys - a very good chance he'll be an Olympian.
Made a run to Doug's stomping grounds y'day but on the west side. Other than some school bus and going home traffic, not too challenging.
Need to get down to the shop and continue the sorting and shucking process.
Keeping my powder dry will be Job # 1 today. All y'all do the same. Tom out but not very about. 🙂

68º and cloudy in the hollow, going to the mid 70's later today. Rained most of the night and we probably got a couple inches. Like KF says, a cold front will be moving in tonight and @ 6:00 tomorrow the forecast is for the upper 20's. All in all it's still decent for February. The Perfessor (John Beauchamp) and I visited the new range yesterday to do a planning session for the safety light, horns, beacons etc. He will be doing the installation. It is looking good with seed and straw in place as well as most of the necessary gravel drives in place. The pedestals for the benches are done, waiting for the bench tops to be put in place. We are planning to do that next week. We have an opening ceremony planned for the 24th. Not sure just what we will do, but most members have yet to see the new range. We're inviting them to put a few rounds down range and eat a hot dog or two. I anticipate some folks requesting new membership once we are open and I can't really blame anyone for waiting. I'm hoping we can add another 400 or so this year so that we can have the income to continue the construction. We have enough members for ongoing expenses, but need more $$ to do all the things we have planned. We may possibly hold our first match on March 2nd depending on how the topsoil/see/straw settles in and what the weather is like between now and then. Keeping fingers crossed.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Morning all, 60 here headed to 30 later today! Slept good last night, had to get up and change my dressing 2 times, lot of drainage, but that is to be expected with an incision this long and that deep, not having any fever, chills etc. I was in transit home when Trump gave his SOTU address, have been watching it online. From what I saw, he stands up for what his base believes, and tries to fulfill his election promises, first president I have ever seen do this, especially to the extent he does!

I saw that on the weather channel, and I just have. No intentions of living in that climate. I am not tough as you sir.

I am in East Tennessee today and it is 76° and full sun, I am wearing a T Shirt and ladies are all in shorts, convertibles running around with the tops down. I saw a few people in Outside swimming pools today.
The temps are going to head down soon, BUT it's outstanding right now here. Back to the Damcows tomar.
