47° here in Upstate NY this morning, they were calling for a little rain overnight but we didn't get any. The high temperature today is to get up to about 66° and be cloudy.

Yesterday I was on the road a lot once again and today I am hoping that I can be here. It gets tiresome sometimes being on the road all the time but I do enjoy it mostly.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Bartonville Texas, 61 wet and cloudy, big storms forecast for last night, we got some rain. The threat of large hail is ever present here.
Grandparents day at school for the 7 year old. We need to be there at 7..30. That is early for some one on retiree time.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken
Morning Gents! Its 60º and storming here. It started during the night and looks like it will be here all day.

I helped the Wife most of the day yesterday, moving back into the new kitchen. We have had all of our kitchen stuff boxed up and stored in various rooms throughout the house.

I'll probably head back to deer camp in a bit. Prolly sit on the porch and drink coffee all afternoon and try for a Turkey in the morning. The lightning is probably going to mess with them but we'll see.

You'all have a good one.
morning all. 32 again this morning, mid 60s for a high. Probably will be breezy again, always is in the spring here.
Got a lot done yesterday, picked up three sprinkler wheels from the local dealer and got tires mounted on them, seems that job gets harder every year for some reason. I worked on the seeder, about all that is left to do there is air up the tires and grease it when I hook it to a tractor. Went around the farm and checked for flat tires on some other sprinklers so I know how many more I need to have the Coop bring out to the farm.
Still checking cows every morning but doesn't take as long now, they are all in one corral. Makes finding new babies easy!
Time for breakfast, have a great day and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

We did get some moisture yesterday! Sleet and some rain. Turned the ground white in places. Didn't last long but sure made the air fresh!
Good morning, GoGo. It's 67 in Louisville, headed up just a bit to 79. Should be a really nice day.

Driving downtown to work again today. First time I've driven in two days in a row in quite a while. If all goes well I'll work from home tomorrow. Gotta spend some time trying to get my new home printer hooked up. The printer is acting fine, but it doesn't want to connect to my home network via the wifi. I used to enjoy troubleshooting things like this, but not so much anymore.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.
good morning folks. It's 50º and cloudy here, spitting rain. Supposed to get into the 70's later. Last day of the work week here. We get Good Friday off. Good thing we do because I still have a lot to do to get the boat ready for Monday. Looks like opening day (Sat) is going to be a blowout. Gale warnings up with 3-4 ft waves. Doesn't sound like much but 2 footers are a mess in the bay. It's not the size, it's the time between the crests. When you have a 3' crest every couple seconds, that's a serious chop. Monday is supposed to be beautiful.

I got my mowing done last evening and even took time to spray the weeds in the back yard. Not sure the stuff I used is going to work. Those weeds are a bitch to kill, especially clover. Guess we'll find out in a day or two? I also finally got some tomatoes seeds started. Little late, but hopefully that just means we'll get 'maters later.

Feeling a little better each day, but Miss Sue came home yesterday with the Flu. Just what she needed. I hope I don't get that on top of what I have.

Well I better get busy. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Charlie

Good Morning

Good Morning from NC Ohio if's 62 and a heavy thunder storm overhead and fingers aren't working very well. Looks like a good day to stay in and do domestic work. Charley your tomaters should do fine, the commercial nurseries have been starting way too early for decades. You want a 4 - 8 week seeding to plant. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

It's good to see MPC on here this morning, he doesn't need to smother out on us again. We would miss you Mike.

It's a cloudy day here with a threat of rain the next couple days. I hope. Yesterday, i did some barn repair again and I am sore all over from climbing up and down ladders and the barn loft. I am not planning much today , but something will develop I'm sure.

That longass girl holding my ladder is Jacksons GF that he's trying to run off. She won't leave, but was handy today!
I hope to give my hip joints a rest today. The new Bull is still in the field...ignoring the Damcows.
Maybe i can give him a demonstration with Judy Brown what he supposed to do. Ha.

Dean had a calf that looks like she stepped in the Paint Bucket but she sure is a cute one!

Off to sling out a couple rolls of hay, be safe folks and hope Charlie and Miss Sue gets better.

Good morning everyone....at the shop and getting ready to head south to Wilmore shortly to pick up my daughter for Easter weekend. Not too much going on right now since I'm leaving for the day. Had a guy come by and pick up his transmission I welded a crack in. I might stop by Sportsmans Warehouse on the way back to see what I don't need.

The Sous Vide cooker was a success last night with some 1" thick pork chops. I also spent about $90 at the locker here in town. Picked up some loins and steaks and couldn't leave with out a roll of jalapeno cheddar deer sausage! The wife was quite impressed with the results.

Hopefully tomorrow I get back on track at the shop and knock out the last of the spools and move on to the next job.

Hope everyone has a good day!
Thursday

Is it still morning? 65 with rain in Indy heading for 65 with rain. Been a gun room day so far once I survived breakfast. Dirtiest job in there is cleaning the bolt carrier group on an AR. Fortunately, some surgical gloves followed Julie home a while back. They are the cat's meow for such jobs. Tested 6 different loads in the 1:7 twist .224 Valkyrie yesterday. To my surprise, the best group was 60 gr Sierra HPs with a stout load of CFE223. Shot about 3/4" off a bipod. Danged thing doesn't seem to like the heavier bullets I expected it to shoot. I gotta' figure out a way to to get that M-Lok hand guard to settle down on a rest or bags.

Time to unload the tumbler but I'm giving the foam a couple more hours to work in the AR bore.

JR, was that girl holding the ladder or shaking it? Her feet ain't on the ground! Will Judy Brown hold a ladder behind a cow while you're puttin' on that demonstration for the bull?

Shane, how long did you cook those chops? You guys have got me shopping for one of those sous vide thing-a-ma-jigs. I think Target has 'em right across the street.

Sometimes its' kinda' fun showing up late. Have a good one.

Doug I left them in about 2 hours. I seen times vary from 1-4 hours on some of the recipes. No one was dead this morning so I guess they was ok.
Doug, the book that came with it is pretty decent. I will check with the boss , she has some other source also, like another cookbook. We have one chicken recipe that has Aleppo pepper and some other spice in it that darn near makes chicken breast taste like beef. When she gets home I will add the info.
