I took this photo in the Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park last July. I was in one of half a dozen Corvettes doing a cruise event - including the Park.

There was a wide "U" turn and these two gentlemen were relaxing and watching the cars circle past. They definately showed extra interest in the Corvettes tho...but who wouldn't!

Elkers (a nick-name a past GF gave 'em) spoiled me rotten! Deer? Meh. They gotz tiny bodies - mostly under 250# soaking wet, teeny antlers...[sigh].:D

Did I mention taste??? Soooo mo bettah than dem deers, I kin tell ya! (And, bigger portions to boot!):D

I have to agree Doug, elk is the best meat of any I have tried, including bear, mule deer, bison and moose. The mule deer I killed taste very close to elk, they were grain fed on sunflower seeds, alfalfa, canola and soybeans!
