61° here in Upstate NY this cloudy morning, the high temperature will get up to about 77° today. They say we shouldn't get any rain today but tomorrow we probably will get some with a chance of thunderstorms. The rest of the week there will be a chance of rain each day.

Today unlike yesterday I will be on the road all day but that is all right. The rest of the week it looks as if I will have things to do each day also.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone

Good morning from Columbia I Missouri. We are on the way to a gospel quartet sing in Lebanon for the week then over to Branson for a few days. Vacation feels good, I needed a break.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Eyes are open and I'd really like to lay anywhere but on my back. That will probably come in a week or so.
Moving to Rehab today. Black hoods, maces . . . Well, I might be exaggerating a bit. 4, 45 min sessions per day. A good chance to whip my young , porky butt into shape.
I was feeling grumpy y'day as I'd sat again for 30 mins waiting for the BM, lower extremeties absolutely dead asleep. Then I thought about Sam. A 3-5 year window to regain a percentage of ability...... I HAVE NO PROBLEMS.
Just suck it up Bucko.
Dinah was razzing me a bit last night about how I could reward her for being so good to me. She mentioned "Big and Expensive". A beat or two later, I said "Sure thing, I'll give you the hospital bill". That got a good laugh from the RN as well as Dinah.
I guess several projects are on indefinite hold till I get the wheels back under me. Nuttin' but a thing and a little time. Tom out, right Zeus?

Morning folks. It's a steamy 80° here with even higher humidity on Hatteras. Had a storm roll thru earlier. Didn't last long or dump much water. More storms later. Think we are going to get breakfast then head up and see the lighthouse. My granddaughter wants to climb it. My knee is bugging me but I guess I'll have to do it anyway. Went out on my bud's boat yesterday and caught a very few Spanish mackerel, and the ones we got were tiny. But I got out on the water. Supposed to blow a bit today and start clearing tomorrow. May get my boat out Thurs. We'll see.

Gotta get moving. Hope ya feel better soon Tom. I'm sure the nurses will take good care of ya.

Charlie

Well, a big storm is brewing and coming for us. The lighthouse might not be a good idea today. Still beats work.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 68 in Louisville, raining and only going to 82. Spotty, off-and-on showers all day and into the evening. Just what we need in terms of the rain having a chance to soak in instead of coming down hard and just running off the top.

Well, I might be exaggerating a bit. 4, 45 min sessions per day. A good chance to whip my young , porky butt into shape.
Tom, I think you should try explaining that your rehab will go much better if they assign you a young, cute PT. Getting your "young, porky butt" whipped by that might just be OK. Of course you have to pull all that off without Dinah catching on, right? ;) This injury happened when you literally fell off the wagon, right? I can think of at least half a dozen "off the wagon" jokes, but I guess I'll hold those until you've recovered. Seriously, I hope this bizarre accident doesn't keep you down for long.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there, especially around watermelon wagons.

morning all. 53 here and cloudy, feels like rain, should get into the low 80s today.
Have a sprinkler to get going this morning, and another that tipped over yesterday, didn't shut off and went into a ditch, wheels sticking up in the air and the rest of the span laying on the ground.
Have a lawyer meeting this afternoon so my day will be messed up. But that's about normal anymore.
We got a field baled yesterday afternoon, none for today.
Better get, running late, the internet was messing with me this morning and wouldn't let me one here.
Have a good day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning

Good morning all. It's raining and 67 in Indy. Looks like the rain is socked in for a while.

Hey, Tom. Did they replace parts or just screw ya' back together? Rehab is not the most fun thing ever but it will be over soon enough. Or so I recall. I stopped taking the serious pain meds soon as I could. The surgeon told me to get back on them "as directed" until I was released from rehab. Clearly he knew the rehab was not going to the most fun ever. Stick to it.

Have a good day all.

68 this morning in NC Ohio with rain for most of the day. Slept till 8 and it feels good. Tom , KF is right follow that PT stuff, it made a big difference in my hip joint replacement. And yes , if you can make a full recovery count your blessings. Coffee is done and time to do something , even if its wrong!!! Prayers to those and country. Mike

Good late morning to all the gang! Tom just hang in there buddy, prayers sent for you, that rehab can be a pain in the butt, literally! a high of 80 forecasted hear today, 80% chance of rain, we could use a god slow drizzling rain. Had a pretty good day yesterday, leg felt better, in that I could feel what I was doing for the most part. Got out and caught a 4 day old calf, bull, and banded him. In the process he proceeded to cover me in s**t, from one end to another the little fellow was so scared! LOL! I just had to stumble around and laugh at the situation, had to use half a roll of paper towels before I could get back in the side by side! I ended up casting a bunch of 45/70 slugs, 360gr. HP's, but I had about a 50% defect rate, due to the base not filling out good, will give it another try today! On another note, the feeling that came back about 50% yesterday in my right leg, also had a down side, the neuropathy pain came back with the feeling, pretty painful at bedtime when I take my meds for that, took about 2 hours to take effect, but doing pretty good today, going to try to spray some fields if the rain holds off, if not then another day! Remember those in need of prayer, Buff out!

Tom, regarding PT, all you can do is go with the luck of the draw. No exaggeration, my first PT experience was unreal. She was about 30, slender and 6 months pregnant. She was an ex-Army MP, and she used to go along with her husband (a bounty hunter) to capture bail skippers. Needless to say, she did not take it easy on me. My next two PT ladies were excellent, both were slender, strong and had great legs. The younger one was even a dancer in amateur musicals/plays in the area.
