70° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature to get up to about 90°. Tomorrow the heat is supposed to break and we will get back down into the 70's for highs.

My wife and I went up to the NYS fair yesterday and it though it was in the high 80's it wasn't to bad. There was a nice breeze all day so it didn't bother us all that much. Today it is back to reality with my being on the road both today and tomorrow.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning, 75 humid degrees, high in the upper 80's.
I made progress with the cleaning yesterday, I can see a small open area in the basement. Worked in the shop in the late afternoon and I can see small progress there. Back at it today.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

morning all. 42 with high in the upper 70s.
Feels like fall the last couple days, yesterday was windy all day, made me find a coat in the morning for a while.
Flat tire replaced on another sprinkler yesterday, sure will be glad when they are all off for the winter!
Replaced the blower fan on the big swather, what a job! Took several hours but got it done, no wonder the New Holland guy didn't want to do it.
Went to bale but then had a flat on the baler, will deal with that today some time.
Have to make a trip to town to donate blood today and get some parts for the farm.
Have a good one and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning, GoGo. Almost identical weather as yesterday. It's 74 now, going to 93, with high humidity and plenty of sunshine.

My "division" at work, maybe 200-300 I think, has its summer picnic today. I'm planning to go early and leave early.

Last night I started dropping powder and seating bullets for this weekend's UBR Nationals in Somerset. I'd rather do it the night before, but you know what happens when you plan that, right?

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Good morning varmints. It's 73º and super humid here too. We ate the rest of the crabs last evening and decided to stay inside instead of swatting bugs and sweating outside. As the sun started to set, the temp fell to the dew point and it almost instantly fogged everything up. Doors, windows, etc. It was crazy. I thought it might rain for a while, but it didn't. Days are really getting shorter. Won't be long I'll be up a treestand. Time sure flies.

Well, I need to get some coffee in me and get busy. Have a good one.

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky.
It seems Dean in Co. And i talk about the same things every day...Flat Tires and Hay. We got the rear tire back on the tractor yesterday afternoon and it was not too big of a struggle for 3 people. Judy Brown got her blue dress dirty though.
Then I went and cut down a field of hay at Otis's house....going back in a few minutes to get more.
Skruske reappeared yesterday somewhere in Minnesota, maybe he will check in today to tell us his adventures.

Hello Charlie, JR, and all the rest of the gang! Another hot day today here in KY, going to get my outside work done this morning, may do some reloading later today! Had the best day yesterday, physically, that I have had since my strokes in November, was active all day, paced myself, did not get too hot and get stressed, grateful for the good day! Going to check my trail cameras and fill up a deer feeder, bow season opens Saturday, I hope to get a doe or two the first 2 weeks of season. Building a 6xc for a buddy in Somerset with a Krieger CBI barrel, 8 twist, should be a shooter. Well, remember those in need of prayer, Buff out!

Morning

Good morning all. Like Carpman, we have a repeat of yesterday brewing in Indy. Nothing broke here. No flat tires. No hay to make even while the sun is shining. I think I've got the day covered. Meeting a granddaughter and her whatever-he-is for dinner tonight. He's really a good kid but like Pancho, "He wore his gun outside his pants. For all the honest world to see." If you get that, you're probably a bit of a Willie Nelson fan. Legal in Indiana but not my choice.

Have a good day.

For the weather channel followers, and before any local doomsdayers post, its now 83 degrees at 10 AM CST, and its expected to get up to 91-92 later today. Humidity is 65% with a 50% chance of ran/partly cloudy today in a northern Houston suburb call Spring, TX. The 65% humidity is considerably higher than it has been for the past few days, but it comes with a good chance of rain later this afternoon that will cool things off as light winds have shifted to coming inland off the Gulf.

Heading back north tomorrow where I'm sure it will be indicating that fall and hunting season are both coming soon.

Have a great day, everyone.

Had to get on the street early this morning, but I'm done out there for the day. It was in the low 70's when it got light outside, but it's nearing 90º now, sunny & humid. A typical late summer day in middle TN. I intend to spend most of the rest of the day inside, punching keys and creating records. Will probably take some information to my accountant who will keep me square with the IRS. I have a bit more ammo load for the UBR Nationals as well. Will try and get everything done for a morning departure to Buck Creek on Thursday. Generally speaking I don't care much for August. Historically, it's been a bad month for me, I'll be happier when the calendar rolls into September.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Afternoon now and wrapping up here at the shop in a few....it has been a nasty hot humid pain in the ass day! Got a call this morning about all the SS cones I been welding...after I get done they go to machine and then on to EB welding for the other details. Well it seems after doing a bunch of them a few years ago the EB welding isn't going so well...so that will mean 3 more circumferential weld joints and another cert plate to weld. It looks like it might be over 500 hours of welding to do. Plus there my be another bunch if work showing up to weld on as well.

Probably wont make the UBR nationals this weekend as I have no ammo loaded or loads tested. I shot some LT32 in both my rifles at the farmland match and they done pretty well but don't know if they're as good as they could be. We might end up in Ky anyway to pickup my daughter for the weekend but who knows what will end up happening.....probably should stay at the shop and work if it cools off some.

After I leave today I got to go do some cutting and welding on a 53 chevy truck frame for the IFS kit and Rack unit going under it for a buddy and its gonna be hot there!

Hope the rest of the day goes well and cools off!

Yup

Doug, it didn't work for Pancho. Wont work for the kid. I see open carry as at least two problems. You are a target and it tends to escalate the situation. Especially if I am the first one they want to shoot.
Agreed. Friends know Julie and I both carry everywhere it's legal and, if you know where to look, mine is usually noticeable under the tail of my shirt. Especially when I'm carrying the Glock 23. But, I don't want everybody to see my gun. Fairly normal for everybody at our table at the breakfast joint, except one older guy, to be carrying. That does often include 1-2 uniform cops which makes them the obvious target. I tell 'em don't worry. If somebody kills ya', I'll kill 'em back! Old LEO "humor" that's more appropriate than ever today.

And............I never have my back to the door.

Doug, + 1 on the door. My wife of 35 years is finally figuring it out and keeps and eye out when we are out to dinner. I am an old fashioned carry. Smith airweight snubby with +P.

Not looking for a fire fight, just supression. No jams, just click bang. Or at worst click, click, Bang
